Jeonghan:

oh jeonghan. he is definitely a sassy boy. he would see you and the person hitting on you interacting, and want to get closer to you. but he would at first have the intention of trying to hear what the other person is saying (hoping for an awful pick up line) so he can make fun of/scoff at them, before proceeding to make your relationship known by the other person.

his eyes don’t move from that person until they are far out of either of your sight lines.

“jealous much?” you’d tease, only to get a scoff from him.

“how can i be jealous of someone who can hardly flirt” he’d retort. he would never admit it, but he was very much in fact jealous of that person.

Joshua:

another person who i think would react in very different ways depending on the situation. for the most part, i think he would play nice as much as he can to avoid conflict.

when he saw you and the other person interacting, he could tell that you couldn’t tell that the person was flirting with you, and not just being extremely nice.

he doesn’t hesitate to make your relationship clear with small but impactful forms of pda. with an arm around your waist (or a back hug if you are standing) , he whispers something that only you can hear, like one of your inside jokes, to make you laugh and further drive the point home that you are in fact taken.

Woozi:

not even gonna lie i imagine this man’s to be so silent but so scary. like even if you aren’t “uncomfortable” he would be so mad seeing that this person wasn’t giving up despite you rejecting them.

you would see him fuming from the other side of the room and send a small smile to him to reassure him that you are okay and not uncomfortable, which causes the tension tugging on his heart to ease up.

bonus points if the person flirting with you turns to see who you’re smiling at- they would see jihoon glaring back at them and immediately be unsettled.

he would feel very accomplished with himself.

DK:

much like joshua, he would be trying to keep the peace between parties, so he would first approach the two of you by placing one of his hands on the small of your back, and shooting a smile to the stranger across from the two of you before greeting them.

but, let’s say it doesn’t go so well…. the other person is far from interested in dokyeom s presence, even with an arm around you. they completely ignore his presence as they keep pursuing you.

it takes more time than the average person to make dk mad, but the second you are uncomfortable it’s over.

dokyeom can feel you tense up, which causes an almost instantaneous shift in his entire demeanor. instead of the usual sunny smile, his face is blank, staring back at the person still trying to talk to you.

“you should back off.” he states, with much more aggression and dominance than either of you expected. but somehow, with a scoff and a roll of their eyes, the person walked away.

dk immediately puts his hand over his chest to calm himself down. “i thought they were gonna beat me up!” he exclaims quietly.

“me too” you chuckled back.

Seungkwan:

have you seen this man when he’s mad or annoyed?????? yeah. imagine being glared at by seungkwan. no thanks.

so you can only imagine how the other person feels when they practically feel holes burning into their skull, before turning and seeing none other than seungkwan glaring them down from across the room.

most of the time, the person leaves before seungkwan ms strides bring him to his spot beside you, but if the person hitting on you is still brave enough to endure short distance glaring from seungkwan, it doesn’t last for very long before they start shifting uncomfortably and eventually excusing themself.

Seungcheol

you know he would be super protective, and outwardly at that. he might actually be a giant puppy, but he will turn into Mr. mean guy to anyone who crosses any of your boundaries.

I imagine this to happen at a formal event like a wedding or work party, so you are both dressed in formal attire. Of course, you look absolutely gorgeous and stunning and beautiful. However, it is no surprise that someone is asking you to dance.

He immediately holds his head a little higher and puffs his chest a bit more before returning to your side and smoothly snaking an arm around your waist with a kiss to the forehead, making sure to make eye contact with you to see if he needs to tell this guy off or just continue to do what he was doing.

Wonwoo

I fully imagine yall being in a bookstore, and you are waiting for him in the fantasy section as he is in the bathroom. When he comes back out, he sees you and someone else facing each other and that person handing you a book with a smile on their face.

he is immediately walking towards you, hoping not to seem too overbearing. once he is finally in earshot, he can hear the person say something to the extent of

"You are exactly what I imagined the lead in this book to look like, strong and beautiful." wonwoo scoffs at the sound of this person's attempt at getting your number.

"Thank you," he hears you respond, but can see how tense you are even from behind you, so he clears his throat to get the attention of the both of you. The sight of your shoulders relaxing brings him peace but doesn't stop him from placing a hand on your hip as you turn to face him.

