Instead, Zoro has, by sheer dumb luck, found his crewmate while having wandered astray, and somehow lost one of his swords as well. How? Dunno. Beats him. He hates it. "My sword is gone, must have misplaced it before..."

How unexpected to encounter their cherished swordsman in this...uncharacteristic location. The boutique carters to more feminine tastes than Robin is used to seeing from him, but perhaps he would be open to trying something new?

"Fufufu," she laughs openly, adjusting her hold on the dresses she intends to purchase. "And I take it you'd like my hand as a replacement in the meantime? I'm not sure if that is the smartest course of action." The mental image is hilarious enough, at least until she gets injured by an enemy's blade. That would be less than desireable. "But if you want aid in searching, I'd be happy to assist."

Wait a second. Luffy squints his eyes, rubs them with his fists, then steps closer with a massive frown on his face. He's not going to fall for a deception. He swears he won't fall for it, no matter how much his heart aches and squeezes in his chest. He taps - taps - taps until he is right in front of the not-really-Ace. He gets all up in his face, examines him with the utmost scrutiny, nostrils flaring and brows twitching.

This guy, he looks like Ace. He really does, same freckles and dimples and all. He...He even smells like Ace. It's that familiar scent of home-comfort-heat that had a hint of ash ever since they met in Alabasta. Luffy didn't mind the change. Ace is Ace, no matter what he did while they were apart.

This guy, he is--

No. He can't...He can't deal with this if it's fake. He seriously can't. Losing Ace almost broke him last time. It's like...like he'll be torn apart a second time if this...if Ace--

"Are you real?" Luffy asks, uncharacteristically somber. He barely gets the words out, scared of what might happen. "You look like Ace and smell like Ace. Don't act like you're him if you're not." It's like once he starts, he won't be able to stop. He presses a hand against his chest, the scar that will always remind him of that day. "I held him as he died. I felt him die."

He wants Ace back so bad. He wants it more than anything.

" You've gotten really strong, huh, Luffy! Keep this up and you won't need your big brother to look out for you! " Seeing Luffy again did bring a big smile to his face, even if a painful sting of guilt settled in his heart. Their reunion sure had alot of tragedy behind it, but Ace didn't know how else to greet him than with a smile. It had been a little over two years since that dreadful day. Truthfully, Ace had accepted his death back then... It was a fair exchange if it meant that his little brother could keep living another day and archieve his dream. However, it didn't seem that he would be allowed to cross that line just yet. Perhaps for the best, huh? After all, he had finally begun to believe that he was allowed to live in this world, and that he wanted to live. All he could do now was to keep up with Luffy and make sure his dream comes true.
