@arcvmonth Day 28 Extra Prompt: Doodlebook - Uh Uh Uh!

This isn't basically a fanmade card but instead a fanmade deck, usually for my ocs as a follow-up for Day 28. Look Im not the best at creating a deck archetype but here's the concept of how they work (won't be listing the entire names of each monsters)

Prym Rose (Raya's Deck)

The Prym Rose Archetype are a series of monsters which heavily focuses on quickly Ritual Summoning Prym Rose Celestial Dragon (Raya's Ace) and other Ritual Monsters, either tributing monsters from her or her opponent's field, banishing an Extra Deck monster, or simply banishing a monster from the graveyard. The entire deck is a bit anti-pendulum since half of the monsters, including Prym Rose Celestial Dragon, negates all pendulum effects and instead of sending them to the Extra Deck, it sends them instead to graveyard (excepts Zarc's Deck)

There are certain monsters that allows Ritual Summoning just by tributing them and/or monsters in the field whose level equals or exceeds said Ritual Monster, although it strictly won't use an Ritual Monster as a material

There is one specifc weakness however, and that all can be defeated using the effects or doing battle damage by the Fusion, XYZ, and/or Synchro monsters, but certain spells and/or traps will protect it

Lore: The Prym Rose, or Prymnaris, are a huge King-Arthurian-Style Civilization that are protected underneath the kingdom's main source, The Prymnarite Crystal, serving as a protection barrier from enemies outside the Kingdom's walls. The princess, Joan (Prym Rose Princess Paladdin), doesn't take her position too seriously and instead went on to become the squire of the General Knight, Lance (Prym Rose Advance Nobleman), only to become 5 steps ahead of him and goes into wild misadventures with her friends.

TwinNight Symphonia X (Maria's Deck)

The TwinNight Symphonia X is a musician-themed deck that heavily revolves around Special Summoning level 5 or higher monsters from the deck, hand, or graveyard in order to perform a XYZ summoning, mainly Ibong Adarna The Divine Phoenix of Light (Maria's Ace) by using 3 Level 7 Winged-Beast type monsters and using their effect to return as many cards as possible to the opponents hand and gaining 200x ATK for how many cards the opponent have on their hand. The deck doesn't consist any Rank-Up Spells but instead having to pay LP in order to perform a Rank-Up XYZ Evolution either from the field, discarding a card from hand, or banishing said monster from the Graveyard.

Eris Adarna The Dark Phoenix of Corruption is a difficult card to summon to the field as it requires 4 XYZ materials from the graveyard with the same level (Level 7) in order to perform "Phantom XYZ Summon" though it is also possible using a Spell or Trap.

It's impossible to determine what its weakness is, but it's possible that "Speedroid", "Ancient Gear", "Supreme King", and "Superheavy Samurai's" are its weaknesses but it has yet to be comfirmed

Lore: The TwinNight Symphonia X are a mega-band that tours around the world through their indescribable music. Often paired with the Melodious, Performapals, Perfomages, and Abyss Actors, the band is phenomenal with their perfomances, giving the audiences the show of a lifetime with their melodies.

FINALLY THEY ARRIVED: Raya and Maria!

I've finally made perfect (except Raya's) refs for them after 2 years and due to a long ass art block. These two are apart of an ARC-V AU that I don't have time to even explain on the Day 18 prompt

Raya Sylvester

Full Name: Raya Iryna Rian O'Sylvester

Age: 14-15

Sexuality: Bisexual (is dating Vivien, an OC)

Overview: A fiesty girl with a huge burst of energy, Raya isn't a kid who will not go down without a duel. With expertise knowledge of Ritual Summoning, she was able to perserve her family's legacy ever since she stepped into dueling, ready to share such information to other's who's willing to learn. Despite her absolute knowledge and strength, a part of her wants, or something that's drawing her, to unravel family secrets, mysteries, etc. All the while facing a familial foe.