The person hitting on you seems to get the message, and once he leaves wonwoo can't help but see who the person was comparing you to, and once he reads the title of the book, he cant help but laugh, and it seems that you had been holding in your fit of laughter as to the protagonist of the book you were being compared to.

jealous boy. unless it was a situation that caused you to be uncomfortable, he would proceed to be jealous that you were getting attention from other people.

"what's wrong gyu?"

"why don't you ask your new partner hm?" he would retort, sparing a small gesture to the person who was definitely flirting with you earlier.

"oh, I see now." you would start, trying to make eye contact. "you're jealous."

"i am not jealous." he'd scoff

"oh okay, I can go and talk to them again...."

"wait no." he would give you puppy eyes, and you couldn't help but give him heart

vernon

I feel like vernon's reactions would vary very broadly depending on the situation. especially depending on if you were uncomfortable or not. if you seemed comfortable, or as comfortable as one can be when a stranger is hitting on them, then he would just come to stand beside you, not using any pda, as that was not something that either of you were into, but just providing his presence there to make sure you knew he was there for you. in this situation i don't think he would give much of a reaction unless the pick-up line was super cringy, in which case he would wait until the person was gone and then you two would try to control your fits of laughter.

on the other hand, if you seemed uncomfortable, then he would quite literally remove you from the situation. I see vernon as the silent mad type, so I feel like he would take your hand and direct you to a secluded area/to your car (depending on where you are) and would check to see if you're okay, and would only be half joking when asking you if you wanted him to beat the guy up.

First Kiss with Minghao

POV: Your first kiss with Minghao

It’s raining. 

After spending the morning in bed listening to rain sounds together, you and Minghao decide to get up and eat breakfast. 

You come down the stairs and notice your friend and Vernon dancing together in the rain just outside of the double doors that lead to the patio area of your Air BnB in the Bahamas. So far, this trip was going swimmingly and you couldn’t have asked for a better time. You knew one thing could make it better though. 

You look over at Minghao to see that he is looking out at the scene as well. There is a longing in his eyes you notice, that’s all too familiar to you. 

Suddenly he looks over at you and takes your hand. As he starts to drag you out of the house and into the rain you feel giddy inside. This is one of your lifelong dreams to dance in the rain with your significant other. You let out a little giggle and follow him in stride. 

You feel the soft warm rain start dropping onto your skin as you step outside and follow Minghao to a secluded place away from your friends. Minghao stops suddenly and wraps you up in his arms. He looks down at you and his eyes are so intense and loving. He starts to sway in the rain with you following his lead. You lock eyes and begin to feel all melty inside. This is really happening. 

Yes, dear reader, it is happening. 

He begins humming softly into your ear. It’s one of his songs; you recognize the chorus. You rest your head on his shoulder as he hums gently into your ear and you feel at peace. 

After a few minutes of this, he stops suddenly. 

“Can I kiss you?” he asks looking down at you with loving eyes. 

He places his finger under your chin and lifts your head off of his shoulder so he can look you in the eyes. 

He holds you like that waiting for an answer. 

You nod your head yes and he swoops in locking lips with you. The kiss is magnetic and transformative. You feel every nerve ending on your body and feel charged with electric energy. You feel like you can do anything. 

You break away from the kiss and see he has closed his eyes and is smiling. 

He opens them and his smile widens. He takes your head and cradles them in his hands and goes in for another kiss because he just can’t get enough of you.

I imagine you fart around him and the fart is loud but the smell is even worse

But he would end up snorting or something and cracking up

He would make a big ass deal about it

I tried to make this the least holiday specific that I could so that everyone can enjoy! :)

Seungcheol:

- would make sure you have all your layers on before you go out

- He does not want you to get cold🥺

- And then once you get outside he would keep checking to make sure you’re warm enough 

- He would also love to take you to a coffee shop 

- And y’all could sit in a window seat and drink coffee or hot cocoa and watch the snow fall 

- And tell each other about childhood holiday traditions 

- Imagine him insisting on reading a holiday book to you too

- He wraps an arm around you and reads it all dramatically 

- You’re just rolling your eyes the whole time but he’s knows you secretly enjoy it

Jeonghan:

- He would probably complain about how cold he is

- you would establish a “no snowballs in the face rule”

- He would proceed to throw a snowball directly in your face

- He wouldn’t even feel bad after

- After that you would not stop until you got your revenge

- Except every time you try to throw a snowball at him, you miss

- Ofc he just makes fun of you more for that 

- It gets to the point where Seungcheol has to hold him for you down so you can throw a snowball in his face

Joshua:

- You can’t tell me he doesn’t know all the present wrapping hacks

- His presently look the best and he wraps them so effortlessly 

- They’re aesthetically pleasing too 

- Like vintage, old looking, brown paper packages tied up with string type shit

- Also imagine this man taking you on an ice skating date 

- He would be so graceful like no way he’s falling

- Then if you fall or if you’re clinging to the side the whole time he would low key feel bad

- Or he would just try to teach you how to ice skate

- “I promise it’s not that hard! Here, just hold my hands. I’ll skate backwards. Just concentrate on me. There, you got it!” 

