my take on why Henry pulls away when Hans kisses him:

he is just canonically stupid.

it's the same as the time Theresa took him to a bar, took him dancing, walked him home, and then kissed him. and he's like, "🧐? why she kiss me".

they have been courting for weeks and when she kisses him after a date, he's scratching his head (which is empty). takes him a minute to figure out "😲☝️Henry Theresa courtship + Theresa kiss me = Theresa likes me". has a literal "oh. oh." moment over it. then he still has to look around like "silly Theresa did she mistake me for someone else? let me look around for the actual person she meant to kiss"

so when Henry breaks away from Hans' kiss and makes that scrunched face, it's his 1 braincell overclocking struggling to figure out why his lord is smooching him. when he's at the door is the "oh. oh." moment when that poor little braincell finally catches up that "aha, hans smooch me because I have been telling him for weeks that I like him and he likes me back 🤓 the story he just told me about the 2 knights smooching wasn't just a bedtime story it was an allegory about us smooching 🤓 "