Trivia:

She's a witch, like, literally a witch that casts spells and all but she's a specific type of witch called an "Arcane". Weak in magical battles, powerful in non-magical battles, usually illusion-based

Was named AFTER a friend of her mother, Ray

Due to the Original Dimension splitting, Zarc, and Ray being split into four, not reviving until later, Raya never got to meet them in person, only hearing them from her mother who used to be a part of said dimension alongside her father, whom was at the hospital due to an accident

Was closest with her father. Basically the reason why she started dueling in the first place

Is an only child, considers Yuzu as her "sister"

Besties with Gong, close friends with Maria and Shingo (a bit unsure abt him), childhood friend of Yuya's tho not as close as before

Unknown where she goes to school. Many (in-universe) speculates she's being homeschooled? Who knows

Overview: With the harmonies in her heart, Maria never fails to impress the audience with her musicianal talent as she riffs her Duel Guitar out in the Action Field. Student st the Leo Duel School, it was her goal to finish off the XYZ course and by the next summer, will eventually drop out and move to another duel school that fits her interest in music. With the help and aid of her ace monster, Ibong Adarna, there's always a chance once she's cornered in a duel.

Trivia:

She has a twin brother (Mariano) and younger twin siblings (Olive and Oliver)

She's as tall as Shun, Kaito, and Reiji but right around 2 inch shorter than them

Maskina, the city she lives in currently, isn't her hometown, it's somewhere else roughly around 6-8 hours to travel there

She works as an intern nurse at the Maskina District Hospital, for family purposes

Her mother left her and her family to work on a boat delivering goods from other countries when she was 10

She's alot more closer to her dad than she is with her mother for 6 years

Huge fan of guitars, owns like 5 of them and half are like gifted to her in her birthdays (didnt use them as much as her Duel Guitar)

AU where Yuma and the SSNIC (Super Secret Number Investigation Club) are stuck in the ARC-V world with no return whatsoever cus this club has a special place in my heart (Was planning this to be a TOH and ARC-V one but too lazy to do so)

Spoiler Alert! Name dropping my OC's name cus my mind said fuck it and just decide to do it anyway

Headcanons:

Would wake up in a random park in Maiami City, not knowing they've been transported out of their world

Probably just kept on searching for Number Cards (not knowing that someone else is now the Number wielder)

All of them would've been amaze at Action Duels but would be disappointed because that means that their Duel Gazers are now useless

Will eventually help and befriend Yuya and the You Show

^ Yuya and Yuma would be chaotic besties. He would definitely teach the SSNIC how to Pendulum Summon

(Astral senses that there's a hidded darkness inside Yuya's heart, thought that he may have a number card, he's 100% wrong)

^ Yuzu, Cathy, and Kotori would hangout as a trio, but made Yuzu the mother since Cathy and Tori won't stop arguing over Yuma, which Yuzu find it to be something stupid (which pisses the two of them even more, but instantly regrets it once Yuzu pulls out her fan)

^ Tetsuo and Gongenzaka would be close friends but Tetsuo would fear Gongenzaka's dueling style (but also admire him in some way)

^ Takashi, Tokunosuke, and Raya would be friends but not that close as the others are

^ All of them would hangout every single day, mostly at the You Show Duel School and help each other out in any way shape or from. From the SSNIC helping the Duel School get more attention and preventing it from being bought out from a big corporation, to the You Show gang helping them and finding more 'Number' cards

100% would be afraid of Yuya's berserk state (except Yuma cus he thinks its cool)

There could be a point where the SSNIC would visit LDS (during Sawatari's introduction), get distracted by the XYZ course and evetually meet Maria, except something's off abt her

^ Yuma would be crying in tears as he misses her so much but in return she would've smack him in the process

^ She would probably be confuse and weirded out since 1. They know her full name, family members, deck archetype, and address and 2. She doesn't have a cousin named Yuma and she doesn't EVEN lived near Heartland nor has she heard of its existence

^ The reason she is creeped out and she doesn't even admit it is that she DOES have a uncle and aunt named Kazuma and Mirai, Mirai was pregnant, but she and Kazuma were killed in one of their expidition, so she's seeing a alive version of her supposed-to-be-cousin-but-is-dead

^ Duels Yuma, won the duel, hears his story, and decides to do something abt it

^ Gets taken in by Maria's family since they're not in their own world, give them some spare rooms, clothes, and duel disks

^ Was trained under Maria's supervision and taught them how to be better duelist (+ taught them how to have fun in duels as well)

