Morty really couldn't stifle his concern, no matter how much he tried. Rick was having trouble concentrating and looked like one wrong tip and he would lose consciousness. That alone left Morty with a sense of worry that he couldn't wrap his head around properly.
He scanned the stutters on the watch before Rick finally managed to say what he had been trying to. Morty nodded in understanding and got up gently. He knew that one wrong movement on the couch could throw Rick off ever further, which he definitely didn't want to do. After getting up, Morty signed to Rick, "Okay." Even though he knew that the man was probably too out of it to really catch it.
He took in a sharp breath, forgetting about his own injuries and stiffened. After a few small recovering breaths, Morty started on the way to the bathroom. He quickly opened the cabinet. Despite his fleeting worry about the number of pills that he was mean to grab, he scooped them all into his arms to deliver to Rick. He was too worried about Rick's state to be that person that points out hat taking any of these could make things worse.
Morty quickly delivered them to Rick, trying to ignore his own sharp stabbing pains. He didn't even really remember getting hurt. He remembered the series of events, but not the part where he had been hurt. Maybe he hadn't and this was all sympathy. Either way, he didn't care about himself at that moment. He cared more about Rick's safety.
Instead of placing the drugs on the table like he might have any other time, he brought the bottles over to the couch and sat them down before gently placing himself on the couch as well. He looked at Rick in hopes that he had done this right.

Morty didn't believe a word of Plug's muttered comforts. After all, he looked like death and Morty could read the pain on his expression. If being deaf was good for anything, it helped him understand body language much better than most people did. Therefore, no matter the words spoken to him, he knew that Rick was lying about it being alright. He could see the pain and hurt that Plug was dealing with and that concerned him.
When Rick nearly passed out, Morty tensed up. He had to keep his thoughts from getting dark, his fears of having caused this fresh in his mind. He had told Plug about what happened to him, thus leading them onto this murderous path. If they hadn't tried to pursue Riq IV, than Rick might actually be okay. But they had and whilst the men that hurt Morty were all gone, it seemed like his saviour might be the next to go.
Morty cleared his throat and nodded when asked if he could get Rick's medicines. "Which ones?" Morty spoke, knowing that Rick would probably have too much struggle trying to read the whiteboard right now. Even though Morty's throat was still sore and he didn't want to talk, he knew that this was vital. He needed to help Rick out in any way that he could.
As he waited for a reply from Rick, he couldn't help the anxiety that shook through his body. He had been a direct cause to this. If he had just not said anything in regards to what had happened to him... But even that was fresh in his mind. Morty felt like he had just become too broken and his toxic, broken self was rubbing off and causing more harm than good.
Morty bit his lip. He had to keep himself from that dark place in his mind. He needed to keep alert so that he could help Rick. The last thing he needed was to be crippled by anxiety and not be much help. That would do so much more harm than good.

Morty had fallen asleep and hadn't even moved a sore muscle from the position he had fallen asleep in. The liqueur that left a small scent on his breath had aided in his mind's ability to stop, leaving him exhausted and able to rest fairly quickly. Any other time, Morty would have struggled to sleep, especially with everything that occurred that day. He had unintentionally ended up leaning on Rick, giving himself some form of support against the man.
When Rick first stirred, Morty just let out a small groan, but didn't wake up. He was so tired from the events of before that exhaustion won over from the first bit of movement. As Rick continued to fumble with himself, it did manage to shake Morty awake a little. He slowly opened his eyes and blanked before rubbing his face. He was still rather buzzed so he had a moment before realising where he was and why.
His buzz quickly fled when he looked at Rick. The man looked absolutely horrible. On the brink of death even. Morty felt panic quake through him and he hesitated before noticing the watch light up with Rick's words. Morty nodded at the fact that Rick said he wasn't feeling good. That much was blatantly clear without Rick's observation.
Morty didn't even give himself time to grab his whiteboard. "'Ou need help" He spoke out, the words even worse than normal from his slightly less than sober self. He was concerned that Rick had definitely overdone it. After all, he hadn't really slept in days that Morty could remember. Then he had all of that stress, fear, anger... Not to mention living through all of those fights and that explosion.
Morty immediately began to feel responsible but kept his mouth shut. Instead, he banked on repeating himself, "'Ou need help." He said again, before reaching out and grabbing his whiteboard. He wrote quickly, hoping that Rick had clear enough vision to read. "You are bleeding everywhere." Morty showed him the board.

