Chapter 6

Even though they were only strangers for any one, but for me, I call them all stepfathers, I hung up after we said everything we can about this woman. It is only a matter of time before she escapes prison to make me living in hell because I refused to listen to her. Minseok and Kris remained on both sides of myself, I tell them, "I just want to break my walls before I perform with you guys, I want to show what I am capable of doing." "We are going to help you throughout your struggles," said Kris, "Just know that you can always look for us when you need someone to talk to." I nodded, "Why do I always have a bad feeling that someone would go to Natalie and say everything so she can make fun of me even more." "Why is she like that?" Minseok asked, "Before you arrived, she was the nicest person." "Are you accusing me being at fault?" I asked, in full defense mode, "After all she has said about me, you accused me of her being that way?" "Xiumin, that is one of her triggers," said Kris. He backed up, "That is not what I was saying at all, but the CEO of our company stumbled upon your cover of Bring Me To Life by Evanescence, the moment she heard your voice her entire demeanor changed saying false rumors about you being an addict to something." "None of you believed her, right?" I said.

"Suho is trying his best to never to listen to her," said Kris. I know someone who would put a stop to this all, "I might know someone who can help me with this." "Alright, well when you are done, we will be in the living room," said Minseok. I went to my camaro, I drove to where G Dragon is right now, I know that he can help me with Natalie, after finding out on where he is, I walked in and looks like he is doing a music video of something. I decided to wait for someone so I can ask on where he is. I was looking at the scenery and I was giving bad memories of being in my uncles basement of that day, I turned around to only seeing someone crawling towards me, I backed up to the wall then the music stopped when the look on my face appeared on one of the cameras. I was hearing shouts of people telling me to remain calm and it is nothing but an act, I felt a gentle pressure on my shoulder and was immediately pulled away. I knew it was all an act but my trigger reponse was overpowering everything that was trying to get myself to calm down. I looked on who pulled me away, he greets himself, "I'm Daesung, you know G Dragon?" I nodded, "I was looking for him before that happened. I always hate it when that happens." "I'm guessing you tried to push through the trauma response, and it overpowered everything else, right?" he asked.

Here comes the man himself and some 3 other guys, but I noticed the tall guy, "Seunghyun?" "Kimberly? What brought you here?" he asked. I gulped, "I came to see on who is Natalie's sibling." His expression darkened, "Where is she and what has she done?" I told him what has been happening the last time we contacted each other, G Dragon asked, "How do you know each other?" "Remember when that woman tried to force me to date you?" I asked him. He nods, I continued, "She did the same thing with T.O.P without knowing that he is the brother of Natalie, right?" "Yes, unforunately," he said, "That woman has groomed her into being that way so she has Suho under her finger 100%. I am going to try my best to stop from being a tyrant to you." "Thank you so much," I said, "Anyways, um, since I am calm for right now. May I know the remaining 2?" So Taeyang and Seungri, I noticed that the woman was going to get me with Taeyang, thank goodness I was taken away from her before she did anything else towards me. I told T.O.P on where she is at currently, he immediately bolted out the building to get her, I guess? I don't know, I didn't want to find out on what he is going to do to her, I drove back to the dorm and as soon as I did, I immediately received a message saying, "Thank you for telling me on what she was doing to you."

I went inside hoping that it is only the Chinese members, I peeked in the living room and sure enough they were watching something. I went to go sit on my lounge chair to only meet with no one talking to me which is what I want when I come back, no one was watching anything, so I hoped on to my PS3 to play Skyrim, I was doing some quests for the Companions which I totally forgot what I was doing so I checked my quest log on what I was doing, I was doing well when Kris asked, "What kind of game is this?" Then when they saw me brutally killed someone by either arrow or the slow-motion scenes. Xiumin asked, "Is this all throughout the game?" "Yes, it is," I tell him, "But I'm not one this for that." I turned up the volume of how magical and calming the music Skyrim is without the fighting, they got the idea on how much change this game has for someone like me.

