Who was Sergio exactly? And have he ever been shown I'm some game?

Ah, another character that's hard to pin down. Sergio is a character who was conceived in the early days it seems, but honestly never got the opportunity to shine in any game. There were plans here and there I think (I don't know if they exist anymore, but there might have been sprite artwork at one point). He WAS going to be in the Dollmaker game as someone who...wasn't so nice. Bad history with Akira (I think more of Akira might have been afraid of him). Might have been military? But for one reason or another they decided against using Sergio. I think...we'll never quite know if or why since Dollmaker never got past the demo/beta we have.

He was definitely going to show up in Rockland somewhere. In fact, I booted up the version 1.7 of Rumors of Rockland and Callum gives you a small tidbit. The guy owns the Cigar Bar, a nice lounge that a lot of the organized crime/iIish mafia folks hang around. Callum was funny how casual he'd talk about rather alarming things XD

I also remember he was I think the older brother to a newer character, Oz Morrison. Oz was a pilot I know. They both MIGHT have had their fingers in the black market, but I can't be sure if that's true.

Awww that's sweet! Glad I could help. Thank YOU for all the work you've done putting everything together. That is a colossal effort. My stuff's just left over from the heydays. And good to hear there's yet another source to find stuff. It's all fun finding the artwork again especially.

I got a bit confused with the timeline, what was canon at the end? What was changed and confirmed? Which games were connected - aka in the same universe or am I totally tripping?

Hi there! Sorry again for the absence. It's just how I am with tumblr. Quite a big question XD Yeah some things were getting retconned, some stuff stood on its own and other stuff was eventually going to be connected. Okay...let's see if I can simplify what I know.

Don't know much about "Empire" other that it may have been the creator's first stand alone project? Not sure if before, after or simultaneous as BTD. I think a version of Akira was in it, but otherwise that got scrapped. Next you got BTD and BTD2. Connected to each other but mostly stand alone horror dating parodies. Real introduction of Sano, Akira/Vincent, and Cain.

Huntress and Route 66 were online mini light novels connected to the BTD stuff. TDDUP was for the most part a stand alone project. Introduced Chris, Marcus and Jack. BUT, I think it was possible some of the characters were going to be integrated into Rockland eventually because... Mark of Belial was something in production that was going to 100% have Jack. Got scrapped/paused at one point but was in the works to try to rework it again once further into the Rockland stuff. Dollmaker was a retcon of the BTD story. Standalone I believe dealing with Akira and Sano (there was back and forth on what other characters would be included). I am not sure if Sano and Akira would eventually be included in the Rockland Universe.

Zeitgeist was a retcon of Cain's story. THIS was definitely going to link with the Rockland universe as a snippet of the supernatural side (though the majority of the Rockland Universe would focus more on the humans the majority of the time).

The Rockland Universe of course was going to have a bunch of stuff linked together. Let's see, you got the Misfits, Rumors of Rockland, think there was going to be a Carnival game, and again Mark of Belial thrown somewhere in there. I think that covers the majority. Sorry trying to remember all the stuff that was going to go into Rockland, but even a lot of that would change at times.

Was fun to watch the development at least.

Well thank you very much. I come back to this blog every now and then to remember the fun I had with the content. I'm glad other people still get some enjoyment out of it as well. Hey <3 just curious, maybe you remember something maybe not, but... was there any information about Cain's son Enoch Zeitgeist back in the days? Any art, concept and etc

Hey, sorry for the delay. Not a shred sadly :( Shame because I liked his design. All I can remember was he was very different from Cain (a lot meeker, more library type). I believe his mother was revealed as one point to be an angel (or fallen angel I guess in the Rockland verse) named Raphael (I just found an image of "Raphael" but it's a dude. Not sure if the character was female at one point or I legitimately have the wrong name, sorry). I don't think Cain was every considered an "exclusive" character when it came to relationships (as in, I don't think they were married necessarily- a lot of the Rockland characters were also poly). Would have liked to see his relationships with the other angels or reapers expanded on in Zeitgeist (maybe even seen Enoch). Kid had black hair, but I can't remember if he had smokey wings or if I'm thinking of a different character. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Hello. Sorry for the long delay. And don't worry, this is a very quiet blog that people just browse casually nowadays. So I'm not flooded with anything :P Especially with my frequent periods of absence.