Morty watched the other with concern lacing his expression. While Rick obviously knew how to keep himself alive, it seemed like that man was really struggling at that moment. Despite that, Morty didn't say anything. He didn't want to being overbearing or something when Rick had done so much for him right now. He simply cleared his throat and silently watched as Rick struggled.
Once the struggle passed, Morty could see it in Rick's bloodshot eyes that the man was beyond exhausted. To be honest, he probably looked about the same. He was a mess, mentally and physically. But he stayed up and awake for Rick. He tried his best to seem strong while Rick was conscious. Things were better now. That was all he needed to remember. Things were better.
When Rick dozed off, Morty was quiet as he sipped a little more of the alcohol. He pulled his knees up to his chest and set the board off to the side. He rested his head on his knees as he focused on his breathing and making himself feel better about everything that had just happened. Despite his mental exercises, Morty still felt the hot sting of tears trying to escape his eyes. Why was he crying? All of his assailants were dead. He was going to be safe from here on out.
Knowing those things didn't stop the tears from rolling down his face. He was upset out just the sight of those dead Ricks. The memory of their dying or dead faces. The thought that he was going to face the idea that he and Rick had killed all of those men. Sure, they had done something bad to him, but they probably had families to return to. Even if they had saved those Ricks' Mortys, what about their Beths? Morty didn't want to think about it.
He took in a few slow breaths as he drank a little more. He was sure that the alcohol was no aid and attempting to quit his waterworks, but it did make him feel lighter. In fact, he was beginning to get really tired. He was already physically and emotionally exhausted, but the alcohol helped slow his brain's fast thought process. In fact, within a few moments, Morty dozed off, slumping over a little, ending up partially leading on Rick.

Morty observed as the other spoke, trying to understand what she was trying to say. After a moment and her gestures, Morty nodded a little before writing down. "You would like something to drink? Do you have the kind in mind?" He almost handed over the notebook before he pulled it back and wrote, "Please write it down. I can understand better that way." He then offered her the notebook.
Morty hoped that she would understand quickly that he couldn't understand her speech well. The only reason he understood what she was trying to convey was because she played a good game of charades. However, charades would live him clueless as to what kind of drink she wanted.

Whilst Morty could not hear the intonation in Rick's voice, he could see all of the signs on his face.Rick had a glimmer in his eye, something that was generally lacking, even when rested. That glint made Morty feel happy with himself, even if only a little. After all, he was not like other Mortys in the worst of ways. He was disabled, slow, traumatised. But Plug dealt with him and made things seem like they weren't so bad. Sure, things had been pretty rough the last day or so but Morty knew that no other Rick would have ever helped him like that. Most other Ricks would have just joined in on the trauma.
When Rick let him have a drink, Morty smiled a little. He had had sips of alcohol before, one time getting plastered at a school party and being left for everyone to do whatever they wanted to his passed out body. After that incident, he didn't just freely take drinks. He felt like he deserved it today. He was with Plug, who wouldn't hurt him, in a dimension where he couldn't be found. Things were going to be okay.
Morty tilted the drink back, gingerly taking a small sip. He let out a cough at the burn in his throat, but he took another small drink anywhere. He didn't plan on chugging the bitter drink. He wanted to savour his buzz, which he found to be much better than drunk anyway. "Thank you." He wrote out. He couldn't drink too much anyway; if he did, he would have no means of communication.
Morty read the watch as the other spoke, almost completely missing the swift cover up that Rick did with the bloody cough. Morty only saw a bit of the cough and then Rick seemed to be talking again just like that. It was probably nothing. After all, they were just surrounded by horrible debris that could have done anything to their lungs.
Morty pushed his negative thoughts from his mind as he let a smile appear on his face and he nodded, "I really like that idea!" He wrote. It had been a while since he had been treated to something like that. At home they rarely even passed each other for breakfast anymore. Morty left early so that he wouldn't have to deal with his parent's arguing over his less than perfect attendance and deal with Summer directly saying mean things to him that he wouldn't understand. While his parents weren't the worst part of it, Summer made it seem unbearable at home.
Yet again, the thoughts in his head led him back to feeling thankful for Plug's involvement in his life. The man was making things better for him. It was great.

