shifter. exile. the bad luck charm you can't shake. kitty was never the golden child. not like her older brother. she spent most of her life in his shadow, and when she finally stepped out of it, she burned everything down behind her. it was her fault the pack was ambushed. she doesn't like to say this out loud. but everyone knows. especially sam.

she spent a lot of her time after that in feline form. it was jut easier that way. no questions, no guilt, no past. just another stray on the move. lost and alone, she longs to find a home. a truth she buries so deep. she wanders from town to town, never being able to stay in one place for too long.

eris turns when she hears her name, one beat slower than she means to. there's a haze in her eyes that's not just from the lights. probably the vodka. probably the bump she did five minutes ago. probably that electric blue thing jack ordered for her.

❛ depends who's asking, ❜ she says, voice light and a little wobbly with warmth. tonight was a good night. she felt good up there. she hasn't mingled as much as she would like but she tends to keep to herself when jack's nearby. it's just easier that way.

she squints at him, smiling through a sip of her drink. ❛ wait, you watched it? like all of it? ❜ she recognizes him too, of course. she offers an awkward half-hearted thumbs up. ❛ i've seen you and the guys around before. wicked show tonight. great energy. ❜

the sweatier the gig the better, axel always says -- and this smoke-hazed club they're in certainly is sweaty. his band has finished their set for the night, another act is setting up, tweaking their guitars and tuning over the amp system. the floor is sticky, it smells like beer and stale cigarettes in here, but the important thing is that it's packed out.

he recognises eris from her set, earlier today when things weren't so chaotic. he's surprised to see her here this far into the evening, but he supposes wherever jack thunder goes, eris grey is sure to follow.

he saw jack in the bathroom not too long ago. nothing to write home about, if you ask him.

"ay, eris, right?" he flags a bartender, wipes sweat from his forehead down his face with a cloth from his pocket. "i watched your set. good stuff."

musician. singer. addict. broken-hearted daydream. eris grey is a rising star caught in the fallout of her own fame. she's gentle at her core but she seems to constantly find herself tangled in the wrong web. eris is stuck in a cycle of craving: love, drugs, sex, validation. anything to escape. she is soft-spoken and sweet when she's not spiraling. dangerously easy to root for even she's messing it all up.

i like it when it hurts like hell. there's nothing you can do to me, i wouldn't do to myself.

werewolf. bar owner. feisty. mina runs a supernatural bar where the drinks are strong and the regulars are stronger. she's quick with a comeback and extremely slow to trust, but it's worth it when you get past her tough shell. underneath you'll find someone extremely loyal, unexpectedly gentle, and willing to bleed for her people.

it's not the full moon you should worry about. it's me. on a random tuesday.
