I would ditch my last name if I thought it wouldn't break my grandmother's heart. My father did nothing. I shouldn't feel like I owe him anything. For the longest time. I thought I was just mad about the money. Felt stupid for wanting to cut him out. Why did it just click today? To him, I was stupid and easy to ignore. Easy to abandon. Then I was the first of my sibling he's monetarily took advantage.

Wonder if he had paid attention. Would my adhd been found sooner? Instead of my 'wasted' potentional. My 'laziness' i get why I don't want him around.

Concept: a superhero whose civilian identity is five different people. Not like they’re a hive mind or they can duplicate themselves or anything – they’re just a group of five people who all have different powers but coincidentally wear roughly the same size costume, who’ve decided to team up and share the same heroic persona. As far as both the general public and the broader super-powered community know, they’re a single incredibly hard-working super with a bewildering variety of seemingly unrelated powers, except they only have access to any given power some of the time owing to complex criteria they refuse to adequately explain.

(Thus far they’ve been very careful to ensure that their heroic persona is never provably in two places at once, though honestly it’s only a matter of time; there’s some argument among the group whether to deal with that eventuality by coming clean, or by claiming that bilocation is also one of their powers.)

Corporate: Doesn’t allow stores to do their own ordering, sends same orders to every store regardless of size, location, sales data, customer feedback, etc.

Corporate: Replaces well-liked, competent managers with hypocritical, sycophantic drones who can’t complete the most basic back office tasks without help and who routinely throw employees under the bus to appease outrageously entitled customers.

Corporate: Ends donation programs for local charities and social programs without any consideration for the relationships that individual stores have fostered in their communities through those programs.

Corporate: Enacts policies but picks and chooses when to enforce them; will side with a customer who complains about an employee not allowing a return against policy but then reprimand that same employee for taking a similar return a week later.

Also corporate: “Why are we having so much trouble retaining employees and why are sales down? Must be because of bad employees giving poor customer service!”
