Push-up buddies ! (Rodimus and Reader, SFW)

Just big platonic and fluff and cuteness

He was in his office, working at his desk, but couldn't stay still. Changing positions every two kliks, distracted by his cravings he made in his desk, distracted by his knive and spinning it in his servo... he was bored. His many reports, some already done, one in the process and so much more, covered the surface. He wanted- needed to do something of his frame. He needed to move.

Unfortunately for Rodimus, if Megatron, or worst Ultra Magnus caught him doing something else than his data pads, they would send him to the brig, fed up with his escapes. Why bots can't understand speedsters need to move a lot?

That's how he decided to exercice. Some fitness wouldn't hurt right ?

Maybe an hour later, Rodimus was doing push-ups when you came in his habsuit, hands full of human-sized datapads, face contorted in concentration, not looking at him directly.

"Hey Captain, i bring you my latest reports just like you asked-"

"Oh, hey... you can put them next to my desk..."

"Needed to do something of your frame huh?"

"Yeah, well... try to be the captain of over 200 bots... with maniacs as co- cap and SIC... and you'll always want to free some steam..."

You look at him going up and down, spoiler moving along, and you can't resist to ask.

"Hey Rodders, i know it's totally a weird question and you can refuse but... can i be on your back ? It looks fun..."

He stops in mid push, look at you, surprised by your question, but a smile forms on his goofy faceplate.

"Wanna exercice with me ?"

"I mean... yeah?"

"No prob! C'mon"

He lowers himself on his elbows and you climb on his back, giggling like a child. You position yourself right under his spoiler, not wanting to hurt this sensitive part.

"Okay, ready?"

"Yeah"

"Let's push up!"

And here he goes again. The motion of up and down make you hold to his back, hands flat against him, but it make a funny reaction, the change of G, making you laugh.

"One ! Two ! Three ! Four !"

He sometimes stops in mid push to surprise you, then drops again, and it was litteraly the funniest thing you could have lived this week. You don't even know why, you sitting on a giant robot's back when that said robot is doing push-ups, but you couldn't care less.

Suddenly, he drops completly on the ground.

"Oh nooo! You're soooo heavy for poor me, i can't do this anymore, please have mercyyy!"

He manage to have a hold on you, like when you hold a cat by the neck, he rolls on his back and put you on his chest.

"Please, mercy ! I surrender !!"

Playing the drama queen, he mimics as if he was fighting for his life, kicking his pedes and throwing his arms in every directions. You simply decide to play along.

"I will crush you ! Fear me, giant being of metal!"

"Primus help me ! Noooo! Send an S.O.S. for endangered cybertronian !"

"It is now your end ! Any last word, giant?"

"Yeah... yes i do have !"

"Tell them before i finish you !"

He seems to "fight back", then look at you right in the eyes.

"Don't eat the last cookie. It is mine."

He then falls limp against the floor, glossa out, optics shut. You laugh to tears, repeating his sentence. He opens an optic, smiles, and start tickling you.

"The mean heavy human is distracted ! It is time to attack!"

"NO NO HAHAHA NO TICKLING RODIMUS !! HAHAHA!!"

He keeps going for two kliks, and let you breath back. You dry the tears, still laughing a bit.

"Aw man, you made me cry."

"It was fun yeah."

"Thanks for that, i really needed to change my mind."

"No prob! I also needed a good laughter."

"Wanna hang out at Swerve's ? Our shift just ended."

"Fuck already? Primus we're real sparklings... but yeah, let's take a drink."

He scoops you in his servos, goes back on his two pedes and on the way, you two continue throwing jokes at each others.