Jun:

- He would love to go sledding with you 

- He would be so happy just to watch you smile as he pushes you down a hill

- And he would insist on being the one to push you 

- Then you would ask him to sled with you

- “But I like watching you have fun.”

- “Please Junhui?” 

- “Okay fine.” 

- “Why are you grabbing another sled?” 

- “Uhhh because we’re going sledding together…?” 

- “Right. Together. With me in your lap.” 

- Imagine the blush on this mans face oh my god

- He would love it though

- You would dare him to eat the snow

- He would absolutely do it

- Imagine his face if you jokingly told him it was yellow snow after he ate it too

- The chaos that surrounds this man, I simply cannot

- Then he would be like “Well I ate the snow, now you gotta eat the snow.” 

- And you would refuse

- Like you might look a little awkward but isn’t that adorable

- Honestly he doesn’t care that his own hands are cold as long as you’re comfortable

- Imagine he has you over at his studio 

- And you notice it’s not decorated 

- And you’re like Jihoon we gotta get festive

- So you suggest that you go get decorations and of course he can’t say no to you

- Off to the store you go 

- He only wants lights but you insist on buying it all: the lights, holiday knick- knacks, holiday pillows, ornaments, maybe a little tree, candles, blankets 

- And when you get back to the studio you decorate together 

- But the whole time he keeps insisting that decorating is not necessary 

- Of course you ignore him 

- And after he can’t help but notice how much more cozy it looks with all the decorations and you wrapped up in a blanket sitting on his couch with an “I told you so” look on your face 

DK:

- You can’t tell me that he’s not a fan of cheesy holiday movies

- Like the Hallmark ones

- You know when the holidays come around he always has the hallmark channel on

- Even if it’s just in the background

- They’re not even good movies but for some reason he loves them

- Imagine it’s a holiday movie musical too 

- You know he’s singing every song to you

- And he would probably try to get you to dance with him

- He would absolutely cry if it’s a sad movie

- He wraps his arms around you, momentarily trapping you there with him

- “And that means you’re staying with me….. Unless…”

- Then you kiss him on the cheek

- Then you kiss him on the lips and he releases you 

- He would make the best hot cocoa when you come back inside

- But no matter how hard you tried

- He would say his looks better 

- Even if it was a mere pile of leaves, a carrot, and a sad excuse for snow 

- He would also probably sing holiday carols to you while you build your snowmen

- Imagine if you kicked his over though

- He would be so mad

- This would probably result in a snow fight

- Or him putting snow down your shirt

- Unlike Josh, he cannot wrap presents to save his life

- Imagine you’re at the studio rehearsing something with Dino or watching him practice

- You know there’s a bit of a storm outside but you think you’ll be able to make it home fine

- Essentially everyone is stuck where they are for the rest of the night (Please don’t come for me on the snow logistics, I spent most of my life in Florida.)

- Dino is like hey it’s okay we can make little party out of it

- He goes to grab blankets and pillows that the boys conveniently stored there 

- And then you suggest that you make a fort to sleep in because you’re a little scared due to the howling winds outside

- He agrees and you make a huge fort with some chairs and your amazing fort making abilities

- At night the studio ends up getting really cold too so uh oh the only thing you can to do keep warm is cuddle with each other

- He’s kind shy about it at first too 

- But you initiate the cuddling because you’re freezing, wrapping your arm around him from behind and pulling him in

- Then he scoots back a little so you can feel his body heat which helps a lot

- Eventually you entangle your legs together and fall asleep holding each other

Things had been good, really. Not that different from before—Vernon and you had always been close.

But at the same time totally different.

You didn’t have to worry about casually touching him anymore or about letting your gaze linger for just a little too long. There was no fear of getting caught because he already knew about your feelings. Even more than that, he reciprocated them. So that was new, you supposed. Cuddling and looking and being held and being kissed. All new and different.

