[7] I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh-barnea to spy out the land, and I brought back to him an honest report. [8] Although my brothers who went with me made the hearts of the people melt with fear, I remained loyal to the Lord my God.
Joshua 14:7-8 BSB
The part that stood out to me from today's reading is that an honest report is one that trusts in God's promises, because later in this chapter it does admit to the giants/anakim truly being in the land and something they could only fight with God's help, but that last bit is the key, they HAVE God's help! There is nothing to fear, the God who rained hell down on the egyptians is on their side! He will call down boulders from heaven, tear down city walls, and stop the sun in the sky! The honest report is that if God is for us, who can stand against us.

Day 7
Acts 3:1-26 BSB
[1] One afternoon Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. [2] And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts. [3] When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. [4] Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter. [5] So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. [6] But Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” [7] Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong. [8] He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God. [9] When all the people saw him walking and praising God, [10] they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. [11] While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade. [12] And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? [13] The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him. [14] You rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. [15] You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of the fact. [16] By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence. [17] And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. [18] But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer. [19] Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away, [20] that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you. [21] Heaven must take Him in until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God announced long ago through His holy prophets. [22] For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to Him in everything He tells you. [23] Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’ [24] Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days. [25] And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’ [26] When God raised up His Servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

Week 1 Day 3
Acts 1:1-26 BSB
[1] In my first book, O Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach, [2] until the day He was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen. [3] After His suffering, He presented Himself to them with many convincing proofs that He was alive. He appeared to them over a span of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. [4] And while they were gathered together, He commanded them: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss. [5] For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” [6] So when they came together, they asked Him, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” [7] Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. [8] But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” [9] After He had said this, they watched as He was taken up, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. [10] They were looking intently into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. [11] “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” [12] Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, which is near the city, a Sabbath day’s journey away. [13] When they arrived, they went to the upper room where they were staying: Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. [14] With one accord they all continued in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. [15] In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (a gathering of about a hundred and twenty) and said, [16] “Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit foretold through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide for those who arrested Jesus. [17] He was one of our number and shared in this ministry.” [18] (Now with the reward for his wickedness Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong and burst open in the middle, and all his intestines spilled out. [19] This became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so they called that field in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.) [20] “For it is written in the book of Psalms: ‘May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it,’ and, ‘May another take his position.’ [21] Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have accompanied us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, [22] beginning from John’s baptism until the day Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” [23] So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. [24] And they prayed, “Lord, You know everyone’s heart. Show us which of these two You have chosen [25] to take up this ministry and apostleship, which Judas abandoned to go to his rightful place.” [26] Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.

Day 6 part 2
32] God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses. [33] Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. [34] For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand [35] until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’ [36] Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!” [37] When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” [38] Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. [39] This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.” [40] With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.” [41] Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day. [42] They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. [43] A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs. [44] All the believers were together and had everything in common. [45] Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need. [46] With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, [47] praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Day 6
Acts 2:1-47 BSB
[1] When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. [2] Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. [3] They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. [5] Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. [6] And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language. [7] Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? [8] How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language? [9] Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, [10] Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome, [11] both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” [12] Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” [13] But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!” [14] Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words. [15] These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day! [16] No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: [17] ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. [18] Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. [19] I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. [20] The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord. [21] And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ [22] Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know. [23] He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross. [24] But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its clutches. [25] David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. [26] Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope, [27] because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay. [28] You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’ [29] Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. [30] But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne. [31] Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay.
Rest of passage for day 6 will be copied to the next reblog as I ran out of words per post.