Morty had just started his job at the restaurant. He had never thought that he would be able to get a job because of his deafness, but they had given him a job as a busboy, cleaning up messes and tables. It at least gave him a little bit of money in his pocket, verses his regularly empty wallet.
Despite the fact that he wasn't supposed to help customers, he saw this girl trying to get a waiter when everyone was busy. He cleared his throat a little and walked over to the table slowly. He pulled out a little notebook from his pocket before writing on the page, "Can I help you?" He hoped she would understand that he couldn't hear but wanted to help. After all, she was a Morty so maybe she wouldn't be offended.

Morty was grateful to be leaving the chaos and going to a calm place that he knew was safe. Once they went to the apartment, Morty relaxed on the couch quickly, rubbing his ears gently. They were sore from the noise he couldn't hear that had assaulted him earlier. He let his body curl a little as he attempted to relax. Imagery of the murders and the fear he had felt echoed through his mind.
Despite the traumatic events they lived through, Morty knew that he was safe. All of the Ricks that had caused him troubles were now dead. All of the Ricks that had forced themselves on him and hurt him were gone. He was a free Morty now. That alone made him feel better. It was something that he couldn't even possibly wrap his head around.
When Rick took a drink of something, Morty wanted to reach out and have a drink himself. He felt like he deserved it after all of that. He didn't ask about it though, because he felt like he would just be defeating the purpose of trying to be better if he had a drink.
When the screen of his watch lit up, he read the words on the screen before looked up at Rick. He read through the words on his screen before he nodded and looked around before leaning lazily over and grabbing the first thing he touched that he could write on before writing. "I love you too, Rick. You saved me." He wrote, showing the man what he wrote. His throat hurt from talking or he would have tried to talk to Rick.
After a long moment, Morty decided that he was done with caring about his resolve. He wrote on the paper he had found, "Can I have a drink?" He really wanted to just have a drink and sleep.

Morty was quiet as he tried to wrap his head around the fact that somehow Riq had survived. The thought alone was enough to make Morty want to give up, but he knew that they had come so far. Seeing Rick step forward, almost confidently despite everything that had happened so far, made Morty feel a little more grounded. He couldn't even begin to express the fear he felt towards Riq. Before Plug, Morty simply dissociated from the events, only sometimes letting them get to him. He had never been used to having to face the truth of what happened before Plug came around.
Morty didn't read the words of interaction between the two men, feeling pretty certain that he didn't want to know what they were saying to each other. Riq debilitated him in a way that he couldn't explain and definitely didn't want to understand. The only way he had ever known how to cope with the events that had happened between himself and Riq was to not think about it. Having had all of this brought to the forefront of his mind was a big stresser for him.
As Plug attacked Riq, Morty watched. He felt sick to his stomach due to anxiety and hunger, but he still watched. Seeing the event of Riq being murdered was resolve. Seeing this happen was all Morty needed to know for sure that he was going to be safe. Without Riq, the rapists that had attacked him had to ground -- if there were even any left alive. Morty was pretty sure that they had managed to kill everyone that had hurt him that way.
After the last blow that left Riq in a state of obvious dying, Morty looked at Plug. He was sure he looked like hell. His whole body ached and his ears were killing him. He could only assume that it was due to the loud explosion that had happened before. Even if he couldn't hear, his ears still had some parts that worked and loud noises were sure to knock that off key.
"I-I'm glad." Morty spoke. He didn't have his whiteboard, his crutch. He didn't like that he was left with only his voice, but he knew that Plug didn't judge his rough, heavily accented voice. He signed out, "It's okay." to the other, knowing that that was the one thing Plug knew. He wanted to express that even though this was all traumatic, he felt as though it helped. Knowing that the men that had hurt him were dead meant more than anything to him.
"I-I love you too." He said quietly, looking up from the watch and giving Plug a weak grin. He was exhausted and felt emotionally numb from the trauma they had both been through. "Can we go home and sleep?" He asked, his throat feeling sore from all of the talking he had done in the last hour. He was just exhausted and wanted to recover from this epic that they just lived through.

