It came as no surprise to you that your boyfriend noticed how you rubbed your hands together, shuddering slightly as you shook your head, as if that might somehow rid you of the cold. As much as he entertained the facade of being inattentive sometimes, he was quite the observant one—especially when it came to you.

But even if it wasn’t surprising, it wasn’t any less flustering when Rinne chuckled, gently grasping your hands within his much larger, much warmer—ones. “Your hands cold? Here, let me see em’ babe.” He grinned, eyelashes fluttering shut as he brought your hands to his mouth, gently kissing your hands over and over, his lips pleasantly warm against your freezing fingers and palms.

You wanted to look away, purely out of fluster. But he just looked so enamoring, holding your hands so gently, as if they’d break, a relaxed expression across his handsome features as he continued to warm them. Even if he was overly playful, and sometimes maybe even a bit obnoxious, little moments like these proved just how much he loved you. <3

Kaoru Hakaze Seeing His S/O Hugging Their Pillow In Need Of Affection

It's just one of those days that UNDEAD's finished a live and he wants some comfort from his amazing s/o!!

Admittedly, he was away for quite a bit, so he couldn't imagine how you'd been feeling. He immediately went to go see you, hoping to be greeted with your warm smile and comforting hugs!!

Given that you gave him the key to your home, since you've come to trust him deeply, he swiftly entered your home!...Only to not be greeted by your warm hugs.

Kaoru got a little concerned, so he went up to your room; there he found you, hugging your pillow tightly, clinging to it as if you desperately wished it were an actual person. It wasn't until Kaoru said your name with a soft spoken voice that you finally awoke and saw an actual person you could hold for actual affection, actual comfort.

Before Kaoru could even apologize for being away for so long, he was met with you hugging him tightly.

Kaoru just smiled, kissing your forehead, hugging you back, and sitting down on the bed with you in his arms. He moved the previously snuggled pillow out of the way, laying down on his back and resting you atop him.

Kaoru promised that he was always there for you, even if it wasn't his physical presence.

Through sleepy mumbles, you expressed how much you missed him, and how glad you were that he was here now.

Kaoru rubbed your head as you began to drift off to sleep, holding you tenderly. He whispered once again that he was always here for you, and that he wouldn't ever leave you lonely.

He loves you so much, you know!!

Rinne Amagi Seeing His S/O Hugging Their Pillow In Need Of Affection

You tend to visit him at Niki's apartment more often than he visits you in your own home. So the chances of him seeing you curled up in your bed, holding your pillow clinging for another person, your boyfriend of course, to hold you as you slept, were quite slim.

You felt insecure about it, so you never told him about this. You wanted to keep it that way.

Rinne wanted to take you out one day, be it to spend time with you or to blow his cash, so he made way to your home. You hadn't been talking much, so he supposed you were napping in your home. Rinne knew you had a tendency to do that, so he was gonna tease you for a bit whenever he woke you up.

After scurrying into your home and up to your room, he was met with you. In bed. Sleeping soundly, yet clutching your pillow tightly.

No one was watching, and you were knocked out, so Rinne softned up a bit. He layed next to you, brushing the hair away from your face, studying your features. Rinne smiled warmly, laying an arm across you.

He somehow pried the pillow from your arms while managing to keep you sound asleep.

Rinne placed his arms around you as he kissed your forehead, telling you that he was here for you.

Of course, little teases about how cute you looked clutching a pillow and how it was kinda dorky were thrown in. But all in all? He was being uncharacteristically soft.

Then you woke up, finding yourself to be in Rinne's arms as he slept soundly.

Tears sprung to your eyes as you buried your face into Rinne's chest, feeling him hold you just a little tighter, just a little closer.

Rinne himself is pretty loving, but in more of a semi-casual, playful way. He always has an arm around your shoulder, an elbow upon your head, fingers pinching your cheek, etc. He mainly expresses his love through these actions, but he’ll also say he loves you whenever he feels like it—often at the most random times.

His typical teasing and playful personality somewhat disappears whenever you start telling him how handsome he is, or how he’s just so talented, running your fingers through his soft hair and gazing lovingly into his sky blue eyes. He doesn’t become shy, per se, he’s just…caught slightly off-guard. He knows you’re just like this, but it still makes his heart clench every time!

