her eyes traveled up from her focus on the glass she’d been cleaning the moment she felt the wind enter the bar, the door swinging open, the sound of footsteps closing in as a voice filled the room. “oh bloody hell–” marlene muttered the moment she laid eyes on her. “walburga.” her tone was sharp, setting the glass back down on the bar, freeing her hands in case she needed to pull her wand out from her ear. she had to admit, a perk of being dead was the idea of never seeing that dreadful woman again, and yet her luck never really panned out that way. “they’re called friends, perhaps you should look up the definition since i’m sure you’ve never heard of them before. what’s it matter to you if they are, not like you’ll be having any need to speak to them.”
“Herself.” Walburga only stated, as she stepped closer, sitting in front of the bar as she didn’t look away from the younger witch. “I am only wondering how many of you I will have to crush all over again.” She added as if it was completely normal, and the thing that she was supposed to do. A tilt of her head, and Walburga smiled slightly. “It’s a shame that you are on his side, Marlene. You could do so much better. Too bad you’re a traitor to your own blood.” She let out a sigh. “If your parents had been smarter, they would have raised you correctly. Through pain only comes greatness. I imagine I didn’t cursed Sirius quite enough when he was younger.”

lucifer wasn’t entirely sure why sirius believed him going to this meal was a good idea but it hadn’t taken much convincing. in fact, he was now rather looking forward to it or as much as he could be. at least he would be there if things got out of hand again this time. he had a bottle of wine tucked under his arm as he practically marched up to the front door. the last thing he could be called was shy as he tapped loudly waiting to be let in. “i’m sure your family will love me. my own family doesn’t but they are picky bastar– well maybe my –” realising that he was quickly running off topic and not helping – he pressed his lips tightly together. “well hello.” a grin stretching onto his features as he took a step forward. “oh me? of course me. i’m lucifer. lucifer morningstar. i’m… i’m, well –” his head snapping to sirius. did his family not know? oh well. “we’re together.” stating it proudly as he instantly remembered the bottle of wine, holding it out to the male in front of him. “don’t threat the party has arrived.”
When he had accepted to show up for family dinner, Sirius had immediately known he would need emotional support. It was actually why he had asked Lucifer to come with, and also because it was a great way to introduce him to his family - even though he wanted them out of his life more than anything. “Well, two monsters loving the Devil doesn’t sound like something hard to believe. They’ll probably love the idea of you, except you forgot what I keep telling you Luci, you’re not a bad person. They are.” He ended talking a second before the door opened, and the young man took a deep breath. Not even saying a word, he looked at Lucifer when he felt his eyes on him and only mouthed a few words. “Don’t tell them you’re the Devil.” Somehow, a sigh of relief escaped him when he mentioned they were together. “…Yes. Hello, father. He’s my boyfriend.” Sirius said himself as he looked back at Orion. “You said family dinner, so I’m bringing my family, sounds alright doesn’t it? Anyway.” He entered the house, clearly avoiding to even touch his father, and walked toward the living room. “Hiya mother, your disappointment has arrived. Wand ready to cast some other bloody curses?” He asked with a smile before his eyes landed on Regulus. Staying silent for a second, he just moved closer to him, pulling him closer into a hug. “Hi Reg.”
“No need to call me witch as if it was an insult, darling. It’s pretty much the best thing anyone could be.” Walburga answered her husband, a fake smile appearing on her lips. She didn’t hold back and just followed to the living room, after all she was not going to greet someone she didn’t want in her house. It’s only when she saw that hellspawn get in the living room and touch her son that she reacted, and walked toward the exit of the living room, bumping rather hard into Sirius at the same time to get him to step back. “Welcome in our house, mister Morningstar.” She said with a bright smile, purposefully ignoring Sirius at this point. “Oh, I can perfectly imagine that you indeed are the party.” She said with a rather explicit way of looking at him up and down, before she turned back to her sons. “You. Go make the food, that’s all you’re good for tonight.” She ordered, grabbing Sirius by his shirt and pushing him toward the kitchen. “Anyway, can I serve any drink to anyone else?” Anyone that actually matters, she thought.

Table was ready, the ingredients for the meal as well, and Walburga had just finished to prepare herself, putting on a long, pure white dress to hide how dark her mood truly was. Orion had told her he had invited their sons for dinner, which didn’t please her much for she didn’t want to see the one that she didn’t considered hers no more. However, she was putting on a mask over again, it was the best idea she had. And when she heard a knock at the door, she went to it, a bright smile on her lips. “Hello my sweet boy, come on in.” Her voice was soft for a second, before she turned around to talk to her husband. “Orion! Regulus is here, can you move your ass over here to say hello? And to greet your other pawn because I’m not getting this inside my house by myself.”

