“There are two types of summer – light and dark. Light summers are honeyed meadows and sun kissed skin, Sapphire eyes and red apples, Vanilla Scented shampoo and children’s smiles. Light summer is white linen blowing in the wind, You never want to land. You are a feather, drifting in the clear blue sky. The dandelions and lady bugs are you friends. Light Summer is the earth, rich and brown. The sunsets stain the clouds pink and orange in light summer, It’s a time for longing looks and secret kisses, Mermaids and fawns with beady brown eyes. The laughter in light summer is young and full of wonder. Dark summer is milky white skin and jade conditioner, Crackling fires and pomegranate seeds, Thick early morning fog snaking around the roots of trees. They are full of thunderstorms. You are awake in dark summer – you are real. You can feel the worms in the soil beneath your feet, But make no mistake – the sky is your god. Fairy folk cackle with you in dark summer. They are wicked and wonderful. Dark summer is wooden houses and purple flowers, Dancing shadows and old leather books, And the sunsets – they are burning The sun is a red ball in the sky. Dark summers are secret love letters and quick glances. I have fooled you – I am the fairy folk These are not summers, They are people. Neither are good or bad – they are both. A perfect blend and entirely human, They are raging seas and late sleepy mornings. Sometimes they clash – teeth and claws. Sometimes it’s not teeth and claws, But strokes and batting eyelashes, And sometimes, If you’re lucky, Sometimes light and dark summer collide. And sometimes a whole new summer is made.”

Unfortunately that’s true but don’t worry I’ll evict you soon enough
“There’s a corner of my heart that is yours. And I don’t mean for now, or until I’ve found somebody else, I mean forever. I mean to say that whether I fall in love a thousand times over or once or never again, there’ll always be a small quiet place in my heart that belongs only to you.”
