Our aesthetic ranges from topical to timeless, from honest to subversive. We create work for both specific viewers and for broad consideration, but where our style is fluid, our dedicated level of taste and priority to avoid harm is rigid. Genres our audience may be familiar with include, but not exclusively, modernism and retro-modernism, post-humanism and existentialism, surrealism, ethereal, lo-fi and minimalism, pop art, noir, glitch, and others. heia, a head. Part of our new collection, Compromised Crania.
Theia is an upcycled piece of art that began life as a training tool for a cosmetology student. After it's last hair cut was complete and the student moved on to sentient heads, it began its new life as a piece of art. Painted with metallic acrylic paints and gold leaf accents. Finished in a high gloss varnish.
Theia is approximately 10" tall with a 21" circumference. The base head is comprised of real human hair, vinyl for the face, and a plastic base.
