Anyone ever think about how ironic it is that after being unable to catch Zelda as she fell, Link got a hand that can grab lots of things and has the ability to rewind time? Both things that could have been used to save Zelda?

In Majora's Mask, the Song of Double Time lets you skip forward in time. Originally, it would skip you to 6 am or 6 pm. In the 3DS one it lets you choose the hour.

How do you think this would work outside the context of being a game mechanic? Does Link disappear for the next few hours? Does he stand there blankly? Does he go around doing the sort of things he might do if he had no specific plans in mind but is unconscious of it?

I suppose this would also relate to Wind Waker's Song of Passing.
