if i turn off the 𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉, then i might start thinking. if i start thinking, i'll think of the time when you said that you 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃 me, you said i was perfect, you said you were sorry, you said you were 𝓈𝑒𝓁𝒻𝒾𝓈𝒽. if i don't stop then before i know it, all the bad things never happened. you never 𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐃 or treated me bad, and if you did, then you'll wish you hadn't. start believing you were right and i was being too 𝒹𝓇𝒶𝓂𝒶𝓉𝒾𝒸, so i gotta leave the light on for tonight. / ♡

OPEN STARTER  set in late July.
Eunjung didn’t have much to do, but that wasn’t enough to keep her away from her job. it seemed that she had been working so hard for so long that when she got a chance to breathe, it felt worse than the perpetual feeling of being rushed that she otherwise lived with. It was why she was still finding excuses to come back on a day off, running from coffee shops to convenience stores to dorms and offices. She was walking fast with a hot coffee in her hand (this time, not for an SNC member of a former coworker, but for herself) when she saw a piece of paper lying near a trashcan. It always bothered her when she saw things like that; it was the idea that someone had cared a little bit, but not enough to actually get their trash where it belonged.
Abruptly, the sound of heels clicking against pavement paused as she leaned over to pick up the piece of paper. By chance, she caught a glimpse of what it was before she dropped it in. A parking ticket. She knew (or at least hoped) that it didn’t belong to anyone in the industry, and even if it did, she thought they’d be smart enough to deal with it instead of ignore it. But she had too much time on her hands, so when she spotted someone familiar up ahead, she decided not to throw the paper away. Not yet, anyway. “Hey!” She called out, sharp. Attention-grabbing. “You dropped something,” She informed, holding the ticket up and waving it around.

hey! so, i know that i made a temporary reappearance on discord (and i will probably continue to pop in on occasion), but i have decided that i do not wish to plot on there. i’m aware that it’s more convenient for most of you so i’m sorry about this, but it’s easier for me to keep up and remember to reply through tumblr dms. with that said, i will be dming everyone i was plotting with on discord on here to continue shortly.
since the event is ending tonight, i could really use new non-event threads for both eunjung & juno. please like this if you want to receive a starter from either of them. if you have a preference for which, comment below. thanks!

vldshiyuan:
When: Sometime during the day, idk?? Where: Jeju Island  OPEN STARTER
Shiyuan has decided he hates vacations, they made him feel so incredibly antsy he would end up fidgeting with anything he could get his hands on. Not only had he gone through his phone notes 8 times but now he also had made a folder for almost everything in his photo gallery- truly, it was a sight to see because Shiyuan was never organized. It had been 30 minutes of him walking around in a circle, kicking a rock, looking at Instagram and then sitting down on a bench only to repeat the process.
Actually, scratch that, Shiyuan detests vacations. He hates the summer now, it is completely ruined and he would rather be doing his taxes. Maybe he could convince the people around to let him go home early. As pretty as Jeju was, it was a drag and he was tired of the scenery. ‘‘I could be doing useful things right now.’‘ Shiyuan eventually speaks up to himself, staring blankly at his hands.
‘‘I could be practicing dances, writing song- hell I could even be cleaning my apartment and water my cacti… but no, I am stuck here. On an island, I can’t even swim that well.’‘ There is a silence before a guttural sounds leaves him and he lays down on the lone bench. ‘‘I want to go homeee’‘ He whines, like a child who didn’t get it’s stitch toy.
Having spent over a decade with hardly any vacations in between work-filled days, Eunjung was thrilled to have a paid trip to Jeju. The only downside was that so many people were going at once: everyone in Summit Media, Atlas Records, KMG Entertainment and then the various other tourists who had come on their own accord. It was packed, and she wasn’t overly social on even her best days, so she’d been spending most of her time taking short-cuts and walking where she could instead of using public transportation.
In fact, she’d been walking so much that she was worn out already, even though there were still plenty of hours before the sun would set. That’s why she was headed towards a bench she had spotted, marching like a woman on a mission, but she stopped abruptly when she saw Shiyuan. She considered turning and walking away, but instead, she took the show for what it was worth and watched him throw a fit in mild amusement. She could tell that he was talking to himself, but from where she stood, she couldn’t make out his words very well.
Once he laid down on the bench, she decided to approach. “Hey, make some room,” She demanded, ice in her voice contradicting the hot weather. “I feel like I’ve hiked thirty miles today, there’s no reason to be hogging up the bench.” She looked around briefly, wondering why there weren’t any more nearby; it seemed pointless to have only one. “What’s wrong with you, anyway? Why are you making a scene all by yourself?”