After all of that, everyone came back from doing whatever they were doing, I was focused on my game of Skyrim, I didn't know that the members were in the kitchen when I was playing Skyrim. My panic started to form up, I dropped the controller hoping that it was loud enough for someone to hear that, Xiumin came running so did Baekhyun? Xiumin asked, "What's wrong? Ah shoot we left you alone." "Wait, didn't you want to be left alone?" asked Baekhyun. Since my PS3 was connected to my phone, I was getting a called from a blocked number, I pointed at it, Xiumin sees it, "It's her isn't it?" "Her or that police officer," I said, "I don't want to answer that." "Let it go then," I hear him say, "There is no way that she would bail out of jail and call you." "Like I told you and Kris, that police officer would do anything for her because she wants me to witness that I would miss a perfect moment in life," I said to him. Baekhyun was disgusted on now noticing how much trauma that I had to deal with on a daily basis, "She wanted you to do what with whom?" "Thankfully, she tried to do that so many times with me," I tell them, "They are very protective of me, you saw on who came into your company right?" "T.O.P, why?" he asked. Xiumin answers, "His sister is Natalie, why else would she had that scared look on her face."

After 3 calls from this blocked number, I got a call from Jeremy, I answered, "Hello?" "She tried to call you, right?" he asked. I said, "Yeah, you don't think that she broke out of jail, did she?" "That's what we fear that officer did that," said Jeremy, "But, don't worry we already contacted his department telling them on how disgusting she is. They'll be in touch with you soon, not her, so that was probably them calling you, not her. But we told them on why you would never answer was because of her, they will get in contact with you soon enough with a different number." "Why me? I am not the one who through her in prison," I said. Jeremy said, "Well, we had to because we tried to call your uncle and he started to say weird stuff like I'll make sure you get what you want." "Okay, never mind, I get it now," I said, "Don't worry I'll tell my stepmother and he will listen. As he keeps saying that she is more terrifiying than his leader." "I mean, wait, you have no clue as to where your actual mother is don't you?" asked Jeremy. I shook my head saying, "I wish I could ask Stephanie but she would never be there during the day." "Which leads me to believe that she is not who she is that she is saying who she really is," said Jeremy. I tried to listen to that mumbo jumbo, Xiumin cleared it for me, "She is faking on who she is." "Thank you Xiumin," I said to him.

"Maybe she is your mother that is trying to mother you but she has other duties to be doing," I hear Jeremy say, "But let's get this out for you to realize on who she really is, you know that your Uncle Astaroth is an Incubus, right, and he said that she is more scary than anybody that is above him, and the name she is using. Stephanie, why does that ring a bell?" "It rhymes with something? I mean I ran into a very stunning woman named Avenna," I said, then noticed on who I met, "Oh my goodness, I met Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom." "So, that leaves Stephanie," said Xiumin, "It's sounds like Persephone. She's your mother?" "I don't think that's right," I said to him, "Astaroth would never do that to Hades. Wait, she is way much taller than my father and uncle. So she is a Titan." "Nyx, the Titan Goddess of the Night," said Baekhyun, "So, wait does that make you a demigod?" "I guess so," I said to them, "Which explains on why she never stays during the day, she comes back during the evenings so there is that."

Chapter 5

I went back to the dorm, I noticed that everyone was in the living room so I went to my room so I don't interact with any of them until I relax from what I was doing, I went to my bathroom to talk to myself on how I need to keep this up because I can never let anyone get too close to me. So after my monoluge, I walked out and I see Kris sitting on my bed, he looked at me, "We've been waiting for you." I immediately began to panic, began to mutter, "Please not again, anything but this please." He sees this and immediately walks up to me but shoved him away, "Stay away from me! I don't want to do this!" "Do what?" he asked, "Shadow, you are not making any sense at all, all I said was that we were waiting for you to return so we can only talk about certain things, nothing else." "Back off," I said, repeating phrases of that day. I kept saying those words when I thought that she was in the room, but Kris, he did nothing but trying to calm me down by saying calming words and I was slowly coming back to being in the present.