Despite the fact that he had told Rick that he would stay strong, things were getting very tense very fast. He could tell that Riq IV was just aiming for this result, a reason to hold Morty against his will and use him for whatever 'activities' the man had in mind. Morty knew that there was nothing that he could do to stop it either. If Riq IV wanted to use him as some sort of sex doll, it seemed that that was only fate. While Plug had done good to keep him calm and bold until this point, Morty was very quickly losing resolve now that they seemed trapped with no answers.
Morty had lowered his head and accepted that this was how things were going to be when the light on his watch lite up, telling him the other spoke. The thought of trying to stay calm and face this felt impossible and Morty was sure that the fear that he had been trying to suppress was on his face.
Morty stumbled when the other struggled against the guard. At the thought of being left with Riq IV after getting his own experiences shoved back in his face, Morty was numb. He simply stumbled when the other was fighting back, staring at the ground.
Unlike Rick, Morty didn't fight when the guards grabbed him and unhooked him from the chains. He had fought and it had done nothing but make things worse. What else was he supposed to do? Morty didn't close his eyes, didn't shut out the world like he wanted to. He wanted to pretend none of this was real in the best way he could, which was taking the only other sense that really did much for him. Despite that, he was still holding on to a sliver of faith, even if he had pretty much given up that anything was going to save them from this fate.
Morty looked up at the other, sure that his face conveyed exactly how scared and hopeless he felt. He didn't want to be given to Riq IV. It wasn't like anyone would miss him besides Plug, who was going to get taken and killed. He felt tears tease his eyes when he barely caught what the other was saying. While he couldn't read lips well at all, he could tell that the other was saying some pretty emotional stuff. That all weighed on him even more. This was all his fault. If he had just kept his mouth shut about what had happened to him like he was supposed to... If he had just pretended those bad experiences didn't happen...
Morty was pulled from his thoughts when the Rick guard that was holding him let go and left Morty to tumble on the floor. At first, Morty had no idea what had happened. He had felt the floor shaking and he looked around in a panic. Very rarely did his grace his deafness with a thanks but he felt like now was one of those times. He could see people screaming, fighting to escape the shaking floor and cracking foundation.
He didn't immediately know what to do so he sat right where he had fallen, taking in everything happening around him. It was confusing and disorienting to see everyone running around. People were being crushed by debris and there were Ricks still trying to maintain some type of order despite this obvious chaos.
As the shaking subsided, leaving most people either dead, fainted, or very confused, Morty looked around for Plug Rick, /his/ Rick. He hadn't even realised that he had been right next to other other until the man wrapped his arms around him. Morty watched the other, sure that the deadpan look wasn't off of his face yet. He still hadn't fully processed everything that had just happened. Either way, they were okay. They were both there and both alive.
Morty saw as something caught Rick's attention and her turned a little to see what it was. Riq IV had somehow managed to survive despite the fact that everything in the area of the Counsel's seating had been maimed by debris. Morty was sure he tensed up and stepped back into Plug's thin frame. The thought that somehow that man was still alive alone debilitated Morty. The thoughts of right before this chaos hit him again and he felt like he was being rendered useless.

