Hey, new to your blog. What is goolatta...? And how was it conceived? I think all I know is that it's a crossover ship?

goolatta is the pairing between doctor WD Gaster (undertale) and Gary (Gregory?) Coolatta (Half Life VR but the AI is Self Aware)

important distinction being that its gman from hlvrai specifically. canon half life gman is.... too much of a concept; a force of nature, not human enough. hes not a person, per se, more of a device. describes himself as a "what" rather than a "who" yknow?

hlvrai gman is. well hes fuckin silly. hes still an inderdimentional alien with eldritch powers and bizarre mannerisms but. hes also a dad and checks in on his 36 year old son to make sure he's sleeping well. he threatens gordon at gunpoint about going to the movies with him. he gets scared shitless when benry enters his timestop and asks for a fucking playstation subscription. and then everything going on with chuck e cheese of course

gaster in this is... not precisely his deltarune iteration. we don't know enough about him obviously, but the goolatta in my brain consists of a solely undertale gaster that got lost in the void and was rescued by frisk. he's sans and papyrus' dad in this (shocker headcanon i know) and is. equal parts silly and menacing

it mostly came to be when i realized how much they both had in common. misterious character that barely shows up, not human, timespace related powers, odd speech quirk, the letter G......

it started as a crackship, as these things often do, and... well. you can probably guess how that went lol