After 2 hours, I finally calmed down, finding myself crying in his chest, he noticed how broken I am inside, how so much love has been taken away from me, all I know how to express is nothing but fear, anger, and sadness, I am slowly experiencing other emotions after 4 years away from her finally, but I am afraid life in prison is not going to keep her away from me, not even the restraining order that my uncle has been put into place. She still manages to find her way to make my life a living nightmare only because I won't become like her, still claiming that she is my biological mother. I needed this reassurance knowing that I can go to someone with situations like this, he led me to the living room where everyone was, I was still feeling the aftermath, I jolted backwards but he remained by my side saying that nothing is going to happen like that anymore. He kept saying that he is there to help me through this traumatic event that I never had ever since, everyone was so busy doing their daily lives, Uncle Astaroth is never around when I am dealing with this all by myself, and Stephanie is always disappearing when morning arrives.

My father is always with my uncle, leaving me with no one to go to, I needed this so bad that I am keeping them on low contact because they would always drop everything when I am dealing another trauma. Even then, they are never going to be there when I need someone help me through, my therapist would always go to that woman because it helps her to torment me even more. Kris stayed by my side, "Guys, do you have anything to say towards Shadow about her eyes?" "Yeah sorry, we were processing what is happening right now," said Kai, "We just moved here, you joined the group affected heavily on us. Adding to you opening up to your insecurities is another thing that we as a group will have to process together." "Yeah, I didn't know that I would be accepted into this group so quick," I told them, "I really need all the support I can get." "Why do you say that?" asked Luhan, "Do you not get any support from your family?" I was hesitant, Kris said, "Alright that is enough for her to be asked such questions." "Sorry, I didn't mean to trigger you," said Luhan, "I'm just trying to get that out so we can know on what not to do while you are around."

I made a huge ass list of things that I need to work on heavily before she appears in my life again, I need my safe space to be my escape. I gave Kris the list, "May I read this out loud?" "Yeah, I'm just going back to my room for the night," I tell him. I was back in my room after all that, for the first time in all my life, I feel protected knowing that Kris, Kyungsoo, Kai, and possibly Luhan are going to be in my corner of my support system, and after thinking that I am safe, I cried so hard that the next day, I keep finding myself next to Kris. Shoot, I don't have my makeup on, let alone my eyebrows being non-existiant so I got up to get ready to put on my makeup so no one would notice my bare face, I got so many scars from my younger days that I can't let anyone see those without being shamed for it. I was sitting at my vanity doing my priming step when I hear Kris getting up, "Why are we getting ready this early?" I hid my face, "I don't want anyone to see what is underneath all that makeup." "You were wearing makeup to hide something?" he asked, "Let me see before you apply anything on your face, it can't be that bad."

I ended up looking at him either way, he saw all the scars, burn marks, and one of my eyes are still in the process of healing from getting harmed so bad by this woman. He was shocked, "That was on your list, never force you to stop wearing makeup to hide away what is underneath. We will never, but using ghostly white as foundation? Is that really needed for all of this? You know all you could ask if you can get a lighter skin tone and I can get it for you." I was surprised that he is treating me like I am his sister, in which I am because I am growing up with 12 boys. I tell him, "It was the only way to get her away from me because she did all of this." "The woman that you won't name her at all, it means to us that something happened to you while you were growing up with that kind of human being," he said, "I wish one of us was there to save you from being a victim of that, I am so incredibly sorry for what happened." "Well, for one, thanks to her, I can no longer have kids," I tell him. At this point, I drew my eyebrows on when I hear Xiumin say, "What did she do to you?" I looked at him shocked, Kris calmed me, "Easy, this is not Suho, Xiumin is safe for you to say whatever."