Prophets
Week 1
Day 1
Joshua 1:1-18 BSB
[1] Now after the death of His servant Moses, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying, [2] “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore arise, you and all these people, and cross over the Jordan into the land that I am giving to the children of Israel. [3] I have given you every place where the sole of your foot will tread, just as I promised to Moses. [4] Your territory shall extend from the wilderness and Lebanon to the great River Euphrates—all the land of the Hittites—and west as far as the Great Sea. [5] No one shall stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so will I be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. [6] Be strong and courageous, for you shall give these people the inheritance of the land that I swore to their fathers I would give them. [7] Above all, be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe all the law that My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may prosper wherever you go. [8] This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do. [9] Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” [10] Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people: [11] “Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you will cross the Jordan to go in and take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’” [12] But to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said, [13] “Remember what Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you when he said, ‘The Lord your God will give you rest, and He will give you this land.’ [14] Your wives, your young children, and your livestock may remain in the land that Moses gave you on this side of the Jordan. But all your mighty men of valor must be armed for battle to cross over ahead of your brothers and help them, [15] until the Lord gives them rest as He has done for you, and your brothers also possess the land that the Lord your God is giving them. Then you may return to the land of your inheritance and take possession of that which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the east side of the Jordan.” [16] So they answered Joshua, “Everything you have commanded us we will do, and everywhere you send us we will go. [17] Just as we obeyed Moses in all things, so we will obey you. And may the Lord your God be with you, as He was with Moses. [18] Anyone who rebels against your order and does not obey your words, all that you command him, will be put to death. Above all, be strong and courageous!”

Day 2
Joshua 2:1-24 BSB
[1] Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim, saying, “Go, inspect the land, especially Jericho.” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there. [2] And it was reported to the king of Jericho: “Behold, some men of Israel have come here tonight to spy out the land.” [3] So the king of Jericho sent to Rahab and said, “Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, for they have come to spy out the whole land.” [4] But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them. So she said, “Yes, the men did come to me, but I did not know where they had come from. [5] At dusk, when the gate was about to close, the men went out, and I do not know which way they went. Pursue them quickly, and you may catch them!” [6] (But Rahab had taken them up to the roof and hidden them among the stalks of flax that she had laid out there.) [7] So the king’s men set out in pursuit of the spies along the road to the fords of the Jordan, and as soon as they had gone out, the gate was shut. [8] Before the spies lay down for the night, Rahab went up on the roof [9] and said to them, “I know that the Lord has given you this land and that the fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who dwell in the land are melting in fear of you. [10] For we have heard how the Lord dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites across the Jordan, whom you devoted to destruction. [11] When we heard this, our hearts melted and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. [12] Now therefore, please swear to me by the Lord that you will indeed show kindness to my family, because I showed kindness to you. Give me a sure sign [13] that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and that you will deliver us from death.” [14] “Our lives for your lives!” the men agreed. “If you do not report our mission, we will show you kindness and faithfulness when the Lord gives us the land.” [15] Then Rahab let them down by a rope through the window, since the house where she lived was built into the wall of the city. [16] “Go to the hill country,” she said, “so that your pursuers will not find you. Hide yourselves there for three days until they have returned; then go on your way.” [17] The men said to her, “We will not be bound by this oath you made us swear [18] unless, when we enter the land, you have tied this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you have brought your father and mother and brothers and all your family into your house. [19] If anyone goes out the door of your house into the street, his blood will be on his own head, and we will be innocent. But if a hand is laid on anyone with you in the house, his blood will be on our heads. [20] And if you report our mission, we will be released from the oath you made us swear.” [21] “Let it be as you say,” she replied, and she sent them away. And when they had gone, she tied the scarlet cord in the window. [22] So the spies went out into the hill country and stayed there three days, until their pursuers had returned without finding them, having searched all along the road. [23] Then the two men started back, came down from the hill country, and crossed the river. So they came to Joshua son of Nun and reported all that had happened to them. [24] “The Lord has surely delivered the entire land into our hands,” they said to Joshua. “Indeed, all who dwell in the land are melting in fear of us.”