The thought of looking away from Riq IV as the words came flowing out seemed impossible. He wanted to get what he needed to say out or it was never going to come out like he wanted. He needed to let everyone in that courtroom know that Riq IV had done horrible things to him, even if it was falling on unconvinced ears. He felt like doing this was the only way that he could possibly ever move forward from how he had felt when he had met Plug.
As his words came stuttering to an end, his eyes watched Riq as the man's face looked in utter disbelief. Morty knew that his accusations were most likely going to be ignored or laughed at but this was all the effort he could exert to attempt to make things right.
Morty knew his luck and the chances that anyone would actually believe a disabled Morty over an overpower like Riq IV. While this was the case, maybe just one of the Ricks or Mortys listening would take the words to heart and understand Riq for the absolute creep that he was. Even just one person on his side could help in whatever punishment the two of them might receive for the murders that Plug and Morty had done.
When Plug touched him, Morty glanced only for a second. He couldn't tear his eyes away from the Council member too long or he felt like he might lose his ground. He could almost sense that the man beside him was talking, but he dare not look down to see what words the man spoke. He needed to keep eye contact with Riq. He didn't know why but this seemed very important.
Only moment passed as Riq's expression twisted and he stood and yelled. Unlike others in the room who flinched from the sound, Morty stood steady. Unable to hear the volume and demand in the leader's voice did have some benefit. As the man raged, Morty only watched. There was fear coursing through him once he realised that the behaviour of the man was startling even the other Council members, though he still attempted to maintain his composure.
The sudden twist of Riq's behaviour startled Morty more than any of the anger he had expressed. Morty did finally break his stare and look at Plug before glancing around and then down at his watch. Why was the man laughing? What was so funny about any of this? Nothing was funny about this.
When the man spoke, Morty did look down and read the words he said. He looked at Plug and shook his head. He didn't mean to make things worse, which was exactly what it looked like he had done. "No!" He yelled out, as the guards started preparing Plug to be taken away. He didn't even care what was going to happen to himself. He only cared about what was happening to Plug Rick.

Morty was shaking in fear. Although he could still understand what was going on, he felt as if he was going to get hurt for keeping his eyes on the watch on his cuffed wrist rather than looking ahead at the judges slowly presented themselves. He was terrified for his safety and almost expected that he was going to be faced with more than he could handle. He may have found a little bit of himself in the last couple days, but his boldness couldn't outstand a nearly entire room filled with Ricks.
He took in a sharp breath through his nose as the final council member made his appearance. Seeing the man again and knowing what all he had done made Morty's previously strong outlook falter. Remembering the drunk smell in the air as Riq covered Morty's mouth, pressing himself into the boy left Morty feeling scared and panicked. Did Riq recognise him? What were the man's plans after the prosecution? Morty feared that he was going to be given to Riq as a treat.
When the light of Morty's watch lit up, Morty only glanced for a second before he looked back up. The look he witnessed on Riq's face left him even more fear struck. If Riq hadn't known who he was before, he definitely did now. Morty knew that look too. That was the same look he had given Morty after he first discovered that Morty couldn't hear. It was a look of exploit. Riq knew that there was an opening to attack.
Morty had already done as they were asked and had taken his step forward. At the notice that Rick wasn't up there, Morty looked back just in time to see the guard hit Rick to make him be in line with Morty. Morty felt a chill down his spine and he looked up at the Council again, noticing that one of the Ricks was speaking, but he didn't look down to see what the man said. After all, he was being accused with an act he did commit. He was only going to not follow direction when given a cue by Plug.
When Riq spoke, Morty stiffened. Even just knowing the man was speaking was uncomfortable to the boy. He glanced down yet again, reading the words that appeared on the screen. He hadn't even had a moment to look up before he was tugged a little by Rick having moved up. He looked at the man before looking down again to take the words spoken in.
Reading the words on the screen, Morty knew that Rick was calling Riq out and that made Morty even more scared. The boy thought that he would have been stronger, like he had been with Miami Rick; but, being around Riq only caused him to remember everything and fear everything all over again.
Morty was getting overwhelmed when he noticed Rick's nose bleeding. He was concerned even though he seemed that Rick didn't care. He went to step forward when he saw the screen light up again on his transcriber and he quickly read the words as they flashed on the screen. He nodded a little unintentionally when Rick finished his statement.
Morty tried to take in everything but there was a lot going on. Missing one of his senses made following these types of conversations difficult, transcriber or no. He looked up to see who was talking before looking down again to read what Riq was saying to Plug. The words appearing on the screen made him shake even more than he already had been. The mention of Morty being voiceless made him scared. What if he couldn't step up to the plate when he was supposed to? Did Rick expect him to talk in front of all of these people?
The next line from Rick answered his fear and he bit his lip before quietly stepping forward. When nudged by Rick, Morty took in a deep breath as he looked up from the transcriber and nodded a little. He let out the breath he had taken in before opening his mouth and letting out the voice he hated so much.
"Riq IV raped me." He said, trying to project his voice but unsure of what loud felt like. "He raped me and told other Ricks about me so that they could do the same thing." Morty could feel the way his words came out and it made him feel weird. He would be surprised if anyone in the room would even understand what he was saying. "I.. I didn't speak out before because I hate my voice. I know it's hard to understand and I sound funny... I've avoided talking for most of my hard of hearing and deaf life... But Plug Rick made me realise that sometimes you have to get your voice heard, no matter how bad it sounds! I have been hurt by many Ricks.... All because of this one Riq." Morty said before pointing at the man he identified as his rapist.
His heart was beating so hard that he could feel it all throughout his body and he was sure he went pale once he finished talking. He glanced at Rick as if for encouragement while he tried to pull himself together. That was the most talking he was sure he had ever done in his whole life. He wondered if it was even going to be worth it in the end.

