what if the baudelaire fortune actually IS small potatoes

Idk if it makes sense in the timeline. If I’m remembering correctly, the Baudelaires were born after the schism formed. And I’m almost certain Kit and Olaf broke things off at the form of the schism. Correct me if I’m wrong tho.

On top of that, the author of the books worked as a writer on the show, so the events in the Netflix series are in part canon. I believe the parts that don’t directly conflict with the books in the show are cannon, and I don’t think it’s ever openly stated in the books that Olaf is the father of Kit’s baby.

While I think the idea is interesting and I don’t hate the theory, I just find it kinda uncomfortable for me personally to entertain the idea, because I see Kitlaf as pretty abusive.

So, one of the most widely debated theories is that Bea II is Olaf’s daughter.

There’s a lot of arguments for this theory, such as “it would bring the series into a full circle.” or “it would make sense in the books if the Baudelaires were raising Olaf’s daughter.”

(I don’t remember every argument so don’t attack me)

like imagine violet, only child, suddenly having to deal with feeling responsible for the safety of these other two children because she’s the oldest (even a couple years really matter when you’re kids; as far as violet’s concerned klaus is a baby and as far as klaus is concerned violet’s an adult) and struggling to be the leader she’s never had to be before. meanwhile klaus and sunny are like “wow I love my cool new big sister”
