Please add Nya or give her her own band!! I love band AUs and I swear I’ve read numerous abandoned ones where she’s relegated to manager or admin person for them and it’s just so frustrating to see her shoved back to person who does all the work and gets 0 credit. It’s so sad to see her back to unappreciated and ignored like season 1 while the boys have all the fun.

Absolutely! Your Jay was my inspiration. I had to stop myself from writing a whole long story when I was commenting on your most recent chapter.

… when I’m commenting on a fic and suddenly have another whole nother story idea that I’ll probably never be able to write…

So what if Jay gets his memories back, but doesn’t unshatter his soul… He remembers being raised by parents with no boundaries and almost obsessive love for each other and for him. He remembers the girl the ice cavern told him was his. Doing things like turning back time to bring her back to life. Going crazy without her. The NEED to have her around without the fluffy affection.

So what if shattered Rogue/Jay saw Nya earlier while bounty hunting and went all crazy obsessive stalker on her?

Chapter 3 is out now!

I finally get to introduce a new POV, P.I.X.A.L.’s, since she gets *emotions* in this chapter. 

And even though it is titled “An Idiotic Love Triangle,” I promise there is not going to be a love triangle in this fic. It’s mostly just Jay jumping to conclusions, and poking fun at the subplot of the actual season 3 that most people love to hate. 

This chapter ends kind of dramatic, but this version of Jay would never hurt Nya, and they both have some growing to do in the rest of this fic.

@highbookwormofthecentury I’m still poking around with the plot, this is a rough chunk of the first scene.

Poking around with my out of the SeaWalker fic...

It was a good day. Well, as good as a day working at the Administration could be. All of Agent Walker’s annoying staff in the Department of Realm Reassignment was off at some training inservice that managers like him didn’t have to go to. These sessions were inevitably too long, too boring, and too useless. He had peace and quiet; the whole unit to himself. 

The only downside was that poor planning or a screwed up form by someone (him? nah) led to his whole staff taking the training at once instead of one or two of them being left to run the relocation portal. So instead of working quietly in his office (on the next level of prime empire - the speedway 5 billion was proving to be a harder race than expected), he was out running the portal. At least it was a slow day. Most of the agents assigned to collect people displaced by the merge must have been sent to training too. Agent Walker was contemplating whether he could watch the line from his office while playing when it brought him someone. 

Not just anyone. A woman. A goddess. Alone. So captivating that he found himself staring. She was tall. Slender but he had the vague idea she’d be deceptively strong. Where did that idea come from? A long ponytail rested over her shoulder. The hair framing her face was black, but her wavy ponytail somehow slowly shifted colour until the soft curl at the bottom was a pale watery blue. When she turned her head and looked at him, her eyes were the same shade.  Ethereal or eerie, he wasn’t sure. Her gaze held his as if by magic, his heart pounding in his chest. He eventually realized that he was holding his breath and tore his eyes away, gasping. 

Her clothing caught his attention next. Or rather, her lack thereof. Whatever she had on when an agent found her, it must not have been much. Someone had deemed it worth the paperwork for being out of dress code to give her his dress shirt. Long sleeves were rolled up past her forearms, and the tail of the shirt hung to mid thigh front and back, higher on the sides. Her bare skin was pale, like she hadn’t seen the sun in years. (Was there a realm with no light?) Even paler were faint, blue tinged swirls, like waves. Was she born like that or were they some strange (beautiful) form of tattoo? Scars? Did she have them everywhere? The way the faint swirl traveled down her neck past the edge of the collar as well as up her legs made him think she did. 

He was moving towards her before he even realized it. Was she magnetic? The stray thought that she must like blue made him smile. Where did that come from? He shook his head to clear his errant thoughts. Work, focus on work. 

“Do you know which realm you belong in, miss?” he asked, his voice cutting through the silence.

What if the yin-yang promise is more than just symbolic? “We’re one now.”

What if the reason Jay was so very messed up (psychotic?) after Seabound was that half of his soul was in the sea? (Not that he isn’t justified in cracking up when the person he was planning his whole future with is suddenly gone.)

I can’t decide what that would mean for his shattered soul. There’s the Disney-esque true love’s kiss putting their two halves back together could heal him…

Or to go darker, what if proximity to his shattered half slowly caused hers to crack?

Yeah, so how about evil Jaya/Rogya?
