Wikwiheba Arts Initiative in Collaboration with EPR, Rwanda, August 2017
1: the kids sketching out their design ideas for the tank
2. sanding the tank to prepare the surface for paint
3. painting the base coat white so the colors will pop
2: painting in the main sections of color with bright, locally-sourced outdoor acrylic paint
3. kids free-style painting based on the sketches they made ahead of time (after they helped us paint in the section above, along with some adults and older kids)
4. the finished product! (or one side of it anyways); some church leaders chose the verse for along the top, which is translated into Kinyarwanda.