^ Would 100% teach them Pendulum and give them Pendulum cards

Due to being trained well with Maria, they would probably join the Lancers as well

Would be the pain in the ass part of the entire Lancers due to arguments (Maria arrived late to babysit them)

Would be hella PISSED to see their home dimension, or a version of it, being destroyed, like fully destroyed. Will get revenge on Academia

The Synchro Arc is like a 50/50 bcus all of them don't know how friendships work (Maria taught them how friendships work, it broke them badly)

Academia Arc would be the WORST of the bunch. They would've taken it ALOT more seriously, especially when they arrive at the Fusion Dimension

Yuma would be the one to duel (alongside with Gongezaka, Maria, Raya, Sylvio, Reiji, and Ray) against Zarc! Yuya since these two are SUPER close and are probably besties back in the Standard Dimension

Second part of the same prompt since there's little context provided there but here's some concepts + an AU I forgot to add in the previous post I have for the last two on the same post but then again, I'm no writer, I just wanted to share stuff

A bit heads up: I will spoil the name of my OCs in this post but the design of them will be out next week

TW: Mention of Scars

The Cards Has Bodies In Them

Rhen Dharmas' origins dated WAY back in the early 1930s, with a farmer from a european village picking up the first ever card of its kind and slowly but surely turns him and the rest of the town into cards

A bit of a fruitshipping moments here and there (Yuzu going absolute bonkers whenever someone tries to harm her "boyfriend" while he's in his draconic form)

The thief could be a minor character from Zexal (either Erazor or that gangster duo Shark used to hangout) or someone entirely new who wanted the Rhen Dharmas to exploit them to win multiple duels

Maria was the one who brought up the entire "Rhen-Dharma" conspiracy, does research abt it, HASNT SLEPT IN DAYS, friends suspect it would be the influence that's driving her crazy, nearly drowned in her brother's bathtub, nearly SLIT HER NECK FOR A SACRIFICE, then was sent to the hospital and she's alright... for now...

Interesting lore drop between a conversation Maria and her ace monster, Ibong Adarna (they/them) have regarding Duel Monsters and their secrets overall

1V2 between the thief and Yuya (in his draconic form) and Maria (OC)

^ An INCREDIBLY intense and brutal duel that Yuya will never forget, even worst than the ones he had faced during the Dimensional War because

^ 1. The monster's effect may inflict damage but the way it did is a bit of a horrific process and 2. If they lose they'll turn into ACTUAL Monster Cards

Sawatari has character development :)

Also Maria bonding with the XYZ gang cus they like her energy + she needs more friends

Raya being sketchy (not in a bad way nor a good way)

Yuya still has nightmares abt losing control & harming his friends whilst hes in his draconic form and fears that those nightmares might come true someday (it did...)

And then he learns to find ways on how to live with it, and learns to accept it as a part of himself, despite his wishes for it to be gone

Duelists in the Backrooms

Maria also learns how to let go of the burden to protect others over herself and also lets herself be more open

Concepts of this AU is being brainstormed over so here's maybe a sneak peak of how it plays out

There are four groups that reside in a specific level in the backrooms: The Lancers (Level 170), The Resistance (Level 20), The "Signers" (Level 11.1), and The Rebellion (Level 179)

There isn't as much duels in this AU unlike TCHBIT, the duels only happen if there's a misunderstanding or disagreement

There's also solo survivors that doesn't join a specific group and/or joins them but just survive independently (i.e Maria, Meiru, Dennis, Michio, and Asuka)

Instead of dying and losing their items, they just restart to a completely different level and their items will be scattered around them once they restart (meaning they're going to be stuck in an endless loop of survival and death)

^ The wounds they have obtain from fighting the entities will also appear as scars

Theres going to be underrated duo moments here and there, some are serious, some are not

Summoning Monsters can also be helpful for combat and transportation but are limited due to certain levels being strict abt said monsters

Zarc and Ray's influence over the Yu-Boys and Bracelets Girls are stronger than in canon

Leo has something to do with all characters being stuck in the backrooms

The characters aged regularly but due to how slow the time in the backrooms are, their bodies ages slowly (in this au)

The Curse That Will Never Be Unfold

The father side of Yuya's family owns a really popular circus, with his father, Yusho, being a ringmaster and him being one of those a daredevil acrobats