Day 3
Joshua 3:1-17 BSB
[1] Early the next morning Joshua got up and left Shittim with all the Israelites. They went as far as the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. [2] After three days the officers went through the camp [3] and commanded the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being carried by the Levitical priests, you are to set out from your positions and follow it. [4] But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits between yourselves and the ark. Do not go near it, so that you can see the way to go, since you have never traveled this way before.” [5] Then Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” [6] And he said to the priests, “Take the ark of the covenant and go on ahead of the people.” So they carried the ark of the covenant and went ahead of them. [7] Now the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you just as I was with Moses. [8] Command the priests carrying the ark of the covenant: ‘When you reach the edge of the waters, stand in the Jordan.’” [9] So Joshua told the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God.” [10] He continued, “This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that He will surely drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites. [11] Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go ahead of you into the Jordan. [12] Now choose twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe. [13] When the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the Lord—the Lord of all the earth—touch down in the waters of the Jordan, its flowing waters will be cut off and will stand up in a heap.” [14] So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carried the ark of the covenant ahead of them. [15] Now the Jordan overflows its banks throughout the harvest season. But as soon as the priests carrying the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, [16] the flowing water stood still. It backed up as far upstream as Adam, a city in the area of Zarethan, while the water flowing toward the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea ) was completely cut off. So the people crossed over opposite Jericho. [17] The priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan, while all Israel crossed over the dry ground, until the entire nation had crossed the Jordan.
Day 4
Joshua 4:1-24 BSB
[1] When the whole nation had finished crossing the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua, [2] “Choose twelve men from among the people, one from each tribe, [3] and command them: ‘Take up for yourselves twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan where the priests were standing, carry them with you, and set them down in the place where you spend the night.’” [4] So Joshua summoned the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, [5] and said to them, “Cross over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take a stone upon his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of Israel, [6] to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ [7] you are to tell them, ‘The waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters were cut off.’ Therefore these stones will be a memorial to the Israelites forever.” [8] Thus the Israelites did as Joshua had commanded them. They took up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, one for each tribe of Israel, just as the Lord had told Joshua; and they carried them to the camp, where they set them down. [9] Joshua also set up twelve stones in the middle of the Jordan, in the place where the priests who carried the ark of the covenant stood. And the stones are there to this day. [10] Now the priests who carried the ark remained standing in the middle of the Jordan until the people had completed everything the Lord had commanded Joshua to tell them, just as Moses had directed Joshua. The people hurried across, [11] and after everyone had finished crossing, the priests with the ark of the Lord crossed in the sight of the people. [12] The Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh crossed over before the Israelites, armed for battle as Moses had instructed them. [13] About 40,000 troops armed for battle crossed over before the Lord into the plains of Jericho. [14] On that day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel, and they revered him all the days of his life, just as they had revered Moses. [15] Then the Lord said to Joshua, [16] “Command the priests who carry the ark of the Testimony to come up from the Jordan.” [17] So Joshua commanded the priests, “Come up from the Jordan.” [18] When the priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord came up out of the Jordan and their feet touched the dry land, the waters of the Jordan returned to their course and overflowed all the banks as before. [19] On the tenth day of the first month the people went up from the Jordan and camped at Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. [20] And there at Gilgal Joshua set up the twelve stones they had taken from the Jordan. [21] Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “In the future, when your children ask their fathers, ‘What is the meaning of these stones?’ [22] you are to tell them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’ [23] For the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed over, just as He did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed over. [24] He did this so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the Lord is mighty, and so that you may always fear the Lord your God.”