I took a deep breath, this is overwhelming me no matter who listened I was getting trigger left and right, Xiumin sees this and immediately apologizes, "I am sorry I didn't mean to trigger you again." "It's alright, Xiumin," I tell him, he corrects me, "It's Minseok if you need my support alright?" I nodded, he looks a little closer, making direct eye contact with me just to see on how broken I am inside, Kris tells me, "Kimberly, I am sorry for doing this to you, but he can actually help you with all that mess underneath, so I took a photo only for him to see." "Kris?!" I panicked said, "Why, he is going to probably tell on the others to make fun of me even more." "Why would they or better question why would I ever do that to you?" asked Minseok, "You can trust me with all of your heart." "Even my heart is bruised," I tell them, "I've been neglected so much that every time that I cry for help, she harms me even more to show emotion of me trying to get help from strangers, she never liked me, she hated me always needing my father. She lied in front of the judge saying that my father was the one who did all of that just to torment me even more, now with him out of the picture, she won, and even worse things begin to happen. Nothing seems to make her happy enough, I was never doing things she wanted. I was never enough for her." "This woman, if you saw her again, what would happen?" asked Kris.

I immediately got up out of instinct, fear was showing through, "You did not break her out of prison, did you?" "Wait, he said IF," Minseok reassured me, "It's not like she got bailed out of prison." "You don't know her background, she wanted me to be like her at the age 5, the kind that sleeps with a lot of men?" I asked them if they can figure out what kind of horrible person she was. They eventually got it when I explained to them, "All of her boyfriends would not only ignore her, but they try to leave with me for how she would make me watch it all. They berated her for doing everything that was wrong, one of her boyfriends was a police officer, he didn't even care that I was there. But there was one that never left contact with me and only me, and that was a librarian who never wanted to do anything with her, all but one left her, they all kept in contact with me. I still have their numbers minus the officers number."

They got the picture, "All but one, that should be a very dead giveaway on what she was doing to you." "Oh she noticed that is why she immediately dumps and accuses me of stealing them from her because they want to take care of me instead of wanting to sleep with her," I said to them, "After all of them successfully took me away from her, she only made things worse by saying even if she lost, she is still going to make sure that I don't leave and she locked me in the basement until I learned my lesson." "Who got you out of there?" asked Minseok, "We are only asking so you can freely tell us on your own time, but if you ready enough to tell us, grab one of us and we will listen." "Which is your lucky day, it's only the EXO M members staying behind so you got nothing to worry about," said Kris, "You can fully trust Chen, myself, Xiumin, Lay, and Luhan, Tao is getting there for you, but he is there to support you." I nodded knowing that Yixing would drop anything to be my shoulder to cry on, I got a call from one of her many boyfriends, the Librarian was calling me, I picked up, "Hello Jeremy." "Let's skip the introductions but all of us are here to wanting to speak to you about a certain someone," said Jeremy. I put him on speaker, "I got a question for you all, do some of you know Korean?" "A little," they all say.

I told them that I joined a group that can help me through this mess that I am stuck under, Kris said in English, "I can fully speak English, I don't know about Minseok." "Oh, so you can translate for Minseok," I tell him. Minseok said, "I can listen you know." "Anyways, I was actually telling them how caring you guys were with me while being with someone like her," I said to them, "So, I want to make sure that I know that you guys were actually try to get her out of her nature and be a motherly role model." "No, we did not say anything like that," said the doctor, "We all agreed that we were actually trying to distract her enough for one of us to capture you so you can get away from her." "Sadly, those did not last long, she would always come back for only me," I said, "Did I tell you all that she accused me of stealing you guys?" "I'm sorry, she did not accuse you for HER OWN doings?" asked Jeremy, "You have got to be kidding me, she really did all of that?" "I didn't say anything because she actually threatened to end my life if I didn't listen to her," I said to them, "What really saved my life was when I said that she was never my mother and I was adopted by you, Jeremy." "That is when she threw you in the basement and she went to check on you to only see me with you when you said it," said Jeremy.