Morty was shaking in fear, despite the amount of effort he was putting in to keep a poker face. He was terrified that they were going to be murdered for the deaths that they obviously directly caused. He had always been so meek before. He was almost regretting all of this. The thoughts that flooded his mind with nothing but painful memories of torture he had endured kept him okay with what he had done. They had all deserved to die since they had tortured him the way that they had. They knew that he wasn't going to tell anyone. That was their trump card and they used it.
Morty caught the look that Rick had given him. He wasn't completely sure what that look meant but he was going to try and hold it in his memories as some kind of strength. After all, he knew that fighting the trial they were about to face was probably completely fruitless. It would be better for him to simply face the problem head on and try to stand it. He didn't want to make the heads of the Rick counsel to be angered which could ultimately lead to a horrible death that would probably not even leave he and Rick enough time to try anything.
When one of the guards hit Rick on the head, Morty flinched. Was this their ultimate demise? He felt pretty trapped. This was one of the worst situations he had ever let himself get into. He looked around and remained quiet as he observed every door and hall he saw as they traveled through the building.
Once they were introduced to the room, Morty could feel his blood pressure raise. This is only one place in which Riq IV had hurt him. He remembered the events vividly and he was sure that he looked scared shitless. While the guards were probably entertained with his fear, thinking it was because of the punishment about to be thrust upon them, but it was instead the fear of Riq IV seeing him here again.
When Rick spoke, Morty caught sight of his watch lighting up. He nodded to Rick as he kept his face trained forward. He was not prepared for whatever was going to happen to them. He was sure he wasn't made with the endurance it took to take a punishment for mass murder.
As the members of the Counsel arose, Morty was sure he started shaking. He expected each head to be be Riq IV and he was in complete fear of seeing that man again. When his chain was pulled, Morty glanced at Rick before looking at the transcriber. He read the words before signing out his name sign for Rick (which was wasn't sure Rick remembered) and then the number 4. He hoped that Rick knew what he was saying, even though he was sure the man remembered.