Day 5
Joshua 5:1-15 BSB
[1] Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted and their spirits failed for fear of the Israelites. [2] At that time the Lord said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the sons of Israel once again.” [3] So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth. [4] Now this is why Joshua circumcised them: All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of war—had died on the journey in the wilderness after they had left Egypt. [5] Though all who had come out were circumcised, none of those born in the wilderness on the journey from Egypt had been circumcised. [6] For the Israelites had wandered in the wilderness forty years, until all the nation’s men of war who had come out of Egypt had died, since they did not obey the Lord. So the Lord vowed never to let them see the land He had sworn to their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey. [7] And Joshua raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones he circumcised. Until this time they were still uncircumcised, since they had not been circumcised along the way. [8] And after all the nation had been circumcised, they stayed there in the camp until they were healed. [9] Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So that place has been called Gilgal to this day. [10] On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, while the Israelites were camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, they kept the Passover. [11] The day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate unleavened bread and roasted grain from the produce of the land. [12] And the day after they had eaten from the produce of the land, the manna ceased. There was no more manna for the Israelites, so that year they began to eat the crops of the land of Canaan. Lord [13] Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in His hand. Joshua approached Him and asked, “Are You for us or for our enemies?” [14] “Neither,” He replied. “I have now come as Commander of the Lord’s army.” Then Joshua fell facedown in reverence and asked Him, “What does my Lord have to say to His servant?” [15] The Commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

Day 1
Joshua 1:1-18 BSB

What my Bible reading plan is going to look like:
Sunday: Torah/Pentateuch, Gospels, Prophets, Wisdom/Writings
Monday: Torah/Pentateuch, Gospels, Prophets, Wisdoms/Writings
Tuesday: Torah/Pentateuch, Prophets, Wisdom/Writings, Epistles
Wednesday: Torah/Pentateuch, Prophets, Wisdom/Writings
Thursday: Torah/Pentateuch, Prophets, Wisdom/Writings
Friday: Torah/Pentateuch, Prophets, Wisdom/Writings, Epistles
Saturday: Torah/Pentateuch, Gospels, Prophets, Wisdom/Writings, Epistles
There is no perfect way of dividing the chapters for any of these genres, so I will be dropping a weekly chapter of each as we go on through the year, taking from sunday first so I can consentrate on meditating and searching scriptures from my pastor's sermon, except with Epistles as I have placed thier readings later in the week, I will instead take them from Saturday, as that one is crowded, and I hope to have a similar situation for that day as well, so be aware of that. Also how I have them devided through the week works for me and my work schedule but may not for you, feel free to move things around, I may too if my work situation changes.
Links to what each genre's reading plan for the year can be found below:
Torah/Pentateuch I am sticking with the traditional Jewish portion program for this genre because it worked really well last year.

Day 2
Matthew 2:1-23 BSB
[1] After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, [2] asking, “Where is the One who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.” [3] When King Herod heard this, he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. [4] And when he had assembled all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ was to be born. [5] “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: [6] ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of My people Israel.’” [7] Then Herod called the Magi secretly and learned from them the exact time the star had appeared. [8] And sending them to Bethlehem, he said: “Go and search carefully for the Child, and when you find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.” [9] After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stood over the place where the Child was. [10] When they saw the star, they rejoiced with great delight. [11] On coming to the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh. [12] And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they withdrew to their country by another route. [13] When the Magi had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.” [14] So he got up, took the Child and His mother by night, and withdrew to Egypt, [15] where he stayed until the death of Herod. This fulfilled what the Lord had spoken through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called My Son.” [16] When Herod saw that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was filled with rage. Sending orders, he put to death all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, according to the time he had learned from the Magi. [17] Then what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: [18] “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.” [19] After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt. [20] “Get up!” he said. “Take the Child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those seeking the Child’s life are now dead.” [21] So Joseph got up, took the Child and His mother, and went to the land of Israel. [22] But when he learned that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee, [23] and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophets: “He will be called a Nazarene.”
Day 7
Matthew 3:1-17 BSB
[1] In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea [2] and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” [3] This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him.’” [4] John wore a garment of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. [5] People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region around the Jordan. [6] Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. [7] But when John saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his place of baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? [8] Produce fruit, then, in keeping with repentance. [9] And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. [10] The axe lies ready at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. [11] I baptize you with water for repentance, but after me will come One more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. [12] His winnowing fork is in His hand to clear His threshing floor and to gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” [13] At that time Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. [14] But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” [15] “Let it be so now,” Jesus replied. “It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness in this way.” Then John permitted Him. [16] As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. Suddenly the heavens were opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and resting on Him. [17] And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”

Week 1 Day 1
Matthew 1:1-25 BSB
[1] This is the record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham: [2] Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers. [3] Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram. [4] Ram was the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon. [5] Salmon was the father of Boaz by Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, [6] and Jesse the father of David the king. Next: David was the father of Solomon by Uriah’s wife, [7] Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa. [8] Asa was the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah. [9] Uzziah was the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah. [10] Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah, [11] and Josiah the father of Jeconiah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon. [12] After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, [13] Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor. [14] Azor was the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud. [15] Eliud was the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob, [16] and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. [17] In all, then, there were fourteen generations from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ. [18] This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged in marriage to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. [19] Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and was unwilling to disgrace her publicly, he resolved to divorce her quietly. [20] But after he had pondered these things, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to embrace Mary as your wife, for the One conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. [21] She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” [22] All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: [23] “Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel” (which means, “God with us”). [24] When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him, and embraced Mary as his wife. [25] But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a Son. And he gave Him the name Jesus.

