Wild eyes scanned about for that stupid red ball. They wanted it dead, she wanted to kill anything that moved. It was a fair trade off, as the thing would end up dead. As she entered the cafeteria, the little ball was there, with someone she swore was familiar somehow.

But she had to do it, and quickly if she didn't want the damn thing to get away.

“DIEEEEEEEEEEE!”

She screeched, trying to pounce on the ball and ignoring Zero for the time being. Her eyes were red, flames on her tail burning brightly.

There’s a moment of silence before Lily calmly starts collecting her belongings, Eyes conveying the slightest hint of hurt and shock. 

“If you really felt that way about me, then you should have told me sooner. I would have been long gone by now.”

There is no emotion in her voice. Every word was cold and robotic as she picked up her bag.

“Tell Axl I’ll be at the usual hideout.”

She was very much confused by the first part of that sentence, mostly the dead part of it, but regardless somewhat ignored it as she continued on. “I’m fine with that, do you have any nicknames I can call you so I don’t end up having to just call you by.. ‘you’?” 

Electra was still smiling, not at all minding the fact that she had no idea what the others name was, and didn’t press on because she understood confidential stuff is well.. confidential. “Oh yea- I’m Electra by the way, nice to meetcha!” 

“The name’s Lily. Can’t say much about why I’m here other than Zero being a asswipe.”

A playful smirk slowly spread across her face. Her fangs now easily visible, she gave a curt nod at Electra before continuing.

“Nice to meetcha too I guess.”

TXT:batgirl: Axl how the FUCK do people SOCIALIZE?

TXT:gunnerboi: Why do you think I’m the one with an answer? 

TXT:gunnerboi: I’m just as under socialized as you. 

TXT:batgirl: Axl you dumbass. You got here before I did, so you have more socialization than me. THATS WHY IM ASKING!!!

TXT:gunnerboi: Dude I still dont know how ta talk to people

An annoyed sigh escaped Lily’s lips as she massaged her head to thwart an oncoming headache.

TXT:batgirl: And this is why we have so many problems

What is Lily's opinion of dragons?

"To be honest, dragon Reploids aren't a common thing that you see every day. Most reploids with a draconic motif are likely part of some special unit, like Magma Dragoon. I honestly have nothin against dragons, but I don't have a lot of experience dealing with em' either."

She sighs, taking a sip from her glass of fireball whiskey before continuing.

"I hope that answered yer question, whoever you are."

Thankfully for Lily, she is very much a master at small talk and conversation, well, atleast her own type of conversation, which normally involves a ton of bubbly emotions and casual talk. Her hands would return to her side once Lily looked to her. 

Electra would grin after taking a split second to respond, she hoped she didn’t interrupt anything important, but she couldn’t help herself because she loves making new friends and that normally overwrites whatever semblance of logic she has. 

“Oh! I was just wondering who you were, I don’t believe I’ve seen you around the base before?” 

Her high pitched voice was absolutely radiating happiness and cheer, something you could hear from a cheerleader or a motivational speaker. She definitely looked the type to either, although. 

Lily gave a shrug as she looked at the friendly reploid. 

“Well, I’m someone that should’ve been dead ages ago for one thing, but I’m under the Hunter’s protection at the moment. That’s all I can really say at the moment without going into confidential territory.”

TXT: batgirl: I think I just made a friend????

TXT:gunnerboi: *spits out coffee* Wait seriously?!

TXT:batgirl: did you actually spit out your coffee right now? 

TXT:gunnerboi: well, yeah. But that’s not important. Sure, Zero’s looking at me like I just went maverick but...

TXT:batgirl: You should tell him you’re IMing me. At least that would make X stop wanting to send you down to med bay again. 

TXT:gunnerboi: Alright they know now. Sooooooo anyways whats the reploid like?

TXT:batgirl: Sunny with a side of molten magma.

TXT:gunnerboi: Wait what?

TXT: Happy-go-lucky and friendly is the better term I guess.

Electra was very much bored from her current situation of having basically nothing to do, and no one to talk too. She had been placed on navigating some other hunters earlier in the day, but unfortunately they have yet to actually arrive to the field, and for once she is getting really impatient. 

She was getting huffy, very huffy but aside from that her slight agitation wasn’t really apparent given her nature. With an inaudible groan, the girl would shift herself and turn her chair around to look into the direction of the other navigators and hunters in the area, only to find quite the normal amount of both. 

It took her a few moments to actually notice Lily, but once she did her eyes practically locked onto the other reploid and she decided to get up and walk over, unaware that the other was busy. Lilies armor was very unfamiliar to her, so she assumed that the girl was new around here. 