The guilt, too, was new. It wasn’t like you always felt guilty. Vernon made you feel loved and wanted and never put any kind of pressure on you.

But from time to time you couldn’t help yourself from wondering if you were holding him back. Dating you, loving you meant he was missing out. He’d said from the start that it didn’t matter to him—but was that even possible? Wouldn’t it at least matter a little bit? When you were cuddling and kissing in bed, wouldn’t it matter then? Or when your kisses got just a little more heated and he suddenly pulled away? Or when you were laying on the couch like now, your head resting against his chest and his hand drawing patterns onto your lower back; wouldn’t it matter? Wouldn’t he feel like he was missing out?

“You’re in your head again, aren’t you?” Vernon’s voice pulled you from your thoughts.

It was fascinating, really, that  Vernon could always tell when something was up with you. Fascinating and maybe a little intimidating. But you supposed that was part of the ordeal of being known, truly known by someone.

You shrugged.

“Tell me.” It didn’t sound commanding. If anything it was a reassurance. He said tell me but what he meant was You can trust me with whatever it is.

Once again you just shrugged. Vernon didn’t press you to say more, he just looked at you patiently, giving you the time to find the right words.

“I just— I’m being selfish aren’t I?”

He raised an eyebrow in confusion. “How so?”

“I feel like I’m—” You sighed. 

What were you going to say? That you felt like you were holding him back? It was true but you knew he would deny it, so you settled on something else instead. 

“Are you happy?”

“What’s this about?”

“Are you?”

“Mostly?”

You frowned, dissatisfied with the vague answer. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“When I’m stuck in traffic? No. When the chocolate is empty? Also no.” A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips. “But when I’m cuddled up with you on the couch? Very much.”

For a moment you just looked at him, his expression so fond it made your heart ache. You averted your gaze when you couldn’t bear it anymore.

“What about in bed?” You swallowed. “Are you happy then too?”

He pulled you a little closer, seemingly realizing what this was all about. 

“Y/n.” His voice was quiet, gentle. “Remember what I said that first night?”

You just eyed him, not sure what he was getting at.

“When you asked if anyone could love you—remember what I said?”

It felt embarrassing to say, but you remembered it well. “You could,” you pressed out after a while, your hands fidgeting with nerves.

“Yeah. I could. And I can and I still do.”

Of course you knew that he loved you, but hearing him say it again made your heart flutter.

Still— “That’s not the same.”

“The same as what?”

“As being happy. Even if you love me—that doesn’t mean we should be together or that I’m… enough.”

When you glanced up to his eyes he looked pained.

“But you are enough. I love you. I love your body, too. Because it’s yours and it keeps you alive. I don’t have to touch it to love it.”

You felt tears welling up in your eyes and your voice sounded choked up when you spoke. “I just—I don’t want to hold you back.”

“You’re not. I promise you’re not.” He rested his head against yours, his hands drawing patterns on your back. “I know it’s not that easy. But you can trust me on that.”

You relaxed into his touch, taking in the warmth of his body.

“And when you can’t, I’ll tell you again. As many times as you need.” He crooked his neck to look at you. His expression was earnest when you met his gaze. “Deal?”

You sniffed, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Deal.”

he also loves to be in that position on your lap when he's sleepy because he can doze off against your shoulder and tuck his head in the crook of your neck if the lights are too bright even after he shuts his eyes :-(

vernon's also obsessed with lying his head on your chest when you're in bed so he can listen to your heartbeat

that is his absolute FAVORITE position to take naps in. he also gets extremely soft when you lie with your head on his chest

inside he is trying to calm his heartbeat down so it's actually relaxing for you because no matter how long you've been together his heart races whenever you're near him because he loves you so much

little does he know that you absolutely love his heartbeat and feel so safe and warm even when it's racing because it's so cute that he's still excited whenever you're around

another top cuddling style in bed for vernon is when y'all are spooning (he's happy to be the big or little spoon <3) and you're softly wrapped around each other while scrolling on your phones or sleepily chatting

sharing music is one of his love languages, so he finds it so intimate to lie on the living room floor together, pillows or couch cushions under your heads, and listening to music

he has a playlist specifically for that and he's always adding to it because he's always thinking of music he wants to share and experience with you

despite being so overwhelmed with how much he loves you, he's also so clueless

he can do the hottest thing in the world and you're blushing and entirely stunned and he's just looks at you with a furrowed brow and a tilted head