Chapter 4

I went to join everybody after I recollected my surrounding on where I am, with makeup on, just to see on how everyone else would react to my Emerald Green eyes. But I can’t ever shake the feeling of being yelled at for not being awake at a certain time, I walked into the living room, sat in my chair, trying not to look at anyone. When I looked, it was just the K members, that's right, the group is somewhat divided into 2. EXO M and EXO K, great, now I can bond with half and someday I can do the same with the other half of the group. Kai was the one who sees a major change, "Hey, have we established that it's impossible for us to change our eye color?" "Why do you ask?" asked Sehun. He pointed to my sparkling green eyes, I looked around, "What's wrong with them? I can put my contacts back in." "Wait you were wearing contacts to hide those?" I nodded, Baekhyun asked, "Why did you hide those?" "I can't figure out why I started to hide these to begin with," I said, "I've been told that I can never be loved with these eyes being this color." "So much for being honest with us," said Chanyeol, "We want full honestly." I was shocked, "How can I be if I'm beginning to? Remember what I said yesterday, you are on thin ice, Chan."

After that, no one bothered talking to me, great, I've lost trust from them, I went to the building to bury this hurt that I have caused, I warned them. I went into the dance practice rooms where I walked into seeing 9 guys, one sees me, walks over to me, "You have beautiful eyes, have we met before?" "I'm with EXO," I tell him, "But you look familiar actually. Are you the one that they call Lee Donghae?" "Indeed, I am," he said, we both bowed. Oh great, I'm in the prescence of Suju, maybe this is my time to get some growth, "Hey, I have a couple questions, and it's extremely important." "I might have answers," he said, "But everyone might hear your questions." "How do I tell my group that I'm trying to be honest by giving little piece of information about my traumatic childhood?" "Traumatic? What are you talking about?" asked Donghae. I sighed, "I hid my eyes because someone told that I look like a wh*re for how highly pigmented my eyes are." "Whoa, that's very harsh for someone to tell you that," said Leeteuk, "Did any of the members tell you this?" "No, a woman who is in jail for life told me that," I said to them, "She never loved me for being her daughter, she always abandoned me ever since she thought that she had me wanting to become someone who sleeps with a lot of men." "Oh whoa, that is very heavy," said Eunhyuk, "Are you sure that you are ready for this?"

"Somehow I feel so loved around you guys," I said to them, "I am just as surprised as you all are." I was never this talkative towards my own group, maybe something about them made me feel so protected, Kyuhyun asked, "Would you like to join us for lunch?" "Sure, if you guys don't mind me tagging along," I said. He goes, "I wouldn't have asked if we didn't." "Fair point," I said, "What should I say to my group when they walk in?" "Nothing, let us handle it," said Leeteuk, "You are healing from a traumatic childhood, and we are making sure that nothing bad happens to you. If you feel like you are getting a sense of paranoia, come to us and we will help you out." I jumped for joy, well, inside anyway because I finally have an escape to release this all inside of me, I followed them. Oh shoot, I was spotted by Baekhyun, he shouted, "Yah! Shadow!" "Damn it," I mumbled under my breath, Ryeowook sees my expression change from being full to empty, the guys walked up to me, I asked, "What do you guys want?" "Why are you with Suju?" asked Chanyeol, "They are not your group." "And? They offered me to go with me," I said, "Believe me or not, I am not your property so back off!"

"Wait, we didn't say anything along those lines," said Kai, "We should've rephrased that, guys, she needs to feel a part of this company, leave her alone." "Kai is right," said Siwon, "Leave her alone, she is with us." So off I go with Super Junior, go eat or something along those lines, I kept finding myself looking at the farmlands that this country has. Donghae sees this, "You live in the country or the city?" "I'm from the country part of America, I am always calm when I see any farming material or crop fields," I tell him. Then I hear a song from Josh Turner, called Long Black Train. I sang along to the song, we pulled into a driveway, Donghae opened up my door, "We are doing you a big favor. Natalie kept saying that you have a freak dream of becoming a farmer." I rolled my eyes, "I would rather not hear her name ever again." "Noted," said Siwon, "Can we have your number so we can keep contact with each other?" "Oh, well, of course," I said, then I gave them my only number that I set up for myself. Donghae nods, "We'll be nearby if you decided to join us once you are done with your favorite thing in the whole wide world." I giggled, I kept on walking towards the field of wheat, the owner that owns the land comes over, "Excuse me, miss, but I can't help but asking for your help with my field." "Of course, just lead me to the harvester and header, I'll take it from here," I said to him.

