i’ve simplified my august spreads to be more functional because i need to start prepping for my second year at uni. i’m also happy because this summer i started painting for myself again!! i haven’t done that in a really long time, and i forgot how fun and calming it can be.

100 Days of Productivity x3 - Day 55/100 July 17, 2018

Today certainly wasn’t as productive as yesterday’s eight hours, haha! I worked on cutting down my SOR essay and reading through ancient history articles for note taking. It was good to have a more relaxed day!

I’ll be up early tomorrow to get through as much of advanced English note taking as I can. Have a good day!

23/6- Day 6/100 days of productivity

Honestly I’m proud of myself for not waiting until the last minute to cram for my EMT test, especially with how busy I’ve been recently. It’s been a long time since I’ve read all the chapters before the test. I think I’m getting my motivation back after a long dry spell but I’m holding my breathe that it’s gonna go away. All I can do is make the most of it while it’s here and take care of myself on my bad days. ☺️ Sending you guys a little extra inspiration today!

[a few of my favourite things] • 28/02/17

In an attempt to stay positive in the midst of some not-so-great times and a bout of exam-period anxiety, I’m channelling my inner Fraulein Maria and reminding myself of my favourite things in the bad times (some of these are more superficial than others - actually never mind, they’re all pretty superficial). These are a few of my favourite things:

my phone, which is nice but actually isn’t working at the moment so I can’t use it

a half-burned candle that I couldn’t be bothered to light just for a photo (go figure, considering I staged the rest of this photo) but it smells nice and looks nice

my watch, which I literally wear everywhere I go

my laptop, which I depend on even more than the aforementioned watch

a cute pen that has featured in basically every other picture before this

a super warm chunky knit cardigan which doubles as an aesthetic throw blanket of sorts (just for the ’gram!)

and last but not least, one of my favourite feel-good books because (heaven forbid) it’s one of those fluffy trashy romances - if you look closely (or maybe not because of my terrible phone camera quality) you can read about my #1 fictional crush who I legitimately am in love with. I am in love with him to the point where if he somehow broke the fourth wall and jumped off the pages of this book into real life, I would marry him in an instant.

I’m satisfied with my marketing notes this time around hehe, and I am loving the post-its. I usually don’t buy Post-It brand sticky notes cos there’s usually some cheaper alternatives, but they are working so greatly! They stick so well but not in a super sticky way, so much so I sound like a sponsored ad. 

I woke up nauseous today and ended up skipping my lecture for the first time ever (but only because I knew it the class would only be half an hour) in my entire year of being in uni. Hope everyone is doing better than I am :’)

25/03/2018 ; 67 / 100 days of productivity : i’ve been using last year’s note cards to make more question-based flashcards for revision. next week is the last week before spring break and i can’t wait to get into full swing of revision.

25/100 - 100 Days of Productivity 24/03/18 Hello! Today I wasn’t very productive in terms of school work but I was productive in everything else. I tidied around the house, I posted a blog post (check it out if yoi haven’t already ;) heheh) and I even made apple crumble, which was DElicious. How was your day? Byeee

Another post from yesterday, because I like this picture too. We had to watch Life of Pi in philosophy because our lecturer lost his voice, and we have to write a reflection for extra cred. Have y’all watched it before? Thoughts? Also, a milk and honey summary on the side for my radio show today (I talk about books).