he's standing there like ???? you good ???? meanwhile you're standing there like *dial-up noises*

he will also do the SWEETEST things

like you'll be talking about your day while eating food and then he'll mention something you said months ago and say "i was thinking about that story you told me about your favorite childhood toy, and it actually matches who you are so well, even now because..." and he'll explain himself by connecting little things he notices about you now that relate to that toy

you've completely stopped eating, your jaw is on the floor, and you can't believe that he not only remembered something you talked about briefly months ago but thought about it on his own in such depth that he had a whole tedtalk about it

once again he has unintentionally broken your brain but has no idea why you're reacting like that because he's just acting in a way that comes naturally to him

another thing that comes naturally to him is sharing clothes

he always takes pieces of your style and incorporates it into his fashion because he likes being reminded of you wherever he goes

sometimes he'll ask you if he can borrow a pair of sunglasses you have, or he'll ask you where you got a pair of pants

at first you don't realize what he's doing, but one day he shows up in an outfit you've worn before and you joke about him turning into you

he smiles and says "i like it when my clothes remind me of you"

that's how you both start combining your wardrobes and tastes

even if they're entirely opposite each other, there will always be things you exchange to blend together your styles

vernon loves this because it reflects how you two have blended your lives together <3

eventually you have matching couple outfits, but it's entirely unintentional LOL

sometimes vernon will have a strange outfit on, but seventeen knows better than to make fun of anything he wears of yours / in your style

the one time seungkwan made fun of a hat vernon borrowed from you, vernon gave seungkwan a look that had him begging for his life

no one knew vernon could be so scary but that's just how fiercely he adores you and your individuality <3

he is such a fierce supporter of you living the life you want and in the way you want

he thinks any dreams or goals you have are attainable and he will support you in every way possible

he also will validate you constantly. if you're feeling insecure, he will listen to you and tell you that he understands what it feels like to have those thoughts. he then follows that by reminding you of everything he loves about you and how he truly thinks you are the most interesting and amazing person in the world

he may be scared to show his deepest fears/insecurities, but, with you, it's different

when he gets to know your mind so deeply, he wants you to know his in the same way

he cherishes that kind of emotional and intellectual intimacy between you two like nothing else

in less serious ways, he shows this by creating a world for just the two of you

you've got your own languages of facial expressions, gestures, phrases, and even pictures/gifs/emojis

not only can you two communicate with the slightest of facial expressions, you become so in tune with each other's body languages that you know how the other is feeling immediately

if you're in a group and he thinks something you said is super funny, he'll laugh really hard and then lightly squeeze your hand to tell you just how tickled pink he is

he will do the same thing if he needs you for something

if he's anxious or overwhelmed, he will naturally search for your hand and you'll know by the feel of it that he needs to be held in some way

so you just intertwine your fingers and give him a tight squeeze that says i'm here

and he feels completely safe again :-(

Rain was neither common nor rare in the country you lived in. There was a fair share of heavy, moderate and light rain. Despite the slight hindrance it brought, you loved it.

The sound of the water droplets falling from the sky and coming into contact with the closest object was practically music to your ears. You loved studying, reading and resting while listening to the rain.

Right now, you had just finished your scrumptious dinner (not made by your boyfriend) and you heard the droplets. The drizzle slowly escalated and soon enough, you were resting on your couch, your eyes closed, enjoying the weather.

Your boyfriend, Vernon, had just come out of the bathroom and found you apparently sleeping on the couch. He swiftly made his way over to you, shaking you lightly.

“Babe, babe, don’t sleep. You just finished your dinner and need to digest it or you’ll vomit,” he mumbled as your eyes opened. You looked up to him, stifling a chuckle. How cute.

“I wasn’t sleeping, Vern,” you replied, pulling your boyfriend closer to you to cuddle. “I was just enjoying the sound of rain.” Vernon said nothing but a simple “oh” as he cuddled into you, smushing his face into the crook of your neck.

After some time of comfortable silence between you two (while you listened to the plashing patter of steady rain), Vernon shifted his position to take a good look at your beautiful face.

“I love how you love the rain. I love how you enjoy it instead of complaining about its inconvenience. I don’t have a single friend who likes the rain as much as you do. Please don’t stop loving it. It makes you special, and I can show you off better when you’re special.”

You laughed at his last sentence, smacking him on the chest lightly. What a dork.