He nods, not arguing with me, I got in the harvester and began to wheat harvest. The smell of wheat is extremely calming for me I really needed this for a while, I was recieving a call from my personal manager, I turned off the harvester, I picked up, "Hello?" "Where are you right now?" she asked, "Your group is waiting for you." "I'm with Super Junior, why do I have to check in with you on what I am doing?" I asked. There was a silent pause, then I hear the CEO, "You are in a field of wheat, aren't you?" "Yes, sir, they dropped me off and the owner of the field offered my help," I said. Then he hung up by saying, "See you later then." Then Siwon messaged me saying, that they are settling on what I should be doing, I'm sorry, I thought I need to tell them on what I need help with, not tell me what I should be doing. I called the manager back, she asked angrily, "What do you want, Kimberly?" "I don't want my own manager, since I am going to be doing my own thing, what is the point? It's not like you get to force me to be in a certain genre of music without my say so," I tell her off, "I'm going remain in the Rock genre until I get tired of it, you don't get to say I can't otherwise, first Natalie now you? What are you, her sister? Or mother? What is going on here?" She was dead silent, the CEO asked, "What were you planning, Manager Belinda?" "Why are you defending her?" she asked.

"Uh, excuse me, do you realize that you talked back to the CEO? The man who can fire you if you mess up on something," I said to her, "As a matter of fact, what happened to the manager that was assigned to me? I do not like this tone with you, Miss Princess." "How dare you speak to someone who is higher than you?!" she asked. I widely grinned on what I just made her do, "I'll hang up now." I hung up and continue to harvest the wheat field, I saw a van pull up and it was my favorite manager the one who assigned to me, she saw on how calm I am being while harvesting the wheat. Once I got done harvesting the wheat, I dumped everything into a trailer of an eighteen-wheeler, I parked the harvester where it was originally, gave the farmer the harvester keys, he thanked me, "Can you take the grain to the mill? I'll pay you half of the money that is given to me." "Oh alright, you don't have to do that, I'm doing this from the kindness of my heart," I tell him. He insisted, "I've heard that you had nowhere else to go, it will be my most pleasure of putting you in my will of getting my farm business."

It surprised me that a farmer is wanting me to look after his farm when he passes, I always wanted to achieve my goal in farming. I called Donghae, he answered, "Hello?" "This is the right number? Am I talking to Lee Donghae?" I asked. He answered, "This is him speaking, Miss Shadow, are you willing to join us?" "I was letting you know that I am going back to the dorm of my group, thank you for letting me relax and become myself once again," I said. He welcomed me, I went to my best friend, my manager, "I'm ready to head back." "May I say this, but you have the most beautiful eyes," she said, "Why were you hiding them?" "I was told that I would never be loved with these kinds of eyes," I tell her, "I was called so many names that this woman kept calling me, she knew every trigger that she inflicted upon me, that woman, I can never forgive for what she has done."

Chapter 3

When I finished building my vanity, I noticed that my progress was getting slower and slower, maybe Kris had a point on what he said. I got up to get my stuff ready to go, when I opened the front door, Kris was waiting for me, "You thought that no one would wait for you?" "Why are you being nice to me all of a sudden?" I asked, "If you are going to do something towards me, let it happen, I've been through this process." "Good, then let's go, everyone is waiting for you," he said, "We can take your Camaro." "As long as that I am always driving my baby," I said, clutching onto my car keys. Kris looks at me, "Why would I take your car from you? I'm trying to connect with you." "Don't try then," I muttered. I was driving while he was in the passenger seat, leading me to where everyone was at, once we got there, "We reserved a table for you alone." "We?" I asked, he answered, "Kyungsoo and myself, we are looking out for you." "Thanks, I guess," I said. We walked into the place and was looking for the members of this group, I felt so outcasted every time that I am invited to do anything with these guys. I never been to a big city such as Seoul, I'm always surrounded by fields of many crops, I was just eating like everyone else, what peaked my music ears was hearing Long Black Train from my phone, probably that is either Josh Turner or someone else that is giving me permission to cover some songs.

