I love visiting people who have some kind of pet reptile because they're always like "would you like to hold the reptile" and I'm like "of course I would" and then the rest of the conversation happens with me just holding a random reptile and the reptile Has No Feelings about the situation. They always just sit there, probably vaguely wishing to return to their heat lamp but clearly exuding an energy of This Might As Well Happen. and then I put it back in its enclosure and go home and the reptile very clearly has no strong feelings about the situation.

(Also the line variation and style is like that because I was referencing caracters from the show. You know, trying to see what they would look like if they were there)

I don’t know if you wanted feedback on the art as a whole or Cass specifically so I’ll try and do both

You did the lighting really well! The subtle color variation around their mouth and eyes is really nice. Plus the line weight variation on the face is great. I’d say trying to add color variation in the hair might help define it a bit more

For Cass, their hair is a bit fluffier and curlier, and the blue part of their eyes is more green-blue (plus they have a nose ring)

But! Overall it’s a really good piece!

WRONG! He is a suspect and we should treat him as such. He should be treated as innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. He’s a person of interest not the killer. i appreciate how scifi/fantasy/furry/specbio/etc worldbuilders task themselves with re-inventing everyday objects for use by non-human sentient species. they go into tons of detail figuring out what exactly a bug alien might use as an eating utensil, or how a bipedal rabbit would wear a hat, or what a living flame could use for transportation.

when they're redesigning human objects for their species in a human parallel world, they're often focused on comfort and ease of use. "even though my species *could* use this the same as humans, it wouldn't be very convenient for them. here's a more ergonomic version perfectly designed for their anatomy."

and well, i find this funny because a lot of human shit is also poorly designed for human anatomy.
