“hey, if your skills are so great than you shouldn’t need to keep building up your own ego. no one cares.” knowing it was rude, she still let the words slip out. a bad day ― a bad week, really ― left her feeling bitter and annoyed and pissed at every little thing around her. it wasn’t like her to undermine other people, maybe an eyeroll at best, but she already tried about a billion eye rolls, sighs, distant gazes, and one word responses. 

hearing him mutter to his friend that had showed up for a brief moment that she was playing hard to get, but was totally into him, had been the last straw. okay, the last straw was when he started flexing in front of her, as if she hadn’t seen muscles 100x bigger than that tiny thing, but the point still stood.

and yet, a half-apology was given. she could tell he was lonely, his girlfriend had only just broken up with him, and her common brown hair was probably a good enough similarity in his drunk mind. maybe her disinterested attitude was a reminder, too. ouch.

“i’ve had a pretty rough day, sorry. i didn’t mean to lash out on you. either way, i have to leave now. i’m leaving tomorrow morning, so it’s not like anything between us would have worked out.” she gave only half of a grin, eyebrows barely shifting into a more sympathetic expression.

“but that girl in the corner has been looking your way all night. i think she’d like it if you talked to her, tell her i’m your cousin or something. night.”

tenativily, rin approached the raging girl with barely audible steps. a warning, to some, but also a peace offering ― i'm a shinobi, but i'm letting you know i am here. ― she could only hope the message was delivered. the figure was so small, and looked so very fragile laying on the ground as she was. rin knew it could very easily be a trap, but... there were no other signs of current life, and the bright red hair looked so eerily similar to someone else she had once known.

"hey... are you okay? i have medical training. i can help you." she crouched down, keeping a distance from the redhead that rin wouldn't have even bothered with when she was younger. she knew better now, though. or at least that's what she liked to think.

"i can tell you're a shinobi, too. i know you won't trust me, but you don't have to. just tell me what happened and i can tell you what to do to get better."

not that she could perform medical jutsu either way, but it was easier to say this than admit that. the girl would feel more comfortable fixing herself, anyway.

one hundred percent start illustrating personal use icons &. backgrounds for blog customization as well as eventual rp usage.

play around with some ideas regarding text format &. try to solidify tags + tags page.

illustrate or edit a promo for launch usage.

GENERAL LIST OF VERSES. a suggestion, really, to try and settle for a main one. or not.

check mobile theme &. app for confirmation on... personal liking, suitability, accesibility, stability.
