ways to practice self-love 🤍

start prioritizing yourself
take control of your life, forget the past and enjoy your present
surround yourself with beautiful things that make you feel good, romanticize your life every day!
balance your body, mind and spirit (i.e. don't only give importance to your appearance, for example)
create a healthy routine that brings you closer to your goals or to your best version of yourself
do outdoor activities or activities that make you feel good and productive
allow yourself to rest when necessary
lead a healthy lifestyle, exercise, good nutrition and positive thinking
stay away from toxic people and learn to set limits, for you
speak to yourself with love and treat yourself with love
do things that make you feel proud of yourself
think what your best version of you would be like, with your qualities and goals and start working towards it
don't give importance to what others say, it says more about them than about yourself
stop focusing on what you don't like about yourself or your circumstances and focus on the positive
be thankful every day even if it is for small things
be aware that you are deserving of all the good things that are about to happen to you
change your mentality to a more positive one with affirmations and meditation
do not consume toxic content, be it news or social media
don't blame yourself, but take responsibility for your actions
empathize with yourself
stay away from self-criticism and perfectionism
be aware that it is your life and that you deserve to be happy, you can not continue living in the negative or what harms you
treat yourself as you would like to be treated and do not do what you would not like to be done to you
go on dates with yourself from time to time and enjoy the present moment, go to a coffee shop, get your nails done, go shopping by yourself
don't compare yourself with other people, it's your life, not other people's life
be responsible for yourself and your actions

think i’m experiencing burn out so i haven’t been updating this as much as i would have hoped :(
got the results back from my psychology test, absolutely butchered a question so i got 79%. it’s still a pass so i’m going to cut myself some slack for now. there’s a lot on my plate at the moment!! work, school, sleep, friends, how do we balance this all without spontaneously combusting?! i know it’s possible but i’m not very organised which is never good

got back my results from the biological molecules test, defo didn’t get what i was expecting. BUT only 2 people got Bs and one got an A so i’m not abnormal :’)) i know what it is i have to catch up on so i won’t let this one get me too down.
I have a social influence test in psychology tomorrow, im feeling fairly confident but i need to do a some practise of remembered specific info like names and statistics because they always get me!!!

little update,,, im very stressed at the moment. im coping with my academic subjects but music is really stressing me out - i have four solo songs i have to perfect by around december 20th and record the practise process until then. my fatal flaw is leaving stuff like this til the last minute. however, i can’t do that with 4 songs. i’ve made a little schedule for practise so i hopefully get it done soon, we’re supposed to show one song today but none of mine are ready, idk what i’m gonna do :’)
ps. i have a psychology social influence exam on the 10th so that’s exciting :|

1st was just a quick bio psychology test, as soon as i got it back i knew exactly what i did wrong 🥲🥲
2nd was a pretty tricky biology cell structure knowledge, the one missing mark went to a multi-choice question :///