LOCATION   In an isolated area outside Essence’s dorm. DATE   July 12th, 2020. WITH   @odumvld
Eunjung should’ve been grateful for the dull days between the return to Seoul and now. It meant that she finally had some time to work on things outside of her job that she’d been pushing off and stock up on well-needed sleep. But she wasn’t grateful about it, really; she had long grown accustomed to the arduous days and endless responsibilities. While wasn’t like SNC didn’t have a single thing to do, it certainly wasn’t enough to keep Eunjung on her toes like usual. Today, the only reason she’d even stopped by the dorm was because she didn’t want to spend any more time in the lonely silence of her apartment. If she did, she’d likely lose her mind.
She stood outside in the stale summer heat with Odum, smoke still sticking to the air around them despite her own cigarette having been crushed under her heel minutes ago. “How was Jeju for you?” She asked, giving her a curious look. Of course Eunjung had gone on the trip, too, but she’d made a point of spending as much time as possible away from SNC. She thought that if the roles were reversed, she too would want some space from her manager every now and then. “With how much time we’ve got these days, we should’ve been able to stay longer. Cheap asses,” she complained, rolling her eyes.

so... we’re gonna give this another shot... this is heather, here with a brand new second character:  han eunjung. she’s the slightly-aggressive manager of snc, but she’ll gladly boss anyone around, given the chance. currently don’t have any pages for her because i’m still kind of... testing the waters... but i’ll get those done & posted once i have a firmer idea of how i’m going to write her! anyway, like this or message me if you want to plot with her. without further ado, read below the cut for an introduction to eunjung!
history  /  .
she spent the first eleven years of her life in daejeong, being raised by her biological parents. however, her mom ended up falling ill and once she passed, it was hard for her to stay in her childhood home and it was hard for her father to be a decent parent whilst he was dealing with his own pain. as a result, eunjung was sent to the small town of gampo to stay with her maternal grandfather temporarily. it... was not temporary.
hated gampo at first because of how old everything was. every building she saw looked like it could easily be destroyed by one big puff from the big bad wolf and her grandfather was the embodiment of the grumpy old man stereotype. in time, she became begrudgingly fond of the town and even her grandpa, though. he helped her come out of her shell (as she had already been shy & losing her mom made her even more quiet), helped her decide that she wanted to make a good life for herself. started taking school seriously.
ended up going to kyung hee university’s school of management. became an intern at atlas records in 2011 and by the time she graduated in 2012, she had been hired on full time in their management department, primarily working with funds.
thought she would be working with funds for however long she stayed there and she wasn’t thrilled about the idea, but it was kind of? whatever? wanted a raise, but overall, she was fine with how things were. but by early 2016, she found that she was occasionally working as a stand-in artist manager. it was stressful and she didn’t really know why she was doing it because? that wasn’t in her job description?
ended up getting offered the job as trainee girl group snc’s manager. thought long and hard about it, didn’t really wanna take it but also hated her job anyway, so she accepted. has been with snc since. won’t say it, but she kinda loves them or w/e. big sister energy.
personality /
being raised by an older man really shaped who she is -- he had a slightly cynical outlook on life, usually expressed through sardonic humor. this is eunjung in a nutshell.
she does her job, but at the same time, she isn’t a hardass about it and, having such a pessimistic outlook on life anyways, wants to try to have fun sometimes! very impulsive, will say yes to almost anything, so long as it won’t cause scandals for her girls or put them in danger. a lot of people have this idea about her that she’s uptight, strict, will never relax. but when you get to know her, she’s pretty funny to be around. always up for a good time. the girls might even have to remind her of her job once in a while because she can get a little careless.
doesn’t take stupid questions well. can be condescending if she thinks someone has asked a pointless question; i imagine that she might be seen as intimidating by younger trainees or anyone who isn’t used to the kind of demeanor she has.
fun facts /
she speaks korean and spanish fluently, is beginning to learn english but she can understand it better than she can speak it.
she smokes and she’s unashamed of it, but she’ll never smoke in a car with closed windows or inside at all. if she’s minding her own business and someone tells her to put her cigarette out, though... she might just put it out in your drink. :/
has a nicer image in public situations since she /is/ a k-pop manager and she doesn’t want any of her behavior to affect snc, but you can usually still tell when she’s bothered since she’s... quite cold when she wants to be.
she really likes fashion. on days when snc isn’t running around so much, she likes to look nice even though she’s just a manager.
she lives alone in an apartment that’s... awfully messy. can’t be bothered to clean since she doesn’t spend a lot of time at home, anyway. she really wants pets, but doesn’t have the time to care for them, either. mostly eats microwave meals, but she will cook for snc, should they ask. cares about them more than she cares about herself and it shows. if anyone wants to step in and help her clean up her life, though! please do! she needs it.
