I did it. After a lifetime of using light mode on all my devices, I switched to dark mode. My eyes just can’t take it anymore, and after a few days of using it, I decided dark mode was actually kind of cozy and nice. So it was time to update my light mode art with a new version!

Controversial take here, but Charles is as much a product of his time as Edwin is. I’ve seen people say that his argument with Crystal in the case of the two dead dragons is “out of character” and no? It’s not? Charles very much has this idea of himself as a lad’s lad. It’s partially why he’s attached to the idea of being like Brad and Hunter. He spent all his time with a bunch of jocks growing up, of course he saw himself in them, of course he picked up some of their toxic masculinity. And yeah, I fully acknowledge that Charles died because he stood up for a Pakistani boy, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t play off some of their less explicit bigotry with a laugh, especially in regards to women. Charles is largely defined by his desire to keep the peace after all, and he tends to see the best in people because of that.

I mean, what’s more likely? That this group of boys from the 1980s never made a single homophobic/misogynistic comment in front of Charles, or that he grinned awkwardly through most of their boys will be boys bullshit until they took it too far. There’s a reason Charles doesn’t clock Edwin on the hysteria comment, and it’s because he doesn’t know better either.

Very Silly Concept: a show called "Accessibility Nightmares" but it's structured exactly like Kitchen Nightmares. An accessibility specialist goes to different establishments and helps them make their businesses more accessible.

The accessibility specialist asks why the door at the top of the small set of stairs has a wheelchair symbol on it. The owner replies that's the accessible bathroom. The camera zooms in on the specialist as they process this information.

I think that the most important part about Colm Fahey's character is the one that people ignore, and that is that Colm completely fucked Jesper up. He is a loving father, he wants nothing but the very best for his son, he has faced awful loss and is incredibly patient, even when he doesn't have to be. And he still ruined Jesper. His own fears and grief was projected onto his son. The love he held for Jesper is what ruined him. People forget that yes, Aditi's loss was horrific for Jesper, it destroyed him and set him on a destructive path, but Colm is the one that kept him walking on that path, instead of turning him around. Jesper doesn't hate being Zowa because of his mother's death, he hates it because of Colm's influence. He didn't feel safe to come home when his gambling got bad. Jesper and his father are very, very much the Ted Lasso conversation of; "Thank you, and fuck you."

We love Colm. Jesper loves Colm. I love Colm, so so much. He still ruined his son.
