                         it was nice that present mic didn’t turn him away. usually when heros were on the clock, most wouldn’t entirely spend a lot of time talking to others. some, like endeavor, would probably just ignore them. 

                        ❝ N-NO… ! ! ❞ he was answering the question about a D A T E. his thoughts immediately went to uraraka… would she even go on a date with him ? probably not. not when there were cooler heroes like tenya or even todoroki. the thought of him doing something like a DATE was enough to get him flustered.

                       ❝ i-i’m just running an errand for my mom is all… ! we-we’re having fried rice this evening and she wanted me to get some meat… ❞

     he can’t help but laugh at midoriya’s nervous insistence that he’s most certainly not going on a date. funnily enough, he’s seen the same flustered denial from midoriya before, among classmates and casual conversations. present mic  p a t s  the boy’s shoulder to calm him.

          “ just askin’! ”  he says, lifting his free hand defensively.  “ believe it or not, i like to be caught up on what my students do outside class! sounds like you got a fun night planned regardless though! ”

                         ❝ OH ! OF COURSE ! ❞ he was so used to seeing the hero at the school that he forgot he was… a hero ! it was always so cool to see them out and doing their heroic jobs ! so amazing… ! and the fact that they had the energy for teaching AND saving just ASTOUNDED him ! present mic was really cool when being a hero.

                         ❝ s-sorry for disturbing you then ! ❞

          “ don’t sweat it! ”  he assures his student. nothing wrong with taking a short break to talk with citizens--or in this case, students.  “ seems like it’s gonna be a pretty quiet night anyway! i can spare a few minutes to chat! ”

     present mic places a hand on midoriya’s shoulder with a smile.  “ so, what’s got you out and about this afternoon? meetin’ friends? got a  d a t e ?  ”

                    your knees buckle as your breath catches in your throat . a moan leaves your lips when you ‘ re punched , a smirk appearing as you lick your lips and look at the other . “ you ‘ re getting me all worked up , baby , and we don ‘ t even know each other well . “ and then you ‘ re socking him in the gut .

          “ OOH, BABY! NOW THAT’S A NAME I CAN GET BEHIND! ”  the punch hurts, sure, but he uses it to his advantage. he’s bad at close-range combat, which means getting aizawa as far away from him as possible is key if he wants to win this. hizashi lets the punch follow through, stumbling back a bit as the air is knocked out of him, but he wraps his arms around his opponent as tightly as he can.

     what might initially seem like an awkward embrace becomes a battle tactic quickly. he turns his opponent’s head to the side, diverting his gaze before letting out the loudest scream he can manage.

                    mistakes ! mistakes ! mistakes ! that ’ s all you seem to be making ! you wanna scream from how loud it is , wanna cover your ears to muffle it as much as you can but you can ‘ t , not now , not in the heat of the fight . so you wince and maintain your ground as best you can ( and it was a struggle ! ) . you were disorientated and it took a moment for you to register what was going on before you ‘ re moving the capturing weapon to try and bring him forward again , losing your patience as you step forward , grip his hair and slams his head back . ( you move out of reach and access the damage as you stare ! ) . “ looking real hot , deadbeat . “ 

     he lets himself be pinned, watches the faint glint of  r e d  behind those dark goggles. hizashi is enjoying this, and it’s incredibly apparent by the smile on his face. he doesn’t bother signing this time--he simply winks at his opponent before slamming his knee between aizawa’s legs and following up with a punch to the  j a w .

A PERSONAL JUST REBLOGGED ONE OF MY HEADCANONS WHAT

                    foolish of you to think so little of someone . . as if the moron wouldn ’ t figure a way to strike at you ! ( and you have no one to blame but yourself ! ) . but , fortunately for you , you ‘ re a master at hand - to - hand combat and you were overflowing with adrenaline , smiling . you recovered fast as you moved back , capturing weapon flung at his hands as he pulls him forward , only to punch him in the face with his free hand . then the capturing weapon moved upwards , tightening around the other ‘ s neck ( only enough to make it hard to breathe ) . “ you really shouldn ‘ t have done that . “ 

     hizashi thanks his lucky stars that he manages to turn his head just in time. his armored headphones take the worst of the hit before his throat is grabbed. usually he doesn’t have to worry about his neck being a point of vulnerability; his speakers work almost like lightweight armor. but with reinforced fabric as the weapon, there’s not much he can do to keep it from grabbing at the small place his neck stands  e x p o s e d .

     but all that combat had his opponent blinking, and for the moment, he doesn’t see any sign of the annoying quirk being active. so hizashi takes in the biggest breath he can manage as his speakers switch on, and he lets out an excited screech of,  “  Ｎ Ｏ Ｗ    Ｗ Ｅ ＇ Ｒ Ｅ    Ｔ Ａ Ｌ Ｋ Ｉ Ｎ ＇ ！  ”

                    you slip your googles over your eyes and pull your capturing weapon back to you . backing away , you blow a kiss sarcastically . “ sorry to part ways before the fun began . “ you itching to use eye drops , to blink , to do something . . your eyes were burning and dry as hell from being open for so long . “ but you know how it is . “ you ‘ re moving towards the darkness . if you can go into the dark and blink fast , he ‘ ll never see from behind your googles ! plus , there ‘ s a ladder nearby and , if needed , you ‘ ll run . “ would ‘ ve been nice to roughen you up . . you ‘ d probably look really nice all covered in blood . “ 

     the bastard doesn’t blink, but what he does do is give hizashi an opening. when he’s released and while aizawa is busy pulling his goggles down, he grabs a fistful of that damned scarf and uses it to pull the two of them together. he  s l a m s  his head into his company’s with a  C R A C K  and then jabs his knee upward into aizawa’s gut.