(this was supposed to be posted sunday😅)
Torah/Pentatuch
Day 1
Genesis 1:1-2:3
Genesis 1:1-31 BSB
[1] In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [2] Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. [3] And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. [4] And God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. [5] God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. [6] And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.” [7] So God made the expanse and separated the waters beneath it from the waters above. And it was so. [8] God called the expanse “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day. [9] And God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered into one place, so that the dry land may appear.” And it was so. [10] God called the dry land “earth,” and the gathering of waters He called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. [11] Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation: seed-bearing plants and fruit trees, each bearing fruit with seed according to its kind.” And it was so. [12] The earth produced vegetation: seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. [13] And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day. [14] And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to distinguish between the day and the night, and let them be signs to mark the seasons and days and years. [15] And let them serve as lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth.” And it was so. [16] God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. And He made the stars as well. [17] God set these lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth, [18] to preside over the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. [19] And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day. [20] And God said, “Let the waters teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.” [21] So God created the great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters teemed according to their kinds, and every bird of flight after its kind. And God saw that it was good. [22] Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters of the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” [23] And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day. [24] And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, land crawlers, and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. [25] God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that crawls upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. [26] Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.” [27] So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. [28] God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth.” [29] Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit contains seed. They will be yours for food. [30] And to every beast of the earth and every bird of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth—everything that has the breath of life in it—I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. [31] And God looked upon all that He had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.
Genesis 2:1-3 BSB
[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. [2] And by the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on that day He rested from all His work. [3] Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on that day He rested from all the work of creation that He had accomplished.
Day 2
Genesis 2:4-19 BSB
[4] This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made them. [5] Now no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth, nor had any plant of the field sprouted; for the Lord God had not yet sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. [6] But springs welled up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. [7] Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being. [8] And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, where He placed the man He had formed. [9] Out of the ground the Lord God gave growth to every tree that is pleasing to the eye and good for food. And in the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. [10] Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it branched into four headwaters: [11] The name of the first river is Pishon; it winds through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. [12] And the gold of that land is pure, and bdellium and onyx are found there. [13] The name of the second river is Gihon; it winds through the whole land of Cush. [14] The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it runs along the east side of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. [15] Then the Lord God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it. [16] And the Lord God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden, [17] but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.” [18] The Lord God also said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make for him a suitable helper.” [19] And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and He brought them to the man to see what he would name each one. And whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.
Day 3
Genesis 2:20-25 BSB
[20] The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam no suitable helper was found. [21] So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he slept, He took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the area with flesh. [22] And from the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man, He made a woman and brought her to him. [23] And the man said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for out of man she was taken.” [24] For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. [25] And the man and his wife were both naked, and they were not ashamed.
Genesis 3:1-21 BSB
[1] Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field that the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden?’” [2] The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden, [3] but about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You must not eat of it or touch it, or you will die.’” [4] “You will not surely die,” the serpent told her. [5] “For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” [6] When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom, she took the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. [7] And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; so they sewed together fig leaves and made coverings for themselves. [8] Then the man and his wife heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the breeze of the day, and they hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. [9] But the Lord God called out to the man, “Where are you?” [10] “I heard Your voice in the garden,” he replied, “and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.” [11] “Who told you that you were naked?” asked the Lord God. “Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” [12] And the man answered, “The woman whom You gave me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” [13] Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied, “and I ate.” [14] So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and every beast of the field! On your belly will you go, and dust you will eat, all the days of your life. [15] And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” [16] To the woman He said: “I will sharply increase your pain in childbirth; in pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” [17] And to Adam He said: “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat, cursed is the ground because of you; through toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. [18] Both thorns and thistles it will yield for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. [19] By the sweat of your brow you will eat your bread, until you return to the ground— because out of it were you taken. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” [20] And Adam named his wife Eve, because she would be the mother of all the living. [21] And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them.
