q: how do requests work?

a: basically any way you want! you can request a specific existing voice to be added to the database, or you can describe a character of your own and request a recommendation of a voice for them. i will warn you though, i'm not too active on here so requests will take awhile!

q: how do you qualify gender/age?

a: i tag by the gender identity/age of the character from the audio clip, not the voice actor.

q: how do you qualify pitch?

a: i started by doing it by ear, but now i look at a spectrogram of the clips and decide based on that. it is definitely subjective to a point, though.

Hey, so I have a character. I liked Heather Masters as Circus Baby's performance in Sister Location, so maybe use that as inspiration. He's an 27 year old office worker from around the 1800s, he mostly keeps to himself, but isn't socially awkward. Some describe his word choice and syntax as rather flowery and descriptive, and I would love to find a voice that sort of fits that about him, as well his introversion. (also Preferable British? like... I think RP? or maybe a Mid-Atlantic accent).

hi, i'm not sure if you do this but i'm in very desperate need of an androgynous voice (the character is assigned female at birth) they are 23 years old have middle range pitch. their character is very joking, playful, and occasionally flirtatious. i have a entire doc dedicated to them so more information can easily be provided. if it's not too much of an ask, a singing voice along with a normal speaking voice for variety would be awesome. my personal bias is for pop and alternative. thank you!