Sadly, this is another thing I'm kicking myself for not archiving. Especially since a lot of the Patreon thoughts I shared now don't have the context behind them. I of course never shared anything on my blog directly regarding scripts or artwork because that would have hindered the purpose of the Patreon. The creators were kind enough to allow me to comment publicly though since they just enjoyed the budding excitement I had, haha. I deliberately did not copy anything so that I wouldn't get in trouble. Which comes back to bite me now. I've done some digging and sadly I can only find 3 images that I THINK originally might have come from Patreon? But I might have them because they were eventually posted on the blog. I actually found more than these, but I'll dump the rest in another post in a little bit.

Mostly Cain old designs (and then one with his iconic red hair). Others also old designs from Left to right: Priest (I forget right now, but name started I think with an "R"), Damien, Cain, and Sam.

Good afternoon! I was browsing your blog looking for various Electricpuke drawings, and I wanted to ask, do you have any archive of drawings? Do you have any ideas about Zeitgeist? (I apologize for the incorrect spelling and mistakes, I am not an English-speaking person)

Hello there! Sorry for the late answer, I don't frequent tumblr as much as I used to. And don't worry, your spelling was fantastic! I make too many grammar errors myself despite being an english speaker, haha. Surprisingly I never made a specific archive for the drawings, which I'm really regretting now. Both on my main blog and this blog, I didn't reblog as much artwork as I thought I did. Part of it was me being picky, and part of it was just...well I didn't want to basically mimic the creator by reblogging EVERY single piece of artwork. My mentality was always "if I want to browse through a bunch of their artwork, I'll just look through their blog, not mine." Unfortunately, that's no longer an option. Poor planning on my behalf. I've written a lot of my Zeitgeist thoughts here and then. If I try to recall and condense my thoughts into what I THINK it was going to be: Starts as Cain kidnapping the MC and possibly pretending he's antagonistic at first but we slowly learn he's not entirely malicious. I kept envisioning a kind of "Phantom of the Opera" or Jareth from "Labyrinth" kind of situation for some reason. Would have learned more about the Fallen Angels and Reaper roles in the Rockland universe and been introduced to other higher deity characters that wouldn't get to be focused on in other games (like Sam). The focus would have still mainly been on the relationship between Cain and the MC, but what that transformed into probably depended on the choices of the player. Sorry if that's not a lot. Wish I knew what some of the endings would have been. Might have helped to piece together what could have happened in between.

I did go to double-check this, but I believe the 1.0 that I've linked on this tumblr page is indeed the latest and only version. I think maybe there were mentions of excerpts or edits going to happen to it (if it was on the old Patreon, those are lost now), including new character designs. But no official second version ended up getting made. So sorry, the Rumors of Rockland version I just posted, the Nightmare Realized storybit and the 1.0 Misfits game was all that is left for Rockland :(

You're right! I never realized that I didn't actually have the most recent file uploaded to this site. That's my bad. can you explain please who sergio is, who vincents father is/if its his actual dad he mentions in btd2, and how akira became vincent if thats still canon?? sorry i got here late and im scrambling for info :/

I answered this a little on my main blog too, but I'll answer it here as well :) Sorry this is so late. Just a warning, I don't frequent tumblr as often nowadays. People are more than welcome to ask things, but I may not realize I have an ask for quite awhile. My apologies ahead of time. Sergio's backstory kept changing, so I can't give you a clear concise answer. As part of the Dollmaker game, I think he was either a past lover or commander of Akira's (possibly abusive). The Rockland series, I believe he was being reshaped as part of the black marker or something (not sure anything to do with Vincent or Akira since we never got to a point to see if they'd pop up in Rockland at all). In the Dollmaker universe, I don't know if there was going to be a remake of BTD2 Vincent story. SUPPOSEDLY, the backstory of Akira joining the army/special unit, getting attacked by werewolves and changed, developing amnesia because of the incident, and essentially becoming Vincent would still be canon. But I don't think we'll ever know 0.o

Hey there! Sorry for the late response. Ah, I remember Devil's Night Carnival. I don't believe it ever progressed into the stage of having a demo though. I can only vaguely remember some artwork. So sorry, nothing there I can help with. Viral...that's actually the first time I've heard anyone mention that. That could have been either before the Code:Zero demo stuff (so well before I came across their material) or part of all that stuff somehow and I just can't remember. Either way, I also got nothing for you. Sorry :(

Hey there, sorry I'm not very tumblr active these days. Just have other interests right now. I check every once in awhile to make sure I don't have a questions in my inbox, but yeah that's why I don't always give an immediate response. Not as far as I'm concerned? I've never actually checked though. Sadly I also am completely inept when it comes to the concept of recording ANYTHING to then upload to youtube. Not that tech savy myself. Sorry I can't be much more help :(