Day 4
Genesis 3:22-24 BSB
[22] Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil. And now, lest he reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...” [23] Therefore the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. [24] So He drove out the man and stationed cherubim on the east side of the Garden of Eden, along with a whirling sword of flame to guard the way to the tree of life.
Genesis 4:1-18 BSB
[1] And Adam had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain. “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man,” she said. [2] Later she gave birth to Cain’s brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, while Cain was a tiller of the soil. [3] So in the course of time, Cain brought some of the fruit of the soil as an offering to the Lord, [4] while Abel brought the best portions of the firstborn of his flock. And the Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, [5] but He had no regard for Cain and his offering. So Cain became very angry, and his countenance fell. [6] “Why are you angry,” said the Lord to Cain, “and why has your countenance fallen? [7] If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you refuse to do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires you, but you must master it.” [8] Then Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out to the field.” And while they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. [9] And the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I do not know!” he answered. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” [10] “What have you done?” replied the Lord. “The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. [11] Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. [12] When you till the ground, it will no longer yield its produce to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.” [13] But Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is greater than I can bear. [14] Behold, this day You have driven me from the face of the earth, and from Your face I will be hidden; I will be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.” [15] “Not so!” replied the Lord. “If anyone slays Cain, then Cain will be avenged sevenfold.” And the Lord placed a mark on Cain, so that no one who found him would kill him. [16] So Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. [17] And Cain had relations with his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to Enoch. Then Cain built a city and named it after his son Enoch. [18] Now to Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methusael, and Methusael was the father of Lamech.
Day 5
Genesis 4:19-22 BSB
[19] And Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. [20] Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents and raise livestock. [21] And his brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play the harp and flute. [22] And Zillah gave birth to Tubal-cain, a forger of every implement of bronze and iron. And the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
Day 6
Genesis 4:23-26 BSB
[23] Then Lamech said to his wives: “Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; wives of Lamech, listen to my speech. For I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for striking me. [24] If Cain is avenged sevenfold, then Lamech seventy-sevenfold.” [25] And Adam again had relations with his wife, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, “God has granted me another seed in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.” [26] And to Seth also a son was born, and he called him Enosh. At that time men began to call upon the name of the Lord.
Genesis 5:1-24 BSB
[1] This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness. [2] Male and female He created them, and He blessed them. And in the day they were created, He called them “man.” [3] When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth. [4] And after he had become the father of Seth, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. [5] So Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died. [6] When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh. [7] And after he had become the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. [8] So Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died. [9] When Enosh was 90 years old, he became the father of Kenan. [10] And after he had become the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. [11] So Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died. [12] When Kenan was 70 years old, he became the father of Mahalalel. [13] And after he had become the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. [14] So Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died. [15] When Mahalalel was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared. [16] And after he had become the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. [17] So Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died. [18] When Jared was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch. [19] And after he had become the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. [20] So Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died. [21] When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah. [22] And after he had become the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. [23] So Enoch lived a total of 365 years. [24] Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more, because God had taken him away.
Day 7
Genesis 5:25-32 BSB
[25] When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech. [26] And after he had become the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. [27] So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died. [28] When Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son. [29] And he named him Noah, saying, “May this one comfort us in the labor and toil of our hands caused by the ground that the Lord has cursed.” [30] And after he had become the father of Noah, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters. [31] So Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died. [32] After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Genesis 6:1-8 BSB
[1] Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them, [2] the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose. [3] So the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.” [4] The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and afterward as well—when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown. [5] Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. [6] And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. [7] So the Lord said, “I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.” [8] Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
