Sorry I've been quiet for a while now, work has been kicking my ass mentally and physically. I've pretty much been spending my days off recovering and recharging for the next round of shifts.

Vic was for once actually battling at the the battle tree, though he didn't seemed to be trying to hard, he had withdrawn after the 20th match with a shrug. He seemed a tad surprised to see Ree within the lobby as he was getting ready to leave.

"Hey kid, how's it going? Long time no see" he greeted with a nod.

Vicious's eyes narrow behind his helmet as he debates the merits of starting a random ass fight with this punk. Then again, he had just recently finished a brawl with a rival gang and he wanted to get out of uniform and find a stiff drink or few.

As the other man talked he felt a migraine coming on. He was a complete and utter idiot. He was pretty sure the giant red R on his chest answered one of the comments the idiot made.

He let out a sigh as he straighten up and turned to leave, clearly not wanting to bother with the other. "I suggest you keep it that way, knowing me isn't a good thing usually for punks like you. I'm leaving now and you better not follow me."

He leans against the wall with a rather amused expression, arms folded loosely to show he's not in any hurry to run away. He could spend all day annoying strangers with his silly sentences, watching them finally erupt into a ball of hatred. How far can he push this guy, he wonders?

"Come on. It's just a little jokey-joke. I don't even know who you are or..." A dismissive wave of the hand, he really isn't interested. "who you even work for. But!" And he stands up straight, arms unfolding. "Let me guess. Big and strong, so maybe.... You work beating people up for a living. Or perhaps you have a heart of gold~"

Wrestle with Pendra!! Hee hee-- Pendra wants to wrestle!! She wants to have fun, just like Vicious did with his own Pokemon. The Scolipede bobbed her head before rearing up on her back legs so she could pump and pedal her front ones in mid air. Occasionally having to drop back down to not lose balance, only to go up tall again.

Of course, the Bug was very polite and stayed in her place without approaching the man. But she really really really wanted to wassle and roll, like he was doing with the also very big Pokemon.

Vicious let out a sigh at the bug Pokémon's antics before rolling his shoulders and setting down his glasses, and moving to stand across from Pendra. "If I say Yield, you better stop, that means the fight is over, got it?" he asked as he kept stretching his arms and legs as he waited for the reply. He hadn't wrestled with the bug before, but it was better to be safe than sorry.

He wondered if she truly understood what that price was, but it wasn't his problem if she didn't; he wasn't going to push the issue or argue with her. Maybe if it caused enough problems, he'd get a cure or a fix for his own.

"Still alive, yes, but it does cause problems of its own with its existence. Death isn't the worst thing in life, you know?" he commented with a shrug. "Like I mentioned before, it can take over and cause havoc if I'm not careful," he added as he watched her get up and start to pace. He let out a chuckle at the last comment. "True, you are more intelligent than the others I've seen messing around with the Shadow. Don't get me started on the idiots in Orre I robbed my research from, I doubt they fully understood what they were working with."

An eyebrow rose, forcing down her throat an impatient groan.

"No price is too heavy", she answered in a whisper, as cold as ever. Who cares if a grunt or two dies in the search for knowledge? For the glory of Team Rocket? Surely the Boss would understand.

"I've witnessed the death of weaker Pokèmon. One with a lot of resolution isn't any less determined than a human, still. And you're still alive, are you not?"

Leaving the table, she restarts pacing around, circling him not unlike a hungry Mandibuzz.

"I'm not the first fool who got her hands on the Shadow Project. I know with what I'd be dealing with."

There was a pause for a moment... Then another moment...

Clearly, Shay had broken something mentally with her comment from the man before he let out a loud sigh. "No," he stated before walking away.

"NO, WAIT!!"

A pause.

"Kiss me t'piss Jax off."
