How did you come up with your designs? Aka what was your inspo????? 🫶

Ok so crk does a great job at showing different cultures and religions with they’re characters, especially a lot of biblical symbolism which is really cool to me.

For eternal sugar shes obv based on an angel with her garden being like the garden of Eden. I wanted to base her around those old angel sculptures just bc I think they’re so pretty.

I literally just pulled the cherub statue on her harp from this sculpture also just cuz idk how to draw a baby. I also wanted to do more with her teeth and eye ball theme she’s got going on. Tbh I’m not super happy with the halo I’ll prob change it next time I draw her which I plan on doing a lot.

Shadow milk cookie is more of the same, he also has some biblical theming going on with him and also pure vanilla literally being Jesus 😭 I liked shadow milk being representative of the devil disguised as a snake and wanted to include that more within his design. I’m also just not a huge fan of his og design in general so like he needed something. Obv I put a literal snake in there but I also made his little clown hat thingy like a snake tail, I drew a thing of it kinda moving like how a rattlesnakes tail would with a bell attached to it but it honestly just looks like the sketch layer under it :(

And I added the theatre masks to cover up his stupid face, I thought it’d be cool if everytime he shape shifts he changes his mask n whatnot.

For eternal sugar I just did some research on ancient Korean fashions, i made her dress look more like a hanbok and did a traditional hairstyle that the women of royalty would wear. Though it was simplified a bit cuz I’m not good at little details :c

And I thought her spider form was rlly awesomness so I made her like a spider thing, originally she was gonna be a giant spider controlling a woman with its web like puppet strings but that was a bit much😭 and would’ve been a pain to draw.

I lost the motivation to do burning spice but I know he’s based on shiva and I wanted to incorporate that and other Hinduism aspects more, and for silent salt I don’t know what I’ll do honestly.
