I don't think I've ever posted this here for whatever reason but the way I envision and draw Spamton in the context of my selfship au/plotline has changed a bit after a few years of cohabitation.

Elaboration and general yapping/gushing under the cut.

He doesn't wear his suit and dealmakers 24/7 (at least not while at home). He's a bit more clean and properly mended, though he's still definitely stained and rough around the edges, access to proper hygiene and a partner who happens to be really good and repair restoration has done wonders for his genuine non-projected confidence and self esteem. He even decided to try growing his hair out a bit (somehow??) and keeps it back in a little ponytail. It's still greasy from way too much product, old habits die hard and he can tell I'm definitely into the whole classic sleaze factor enough to not actually mind it no matter how much I complain about how unpleasant it is to touch. Over time, he's also become more and more open to experimenting with fashion/gender presentation. He wears dresses sometimes.

A couple of years in, I was able to find better quality rings (not high end by any means but they actually fit and are metal, not plastic) though the shitty original wedding/engagement ones are kept in a drawer for sentimental reasons. The marriage is sort of open at this point and there's some experimenting with non-monogamy but the main emotional attachment remains primarily with each other. Ramb is currently rooming with us and there is something vaguely queerplatonic going on there but we haven't really fully sorted that out yet.

Getting Spamton into hobbies has been a slow process. He paints sometimes but usually ends up wanting me to "fix" his work because I'm "better" at it. Slowly trying to turn this into collabs. We play video games together and he boasts about beating me, but truth is we're both bad at it. The only thing he'll watch on TV is advertisements. He's willing to watch shows sometimes but only on the computer. He's still banned from the kitchen 70% of the time. He's too distracting and in my space. One of our favorite things to do together is collaborative improv story telling, often resulting in a ton of inside jokes and fake product ideas that we reference as if they were real things.

imagine a road trip with your f/o(s)!!

perhaps its a long one! going multiple days until you reach your destination! staying in cute little hotels/motels. maybe renting airbnbs along the way, or even just finding a campsite for the night.

maybe its just a few hours one way and a few hours back! taking some time to make little pit stops along the way, spending some time at youe destination, before making the drive back to the warmth of home.

the destination could be somewhere fun! like visiting friends/family, going to a national park or some fun amusement park! maybe theres a fun concert you spent months planning for or a dream destination you've always wanted to visit!

or who knows! maybe you've just decided you guys want to get up and go somewhere! anywhere! the trip is so much more exciting than the destination!

wherever youre going, however long you plan on road tripping just imagine the joy you'll feel with your f/o(s) driving along side you! are you the one driving? is one of your f/o(s) driving? are you each taking turns?

stopping along the way to grab drinks and snacks from convenience stores, stopping at a cute little diner for lunch. playing silly little games in the car together. taking in all the sights. your shared Playlist blasting as you scream-sing lyrics, windows down.

just you, and the love of your life, endless miles of road ahead of you, conversation and laughter <3
