Birmingham Comic Con 2018~ Winner Best Masquerade Performance~

So back at Birmingham Comic Con, we competed in the masquerade on the Sunday! We performed a skit to an edited version of Ireland from the Legally Blonde musical. (it was a genius moment with Moira being from Ireland and Mercy being blonde :P)

This was definitely one of the most fun (if not stressful!) performances we have put together. Fun because it was very comedic base, but stressful because the comedy lay in strategic timing and stage placement X3

The general premis for the performance was Mercy seeking support from Moira, as she sees herself as ‘one big blonde joke’ due to all the recent nerfs. Moira tries to comfort Mercy by saying when she’s down she dreams of Ireland to comfort her! As the performance went on, Mercy realises what a mistake she had made by asking Moira as she gets increasingly crazier :P Everytime she tries to get away, Moira pulls her back in until it all became too much and Bekka ended up in a heap on the floor!

But our efforts paid off as we won best performance which makes it all worth it! :D We didn’t expect to anything and our aim was to make people laugh and smile, so the fact we’ve done that and been recognised for it is something really special <3 It’s also the first masquerade performance our friends managed to guess as we never tell anyone what we have planned!

Hopefully we’ll be able to find a video soon but until then - enjoy these photos! ^^