This girl loved to try to interact with reploids she doesn’t know, especially hunters and navigators, and from what she saw, or thought, Lily was one as well and that peaked her interest. She would go to try to make contact- by tapping the others shoulder! 

Luckily, the two were very similar in height, so she didn’t have to worry about standing on her ‘toes’ to actually tap the other there.  “Hello?” 

TXT:gunnerboi: Give it some time, lil we all know how antsy you are when it comes to waiting.

TXT:batgirl: It’s not the waiting that’s the problem, Axl. It’s the fact that I feel like a fucking criminal when I have to be escorted everywhere. Isn’t there some way to issue a temporary ID until the whole issue with that program blows over?

TXT:gunnerboi: Hmmm... That’s a good idea. I’ll run it past Signas and let you know what he says.

A sudden light pressure on her shoulder made her minimize the chat, eyes squinting to focus on the world around her again. She had visibly flinched at the touch but relaxed when she saw the face of a reploid her size. She looked to be a navigator, a very friendly one at that. 

Hopefully, she was a decent conversationalist. The boredom was going to drive Lily crazy sooner or later.

“Can I help ya, miss?” 

Her tone was somewhat bored and unemotional, but that could have been Lily’s tiredness talking.

Was she even supposed to be here right now? Or did the hunters who dropped her off here forget that they even escorted her in the first place? To be honest, she didn’t care why she was still here. Her only problem was leaving.

Lily wasn’t a serious threat to the navigators in the room, but she was unable to wander on her own or return to her father’s room from anywhere without an accompanying hunter. The reason for that was that she hadn’t gotten an ID with her clearance level yet. If she had one, she would have been free to walk around in the areas she was cleared to visit.

But no, something had to happen and the whole thing got delayed. She wasn’t sure on the details, but as far as she was concerned, she was trapped in here unless a Hunter escorted her to Zero’s apartment.

She left the navigators alone, preferring to enter hibernation until someone, hopefully, Zero or X came to pick her up.

The world around her seemed to fade away as she pulled up the Instant Message log that she and Axl had been using to talk to each other. The information displayed across her eyes as she replied to his latest message.

TXT:batgrl: How much longer do I have to wait for this stupid ID thing to go through? I think everyone would like to stop having to babysit me kthx.   

If there was anyone trying to initiate contact with her, she was currently unaware.

He wasn’t really sure what to make of her, or even what to say, to the young(?) reploid. Working with bounty hunters always put his teeth on edge, but he wasn’t about to chase her away on sight– (mainly because she looked like she was child, and it was hard for him to entirely ignore that).

“So… what am I supposed to do with you?” Matter of fact. “How am I supposed to trust that I can actually work with you without you backstabbing me?”

She managed to give an annoyed sigh at the elder Maverick Hunter’s reaction. Yes, most bounty hunters worked for whoever had the higher pay; but Lily outright refused to work with any Mavericks or their supporters. Hell, she’ll easily sell them out if they try to force her into something. That’s why most Mavericks stopped trying to request her skills.

There were always some that didn't get the message, but that was what a good, old fashioned Moltlav Cocktail was for. Throw it straight at them and they go up in flames. Of course she had her own explosive recepie that could easily take care of most Mavericks if they got caught in the blast radius.

“First of all, I despise Mavericks with every fiber of my being thank you very much. I came here to do a job that YOUR Commander requested me for. I have no intention of suddenly backstabbing you while on this mission, so if you could please stop glaring at me like I’m the scum of the earth that would be greatly appreciated. I have a fucking job to do, and I’ll be damned if I screw it up because of you.”

Lily began to type a few lines of code into her datapad as she readied Ryou for deployment.

“Look, I get it. Some Bounty Hunters are assholes who side with the highest bidder and don’t care about morals. Most of us can’t be trusted with a stick around Hunters or humans. I’ll fully admit that. I’ve had to destroy plenty of ‘rival’ bounty hunters because they threatened my life. To be honest, I’d prefer not to be a Bounty Hunter. But I literally have no other career choice due to some interesting design ‘errors’ that would make it impossible to do anything else.”

Her eyes softened, looking down at the floor.

“I’m not asking you to trust me. I’m asking you to give me a chance. That’s all.”

“There’s no other logical explanation for this conversation.”

“Mmkay then. If you say so. Logic never comes to mind when I talk sometimes. I’ll just leave since I’m freaking you out or something. Don’t let zombies eat you. Bye.”

The strange reploid prepares to leave without a second glance.
