Hello lovelies!

Happy Prid- I mean Men's Mental Health Month!

I know I am kinda late but I really wanted I am sure that such a well-known and celebrated thing which is totally being talked about would mean fictional character would get the recognition too, right? Right?

I mean I am sure nobody forgot about Dick's episodes of hallucinations and and how he was a victim of sexual assault, right?

I am also sure nobody thinks Jason's sudden mood shifts and childhood issues are just being swept under the rug, right?

Oh and Tim's broken personality and parentification are also being talked about, right?

And we know about Bruce's inability to get over his parents' murder and his need to take in orphanes but not learning to be the parent who puts their child first, right?

We talk about Alfred's emotional detachment and boundary crossings tendencies, right?

We talk about how Duke needed to continue living without ever getting closure, right?

We talk about Roy's drug problems and how hard it is to raise a little girl as a single dad, right?

Do we talk about Clark's need to fit in in a place that was never built for him and it will never get better?

Do we talk about the Steve and Bucky being suddenly dropped into another century and how they supposed to just run with it?

Do we talk about Wade and the voices and what it's like living with a narration and inner criticism without an off button?

Do we talk about Mark, Steven and Jake and how it feels to be a system, how it feels to live as a multiple?

Do we really talk about these men and their issues or are they just fanfic Ideas?

All jokes aside: These are just a few examples, but I could talk about this topic for days. I find it really unfair how we don't see more of these things. Nowadays it's getting better but I still feel the stigmatization. Without talking about it it won't get better. I know it's shameful because the past generations had treated mental health issues as something evil and something that needed to end. But there are things that don't end, things that stay doesn't matter what you want and you need to learn how to live with it. There's prejudice because there isn't enough information out there. There aren't many people that wear their issues like battle scars because these scars won't stop bleeding sometimes. I hope that in the future with more recognition we can get more help for everyone. Only one character, just one representation can give hope to a lot of people, I wish that we'd have it.

She absolutely fucking would. What with Cass being able to tell when anyone's lying and Barbara having a perfect memory Cass would take Barbara constantly trying to lie to her face anyway as a serious insult to her intelligence more than anything else. Babs, she knows you know she knows, why are you like this?

No no no, Jason is not the one who is emotionally repressed, all the other bats are, and they are emotionally repressed in a way that makes them many times unable to receive each other's emotions as well. And in Jason's case...well, there is always the layer of him being seen especially untrustworthy, always too much, always making things bigger than they are. Jason is painfully open with his emotions, actually, and many times he gets absolutely nothing back when he shows them.

And then one day he is upset with Roy over something and he lays it out incredibly clearly, using so many words to describe it, to really, really hammer it in, to just make him listen-

-and only for Roy to go okay. Yeah, I can see that, I'm sorry. I'll work on it. You think this would help with you feeling more comfortable?

This leads to Jason just bluescreening because. his brain has already been conditioned to expect nothing he says to be actually acknowledged. So now he is standing there, staring, and Roy is getting kinda nervous.

red hood identity reveal, but the bats find out because red hood was de-aged causing them to stumble upon a young jason todd before he died, in oversized red hood gear, and very confused as to why everyone looks seconds away from a heart attack and/or crying

like they're confronting red hood, who (just to clarify) they dont know is their jason, and jason gets like hit by a de-aging spell drive-by style, jason does his best to run away when he is hit but he begins to stumble as he feels himself changing

either jason is still conscious and his body is the only thing to regress, or his mind has also regressed and he has no clue what is going on or where he is, it could go either way

OMG i know i just posted this but i just had a thought so, EDIT:

i just had this idea where jason is still conscious, and i dont necessarily mean in the way i explained above, i mean its still his current self but he is a bit more emotional because he doesnt have any pit madness and maybe he doesnt have as good of a grasp on his emotions like he did before

so im thinking hes in the cave, surrounded by bats and birds, and bruce is asking him why he became the red hood

and jason is trying to explain his frustration, how he knows he was replaced, and he knows bruce sees him as his biggest failure, and how hes mad (hurt) about the joker still being alive. but the more he vents his frustration the more he breaks and he begins to cry

cry like the hurt traumatized kid he is, and he hates himself for being so weak in front of everyone but he cant stop crying

anyways yeah thats all i have for now, we'll see if i add onto this later bye bye

You think Bruce stays awake at night imagining Martha and Thomas being grandparents for the batkids? Like he can clearly see his parents supporting Dick as he competed in gymnastics tournaments and Thomas teaching Jason how to fix cars starting when he was ten. Martha would constantly call Tim for tech support help and he would do it everytime. Thomas would take Cass fishing because she was quiet but shockingly good at it. Duke would come over and decorate the Manor with them because his family used to do it and Martha and Thomas would bake him cookies, not even have Alfred do it. Thomas would love how intelligent Dami is and constantly ruffle his hair. But Bruce realizes it will never happen and so he bottles up his feelings more?