His mother is a gang leader (that doesnt terrorize) like in the anime, but instead of retiring from it she continues to help others with her gang

Yuzu is somewhat a badass bard warrior, her main weapon being the violin. Her father, Shuzo, owns a instrument shop and works alongside with Yusho

Raya, Gongenzaka, and Sawatari are somewhat townies (with one of them being secretly a samurai warrior) that soon learned to fight with secret abilities they didnt know exist within them

^ Maria can transform into certain terrains (small terrains) and also animals that may represent, symbolizes, or is connected with nature

Maria is a forest spirit that is under Lethia's mentorship, alongside her twin brother, Mariano, and younger twin siblings, Olive and Oliver

^ Born from the blood of two humans that were received from a cut during their work hours that soon dropped into the leaves, grows out of a giant ass flower, then the couple proceeds to drop one into the water and then BOOM her brother is born out of a seashell

(^ Then they decide to do it again 10 years later then was given the results, a fire and air child...)

Yuto, Ruri, and Shun will accompany the group at some point, with the three of them developing a close bond the group, especially Maria

The Synchro and Fusion squad will appear but idk what their roles are still...

Zarc and Coralline are siblings, with him being the god of destruction and her being the goddess of death, underneath the alias, Morgana

^ Zarc and Ray are still bitter enemies, but over time grew close as Zarc starts to realize that he is not the villain that everyone thought of him was

^ Zarc doesnt have a close relationship with his siblings. He, Virgil, and Carolyn always fights, he and Cora arent really close, and Marilena is deeply afraid of him. He hates to admit it but, he wishes he can spend more time with them but his lust for violence prevents him from doing so

^ Also she fell in love with a human who has secret eldritch magic, in which enrages Zarc, gets teased by Virgil and Carolyn, but Marilena is oblivious to the concept of love (despite being the goddess of love herself lmao)

Cora and Maria are besties secretly, neither of their friend group (minus Cora's) knows abt it

Look, I'm a sucker for AUs, especially when it comes to Arc-V so I've got plenty of aus revolving around this silly show, but I'm going to show a few favorite of mine

Side Note: Sorry for the horrid spelling and grammars, english is not my first language and for the most part, the cringey ass AUs I have in mind and I am 100% not a writer, just me sharing some AUs :) but I appreciate it if someone made fanart or fanfic abt :')

Two Worlds Apart AU

Premise: When a group of researchers receives a mission from their (now deceased) commander, they nestled their based in a planet full of wonders and mysteries, meeting new faces, teaching them the way of their people as they try and attempt to find figments of their past and live together with the locals.

Basically Magical Fantasy (Arc-V crew bcus all aus that surrounds this series has been magical fantasy) meets Sci-Fi (aka crossover with my original story, A Prismarine Story), or at least how I interperet it

Theres going to be cosmic horror thats lurking in the background and basically the reason why the APS group are satelliting the planet the Arc-V group are living in

The Cards Has Bodies In Them

Premise: A mysterious deck has recently been re-surfaced and was brought in by the local city museum in Maiami City with legends surrounding it as the "Flesh Deck", with how brutal its effect damage is to its opponents. Despite being heavily contained in a vault before its initial public debut, a thief manages to steal such treasure to use it in the Arc League Championship, but such a shameless act would cause the thief his own life and body.

Yuya had recently recovered from all of the Zarc Stuff, or that's what his best friends called it, and is adjusting to a new life back in Maiami City. Before things took a more sinister turn as he discovers an old yet dangerous deck.

Inspired by Vita Carnis and Jonh Carpenter's The Thing cus it fits the fleshy-theme here :)

The first idea that has popped up to my head was, "What if there's a deck that inflict effect damage but instead of using magic nor tech from the monsters, it inflict alien-thing-like damage? Like it actually sucks out your flesh and turns you into a monster card?" I call them the "Rhen-Dharmas" (couldnt think of a better name lmao)

The thief in question is NOT Yuri, Leo, Roget, or the Doktor, it is someone new

And the last thing was it should be presented in an analog horror style

The Curse That Will Never Be Unfold

Premise: A young boy from a small village was cursed by the God of Destruction himself after failing to bring joy to the audience, who thirst for brutal and violent acts. Because of this, in times of desperation, the boy will transform into a hideous beast capable of ending a human's life away with little control whatsoever. With little time left before he'll forever live with it, the boy must find the God of Destruction's sister in order for his curse to be gone, or should he?