Sirius knew it was only a matter of time until he would see his mother again, which he was not so eager about. So when he heard her name, a loud groan of annoyance got out of his mouth as he threw his head back and rolled his eyes. “Well I can’t catch a bloody break now, can I?” He didn’t truly ask, he just wanted to act out as dramatically as possible, just to piss her off as much as he could. “You’re calling me a coward? Well that’s a joke people must hear in their lives. You are calling me a coward. Never looked into a mirror, did ya’?” A disrespectful smile appeared on his lips and Sirius finally let out another loud sigh. “Bloody hell, you really like the sound of your own voice, don’t you, MOM?” He tilted his head. “I’ll let you kill me the day you’ll stop being a bitch, which is clearly not for tomorrow.”
“You’ll catch a break when you deserve it. I’m guessing it won’t be now.” She pointed out with a slight mischievous smile on her lips. Oh, how she liked to piss him off. He was nothing. That was what was important here. He was nothing, and she was everything. She could do anything she wanted, and he wouldn’t even move a finger. “I am not the one who got all of my friends killed now, am I?” She asked with a raise of her eyebrows. “This poor little James and his half-blood bitch, I bet you could’ve saved them if you hadn’t chickened out.” A low laugh got out of her throat. “I prefer the sound of you moaning in pain. Any chance for me to hear it again?”

“You throwing that in the trashcan doesn’t change that we’re going to divorce.” Orion started the conversation immediately while entering the kitchen, slamming the divorce papers against the table. It hadn’t took her long to get him in her grip again, and it pissed Orion off. He should’ve been able to walk away, but she had too much power over him again. He wasn’t going to let her win this time. “And it’s not gonna change that I will keep sleeping on the couch, or that you fucked up. And you fucked up bad. And I still do hate you.” He stated, looking at his soon-to-be ex-wife. “Are you gonna look at me or do I have to have this conversation with the back of your head?” // @videantsemper
Looking through the window, Walburga heard pretty well what her husband was telling her. However, she didn’t care. She was not going to sign, and she wanted to make it clear. A slight laugh escaped her when he mentioned hating her. Who didn’t hate her? It was the question they had to ask, instead of who did. His question got her to turn around however. “Oh it’s gonna change. Are you sure you want to challenge me again, Orion? Don’t you remember what happened last time? Or did the poison destroy the rest of your three brain cells?” She asked with a smile. Taking a step closer, she looked right into his eyes. “I am looking at you. The one who will stay my husband, because I have more power to make him, in the eyes of people he loves, what he is not. And he’s not a traitor now, is he? Or is it really like father like son?”

“OH MY..” She whispered as she walked closer to the bar when seeing this blonde head. She would always recognize the bloody idiots the disappointment had left the family for, and she would always realize it when they were in front of her. After all, they were looking as miserable and as inferior to her than he did. “Isn’t that the murderer’s bitch, or whoever you are supposed to be to that young imbecile? Is the rest of your band of insignificant ants here too?” - @mcrcki

“YOU, again.” Walburga let out a loud sigh of despair at the sight, not quite hiding her annoyance at seeing the one disappointment she wished she had erased from this earth. “You didn’t run away with your tail between your legs, dog? That is surprising coming from a coward like you.” She started, brushing her hair back with her hand slowly.
She hated Sirius. It was probably a lot coming from a mother, but things had happened, had broken every little part of love she could’ve felt for him. Maybe there was some love, locked deep down in her, but he didn’t have the key. “What do you want? If you want me to finish the job, just say the word. I’d be glad to put an end to your miserable life.” - @padfoothearts

Was that [ANGELINA JOLIE]? Oh no no, that was just [WALBURGA BLACK], a [CANON CHARACTER] from [HARRY POTTER]. They are [50] years old and [ARE] aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. Too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.
how long has your character been here, a few months ago. what is your character’s job, she’s a lawyer. where has your character been pulled from in their fandom, she’s set in 1981, after the events of halloween. has any magic affected your character, none.
other information, putting out the same PSA that everything written under the cut was decided with Lena ( @cursedhumanity ), the things about Orion are on her intro however.
Walburga and Orion got married at twenty-two years old. They weren’t in love, didn’t even came close to appreciate each other. Orion was someone she despised and however got forced into a wedding with him, so they tried to make the best of it.
MISCARRIAGE TW, At 25, Walburga got pregnant, but unfortunately lost the baby. It screwed her up, big time, and she kept half of her heart full just for that baby that never was. She called him Cygnus, and imagined him to be the perfect son that she wished she had. It actually got her to be so hard on Sirius, she was expecting him to follow in what she thought Cygnus’ steps were, when really he was never born.
She was the one making the decisions in the family. Orion had nothing to say, and it was just like that. The day Sirius left, she warned him that if he walked out of the door he would never be welcomed back by the family, and when he did it anyway, burnt his name off their family tree to make a point. It actually was the first time Orion and her really fought about something.
MURDER TW, Not happy that her husband got even the bare idea of telling her she was wrong, Walburga planned her revenge for years, attempting to make his life a real hell. In 1978, she finally got sick of him and started poisoning him slowly, causing herself to lose her husband just a few weeks after her only - if you listen to her - son.
Due to talking about it with Sirius’ mun, well Walburga has been here for a few months and did cast the cruciating curse at her son, Sirius, thread that was not with me but that you can find on Max’s blog. However she laid low after that.
Please be aware and remember that Walburga is triggering, would say some things that I do not think myself and that I certainly do not support child abuse, however this is how she was and she can not evolve into a better person in one day. If ever you feel like she is too triggering to you, just let me know and I will make it less so, anything for you to feel comfortable.