No one else hears this but myself, I looked at my phone, it was Josh Turner saying that he cannot wait for my take on Long Black Train or any of his songs. I will if I am comfortable enough to unleash my countryside, then Almost Easy played saying that I am getting a pre ordered Hail to the King set, I asked M Shadows about the box being a jewelry box, he said that he will customize another order for me and add it to my collection. I have good connections to many artists and bands, like Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence, Nickelback, Daughtry, and many others. I've never been this happy about the newest album coming out for Avenged Sevenfold. That set will look amazing on my vanity, I've been waiting for anything that relates to Avenged Sevenfold, I do not care what it is. I set my phone down so I could eat, Kris looked over to my direction, "Who messaged you?" "Like I'm going to tell you my own business?" I asked, "Yeah, not going to happen." I wanted to scream out on what is going to be delivered but I do not think that they are ready for that side of me, not yet anyways, I may show them that box as a jewelry box, but that's about it.

I immediately went to my room, noticed that Chanyeol and Tao hauled all the furniture to my room, Kai and Xiumin painted my room to the Dark Purple, I rearranged everything that was in this room, my vanity is near the door that leads to my own bathroom, my bed is staying on where it is, my nightstand, dresser near my bedroom door same with my mirror that came with the dresser, everything is black, my bedframe has poles at every corner. After my room was like my room back in Houston, Texas, I sat in there so I can get a feel for home. I walked out feeling like I belong, I went to where everyone was, Suho was the one to ask, "What's wrong, Shadow?" "What do you mean?" I asked, "I need my alone time after a long day." "That's not what he is asking," said Xiumin, "We are concerned about you." "Why bother? Just focus on yourselves before getting to me," I tell them, "I'll come to you when I need someone to talk to." "Just know that we are here to help you, not harm or judge you," said Kris, "Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol might, but they are never going to laugh at you, they will try to let you see how stupid people would say things." "It's true," said Baekhyun, "I would never make fun of you in harsh times such as whatever trauma someone might have."

Well, that's good to know that no one would make fun of me for having childhood trauma, "Alright thanks for letting me hear that, just know that I do not open up very easy, I'm trying my best to do so, let me open up slowly on MY terms, if any of you crosses that threshold, that's it, no more second chances for you," I said to them. "Why?" he asked. I cleared my throat, "You won't believe anything I say if I tell you." "Probably right," I hear him say. I immediately get a call from Astaroth, I answered, "Astaroth Diablo." "Uh oh, you said my full name, what did I do wrong?" he asked, I answered, "You met my friend Suho, right?" "Oh, um, yeah," he said nervously.

I swear that I heard my voice go demonic when I said, "Hit on any minor and I send Stephanie after you if you keep doing this!" "Whoa okay I got the message," I hear him say, "Plus, I'm not a Succubus, I can control my urges." "Uncle, you are on thin ice right now, get your damn act together!" I said, then hung up on him. I knew that my voice changed, I looked up and everyone is AWAY from me, Kyungsoo asked, "Do you always go demonic?" "Demonic? What are you talking about?" I asked back. Kris said in English, "When you were talking to your uncle, we thought we saw that your eyes changed color from regular eyes to fully black." I was shocked, so I'm relatives with a demon, that's good to somewhat hear, at least that I am not related to that woman. Suho asked gently, "Is this why you won't open up easily?" "What, no, that's totally different," I tell him, "I can freely say that if I had my uncle's permission to say on what he is I would." "What he is, are you saying that he is not human?" asked Baekhyun, "Maybe we can ask him things that he might be able to answer." "You might have a point," I said, "All I know is that Lucifer is probably my uncle as well." "As in, the one who rules Hell?" asked Chanyeol. I nodded, "Exactly."

