Hi all!,
Today marks a great day, the first day in my life I have written a blog post. I’ve been traveling throughout Vietnam as part of a study abroad program required in my MBA coursework. I came into Vietnam with no expectations and have been amazed so far. I wanted to share this experience with others because when I was doing research on Vietnam’s many tourist destinations, it was hard to get an honest review of them.
Few people from the western countries know about Vietnam and it’s major metropolitan areas (for example I have been living in Hanoi, which has a population of 8 million, only slightly less than New York City). I want to change this stigma and show others that Vietnam is well worth traveling to. I will be posting many pictures of all of the places I have been and doing my best to honestly review them for you all. I will share my travel itinerary with you and tell you what attractions I enjoyed most. Also I wanted to give some tips to guarantee any foreign traveler has a great experience doing these many activities.
For example, here’s a goofy picture of me geared up and ready to ride a moped in Sa Pa, Vietnam to introduce myself.
