I went to North Carolina A&T exhibit a few weeks back and saw their student exhibit along with some archive pieces/artifacts that they have from former students/they collected overtime. I really love this abstract piece and how even though hit being cutout pieces, they all flow together very well. I think this helped me understand proportions when it comes to all art, but specially how to apply what I learned to Illustrator.

I went to the Afro-Futurism exhibit, here a Bowie State University. What I really enjoyed about this event is the topic itself. I'm a huge fan of afro futurism and afro surrealism when it comes to different type of mediums. Being surrounded by too much black talented creatures make these pieces and have amazing story telling in them as well.
