I like to think he prefers to keep it tidy with a clean cut and shaves almost everyday to keep the look, but sometimes he is too busy or tired to do so, either chasing MF trough the ocean or deep in paperwork or something similar. He is very fun to draw and also i love ear-fins tee-hee anyway, for you anon <3

Overall my experience with that service was great.

You're very welcome. Your post got recommended to me on my dash and it just tickled my love to analyze. And since I actually never analyzed this part of Walter I just gave it a go. 😊 One day I shall write and post an analysis about the relationships between him and the other characters. It's very interesting too. In particular Alucard and Integra, where sadly many Hellsing fans missinterpret a lot.

And yes, Hirano is one of those mangaka who changes his mind all the time and goes whatever he feels like with at the current moment. Hence why Walter's betrayal got so many plotholes which bother me to no end. lol

Also mangaka are humans and humans do make mistakes. That's one reason why I often remind to take everything with a grain of salt.

We as fans can only take puzzle pieces and try to connect them to get the picture. But very often the picture still will have holes which can't be filled, but it still is fun to do so. I just love to put the pieces together so that it actually makes sense and could be possible strictly based on facts. And while I'm only human as well I can do mistakes too. But hey, being in a fandom also means to interact with each other and sometimes there will be input you never have thought about before. ^^

Can any Walter fans help me with this one? 😞 I always have this memory of reading at one point that Walter wears a monocle because his eye and head were injuried during one fight when he is older. It would make sense because if you look at that eye, it’s almost lazy and droopy but it could also be just the art style! This appears to be so both in the manga and ova. Even on a cover from a manga when the monocle is off, that eye is completely shut. Does someone else ever heard or read about this? If not at least let me know if these are just my delusions so I don’t spread misinformation!