Inspired by @1apple-fox1's Rage and Regret AU

Another crossover AU of APS and Arc-V (cus the main character of APS, Coralline, is inspired by Yuya and Zarc's design and powers lol)

Demon!Yuya centric, there's going to be moments of Yuzu going ballistic over her (definitely not/j) boyfriend cus people want to kill him for being a demon with no reasons or second thoughts, and forest spirit (Spoiler Alert! OC name drop?) Maria being a menace

It is all Hurt/Comfort here and there

I get this feeling that out of the three Arclights, it's not actually Thomas that stays who stays mad about things for the longest (or can be just really petty with you if you're on his bad side). Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think that Michael is easily the most highest-strung of them all, and here is why.

Christopher is the eldest - you know, wise one, shoulder to lean on, someone who's had to be patient for way too long and forget his own desires early on to keep the younger ones happy? Sounds about right? He's too weary to carry on with a feud that he does not instigate 99% of the time (we all know Thomas deserves whatever's coming to him that 1%).

Thomas is that special breed of human that is the middle child of the family - as a result he is definitely experienced in starting fights, pinning the blame on someone else and giving the silent treatment for a day until it works otherwise for his interests. But just like that, he's also used to that kind of discord and constantly being at battle with his brothers, and so if he gets into a fight with you he'll be over it by tomorrow and will be complaining about how his father nitpicks over everything he does as opposed to Chris.

Michael is the youngest child, so he's clearly had some attention - at least when he was younger. It seems pretty clear he's had a lot of attention from Chris (until he went to the orphanage) and he probably got even more attention when they all reunited. This probably means he's a bit softer because he's had that gentleness from Chris growing up (and it's part of his nature too). So this contributes to what probably appears to be naivety on the surface. Because Michael cares a lot about people, he invests a lot of time and feeling into them, so if you get into a fight with him, he will easily escalate it much further than Thomas would. Thomas is used to picking fights, after all. It's second nature for him. Michael will be used to Thomas's fighting with him, because they're siblings - but he doesn't like the fights. He dismisses them because he loves Thomas, who's his brother, after all. But if he feuds with you, it will be entirely different, and get out of hand very quickly. He would feel betrayed, because he knows how much he tries to be good and kind and just patient in general and put people first, so for someone to mess him around like that, it's just unacceptable. Like, 'don't you know how hard I try? Do you even realise how much I deal with and say nothing about? Do you want to fight me? Because I want to fight you'.

Michael post-breakup would be particularly awful. He would be extremely cold and distant, not least because you're a villain in his eyes for breaking his heart. He'll always be snooty and aloof and unapproachable to forever make you regret ever meeting him.

He is easily the scariest brother out of the three Arclights.

I had a Lil dream where yuya and yuzu r in a tag duel tourney where they have to switch decks... so melodious yuya and entermate/performapal yuzu!! And they make up their own summon chants for each other's aces and get all excited when they manage to summon em... and they both try to do something different with their entertainment dueling as opposed to usual... like yuzu tries to take a more "yuya-like" angle while yuya basically taps into his inner theater kid and takes a more.. musical kinda angle if that makes sense.... idk it's cute

I think yuya would likeee.... sing the summon chants for yuzu's aces.. just a thought

Imagine this; Yuzu having a Raine Whispers-esque strategy? Especially in episode 125;

Instead of succumbing to the doktor's parasites (fuck that guy honestly), she was instead broken free like how Yuya did, but still pretended to be infected since she would still get fucked over by Academia

After Yuya's been caged up, Yuzu dueled the doktor, defeated him, took the antidote and frees Ruri, Serena, and Rin, but they still got captured and taken to the transfer pot Leo was using to revive Ray

Yuzu came back, Yuya have happy tears streaming down his face, and says; "Yuzu! I thought I had lost you again, but, how did you break yourself free from the Doktor's control?" and Yuzu's like, shrugs and replied with; "Idk, but I am able to put an act there didn't I?" and Yuya just falls in love with her more than she is with him
