Day 4 ~ Nightmare

“How long has this been going on?” “Feels like forever…” “You never said anything about it.” “I know.”

(This is based on a hurt/comfort oneshot that I wrote over a year ago. It's one where X finally learns about Zero's chronic nightmares, and Zero suffers from some shiny new PTSD symptoms. But I haven't posted it yet bc im shy. Maybe someday?)

Day 3 ~ Labyrinth

(this is set between Zero 1 and Zero 2. I like to imagine that Zero was mostly trying to run from Neo Arcadian forces during that year gap, while also leading them away from the resistance. But every once in a while, he finds some shelter to stop and rest for a while. And every once in a while, Cyber-Elf X pays him a visit (they don't talk much, but they appreciate each other's presence greatly))

Zero may be good at combat, and he may have a high battle IQ, but he wasn't exactly calibrated for skating on the ice. Good thing he has his buddy to catch him when he falls!