Morty was fearful of what they were about to go through but he was trying to stay strong. He needed to take a few deep breaths and focus. These guys weren't his rapists. They were just men, men he didn't have to care about at all. Taking the personability out of the situation left him with the ability to not mind them as people. After what they had done, Morty was feeling a loss of morality and the need to stay blind to emotions was still there.
Morty took in the words that Rick spoke and he nodded in the man's direction to let him know that he understood. He needed to get through this for the both of them. He was going to have to face this.
As the swarm of Rick solders came up to them with their guns pointed very precisely on them, Morty swallowed hard and gently put his taser on the ground before raising his hands above his head. If they said anything beyond that, he would not be able to understand.
When Rick gave him the wink, Morty felt himself getting a little more comfortable, even though they were in the eye of danger. The fact that Rick was confident gave Morty his own confidence. He needed that to possibly survive this situation, considering that they had been caught redhanded murdering Ricks.
The moment another Rick stepped Plug down to the ground, Morty looked at them in protest before the same thing was done to him, leaving him to cough and sputter with fight. As the handcuffs were put on his wrists too tight, Morty tried to figure out what the men were saying but it was hopeless. He just looked at Plug with a worried look on his face. He knew that he was supposed to go with the flow, but he was feeling very scared.

Morty was surprised at the hug that was suddenly receiving from Rick. He hadn't gotten a real hug in a while and it felt strange. He let out a small breath that he was holding and returned the gesture. He read he watch as it lit up, having known that Rick had spoken since he had felt the vibrations before the watch transcribed what he had said.
The words that he read felt fake. He had never been praised by a Rick before unless it was after some horrendous event that left Morty more emotionally scarred that before. However, he knew that Plug wasn't saying it because of something like that, which was a miracle to him.
When Rick asked him if he was okay, Morty nodded a little, even though his stomach was doing cartwheels. As the adrenaline began to wear down and the fear and exhaustion began running over him, his body felt like it was going to give out. He had had a lot happen in the last few minutes and it was a lot. The fact that he had first been molested had been horrible but he was sure that that was part of the reason he had been able to face all of them the way that he had. Having the pain and anxiety fresh in his mind from an attack made those feelings and responses seem even more natural than it had before.
As Rick apologise, Morty shook his head at the man. He didn't feel like Rick needed to apologise. Even though things were scary for a few moments, that made this fight back all the easier for him. It helped him to gain the strength to do what he was scared to do for so long.
When Rick said that he was proud of him, Morty looked up from the watch, sure that his eyes were beginning to water. No one in his family had ever been proud of him. He had worked towards doing something amazing but with his defective ears, he had always failed at everything that impressed his family. To make Plug proud meant so much and more to Morty. He pulled Rick in for a second after the man said that and he spoke up quietly, "Thank you.." He mumbled, not sure if he actually managed to get the k in thank out. It didn't matter. He needed to voice his thanks to Rick. He needed Plug to know.

Morty watched intensely to the two men in hopes that his request would leave him with a clear answer. Both men put their hands out and did signs, one wrong and one right. Morty watched closely and gripped his taser when he saw his Rick, Plug Rick, sign the correct okay. He nodded to himself and about the time he was going to jump in to save Rick, the other one pulled his fist back and hit Plug very hard.
At first, Morty was stunned, confused and not sure of what to do. However, a moment and gripping his taser too hard, Morty nodded his head to himself and aimed for the Rick hanging on top of Plug. He quickly ran over and dudged as the man almost hit him as well before tasing him o his neck. He didn't know that was going to hurt Plug too, since the two were touching but it would be okay because Morty had turned the taser down before running.
He took in a sharp breath as he climbed on top of the man and put the taser under his chin. He stared at the man's face for a little bit too long before standing up and shocking him again. He turned the taser on full strength before giving the man one more shock.
Morty let out a breath he hadn't even noticed he had been holding before he turned around to see the damage that Rick had endured. He frowned when he saw the man covered in blood and looking pretty hurt. Morty ran up to the man before speaking, "You okay?" He asked, knowing his words were strange and horrible, but he tried to push past his own problems with his voice.