He’ll pull you into his chest, trying to avoid your all too loving gaze. In all of his life, no one’s shown him as much affection as you have, so it’s a bit difficult to get used to—especially with how often you randomly word vomit about every single thing about him. Seeing a blushing Rinne is rare indeed, but you always seem to bring it out of him.

Giving someone affection and receiving it yourself are two completely different things, which explains why Rinne doesn’t know how to properly react whenever you take his face in your hands, telling him how pretty his eyes are, or how greatly he performed at his last show. Usually, he’ll just ruffle your hair and grin, trying to cover how flustered he actually is. But, you always see right through him, of course.

Don’t get him wrong though, he loves how you are. Rinne is grateful that you appreciate him, especially when he begins to question if he’s truly a good boyfriend to you. He may not seem like it, but Rinne likes a little reassurance every once in awhile. You really are a gem, and you always know how to make him feel special and loved. <3

Scaramouche rolling his eyes at your tears, leaving you on the couch alone with a mere blanket. He left your shared house, not even waving goodbye or saying where he was going, making your heart break even more. Your thoughts changed when he came home, clutching a bag filled with your favorite snacks and desserts, eventually letting you cuddle with him while you ranted about your problems. He didn't say a word, just nagging at you to finish the massive amounts of food he brought back while his worries ate his way into his tone.

Itto spends his whole day with you under the covers of your warm bed, hugging you close to him as you cry into his chest. His hands rake through your hair, muttering some very useless advice once in a while that made you laugh. He ends up laughing with you at your idea, helping you ease your worries and making you feel only warmth, comfort, and support. Whatever is bothering you, he'll be there with you the whole way there.

Chongyun spends the whole day in the kitchen, making popsicles not only for himself, but for you. He knew how hard it's been; stressed out and anxious due to some turmoil in your life. And what better way to cheer you up than with your favorite flavor popsicle and a huge amount of hugs.

Xingqiu makes you laugh using his writing, turning your absolutely atrocious dilemma/worries into ridiculous screenplays. He makes you see the brighter side of everything, while also cheering you up and encouraging you to stay strong. He indulges in writing fanfictions about you and him, making up all these crazy scenarios that could only exist in a cheesy romcom. However, as long as he sees your smile and hears your laugh, the embarrassment of writing those fanfictions was worth it.

Gorou takes you to the shores of Watatsumi Island, collecting sea shells with you and watching the sunset. He's seen his troupes getting sad and feeling as if all was lost, so he knows exactly how to make you feel better. Watching the sunset with him holding you, listening to his heartbeat, hearing the waves crash onto the sandy shore already makes your worries wash away. He lets you play with his tail as you mumble out all your worries, giving you logical solutions as you explained everything to him. The general never judges you, willingly giving you his shoulder to cry on. He takes time off of his duties, up until he knows for sure whatever's been bothering you has been resolved.

⠀”A kiss more fine than any wine,” Kazuha murmurs when you have to break apart for a breath, both your chests heaving slightly. His grip on you flexes the slightest bit, and you breathlessly chuckle. 

⠀There’s a faint blush on his face, and his eyes gaze up at you with the haze of a man in love. The way he looks at you, with such reverence and devotion, is enough to heat the blood in your veins.

⠀You chance a quick peck to his lips, a brief touch in comparison to the breath-stealing kisses, and yet he still chases it when you pull away. The hands on you tense slightly–– not enough to hurt, but enough to get his desperation across.

⠀”Calm down,” you laugh, voice slightly raspy. When you run your tongue over your lips (they’re undoubtedly plump from Kazuha’s kisses) he follows the movement with such rapt attention and hunger that it sends a shiver down your spine.

⠀A shiver that he is obviously aware of, if the darkening in his eyes is anything to go by.

⠀Kazuha leans forward–– not to kiss, but instead to make himself at home at the base of your throat. He angles you gently to give him more space to work, and it drags a whine from you when he begins to leave fevered kisses and small nips in his wake.

⠀”You breathe life into me,” he says into the skin of your throat, pressing a kiss there that has you trembling. “The touch of your lips is one that I could never forget, not in this life nor in any other.”

⠀With a pop he disconnects, watching as your chest heaves and your eyes droop. The hand on your back squeezes your flesh slightly, enough to have you gasping, end he surges forward to swallow the sound with his lips, replacing it with a sigh. 

⠀I love you, is what Kazuha’s kisses convey. He tugs you closer, deepening it and stealing your breath once more. From this life to the next, I am yours.