The next day arrives, I woke up feeling like I can feel pain in my chest, like someone was trying to choke me to death, I was coughing so much, Kyungsoo opened my door, "Shadow, are you alright?" "Help me up please?" I called out. He carefully pulled me off my bed, gently put me on the floor, "What happened?" "I felt someone was trying to choke me to death," I said to him, "Are you sure that I am safe?" "Choking you? What kind of past did you have?" he asked, "And yes you are safe, you shouldn't be experiencing things like this." When I opened up my eyes, he gasped, "Your eyes are beautiful." "Their brown, what are you gasping at?" I asked, he reached over my contacts, "You never put them in yesterday, you always had your sunglasses on." I swore under my breath, "I was told by someone that no one would ever like me with my kind of eyes." "Why would anyone say that to someone like you?" he asked, "Who said that must be very jealous that they wished they had your eyes?" "That is why she tried to choke me to death in my sleep," I tell him. He stopped when he was going to leave my room, he looked back to me, "Who is she?" "A woman who still claims to be my birth mother," I tell him, "She is in jail for life."

Chapter 2

The following morning, I woke up to make some breakfast for myself, I got eggs, bacon, pancake mix, sausages, and muffins. I always have a heart to make breakfast for my family, I asked Kyungsoo, "Would you make a list for me on how everyone likes their eggs done?" "Why? We're going to eat breakfast instead," he said. I held back my emotions showing, "Alright, I'll just be here and meet you guys at the company." I went back to the kitchen, hiding from everyone, eating my breakfast, Uncle Astaroth was calling me, I picked up the call, he said, "Good morning, my little shadowling!" "Hey Uncle," I said, "1st day of being in a group that I might have to grow without you being here." "You know that I can be there, and you never know that I was there," he said, "You keep forgetting that I am an actual Demon from Hell." "How are you still here then?" I asked. He was hesitant, "Uhh, because I want to keep an eye on your father." "Why is it always my father?" I asked him. He got real serious, "He is being punished for marrying that stupid b*tch that we threw in jail." "So, why are you doing the punishing instead of Stephanie?" I asked. He quickly answered, "He made a vow to me, if he did anything to harm my relationship with you while being with that woman, he is mine for eternity." "Oh, well never mind then," I said to him. When we hung up on, I looked behind me, thankfully no one was listening to him saying that he is an actual demon, but after that I see some heads poking out on the right side of the kitchen, "Can I help you guys?" "You are coming with us for breakfast," said Kyungsoo, "We don't want to exclude you." "I'm fine with being alone," I said, "It's not my first time being alone." After being talked into going, I lend some of the guys my music player and the first thing that played was Going Under from Evanescence, I was stared at through the entire song. I had no shame showing through, another tall one named Kris, "Are you seriously listening to this?" I got shame showing through, then he said, "Amy Lee is the best female singer ever, she has the voice that can save someone's life." "Yeah, she saved and turned my life around," I muttered, but I guess Kris heard because I keep finding him looking at me directly with the look of complete worry and concern, as we entered the place that we parked into, I asked to a table for myself, "Is it possible for me to sit near them?" "Yes, we can totally do that for you, ma'am, just follow us and your group," said the hostess. Xiumin asked, "Are you sure that you want a separate table?" "I don't know if I am going to be able to fit in with all you 12," I said, "Besides, I'm fine being alone for right now, it's not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon." I sat in my own table, looking at the items for this place, I ordered my drink and waited for the others to get their orders so I can get mine, then I heard a voice go, "Can the lady next to us have an omelet with cheddar cheese and ham, hash browns, and wheat toast?" Then I was pointed at because the waitress looked at me, looked back at who said it, pointed at me, then nods, apparently, they have my favorite breakfast item. I bend over to the group, "How did any of you found out about my favorite breakfast meal?" "You were handing that list to me, and I saw it," said Kyungsoo, "You are welcome." "Oh, uh, thanks for doing that," I said, went back to doing whatever I was doing. After all that was said and done, the nice manager looked to me, "The CEO wanted me to give you something." "What is it?" I asked. She hands me a check, which was 50,000,000,000 won, in USD it's 37,815,000, which is a lot for someone like me, "Why is he giving this to only me?" "So, you can get whatever makes you feel like home here," she said, "We are going on a shopping trip, and you can purchase anything you only like." "Good because I love spooky stuff," I said to her, "Just as long as I have that, I am good with what I got." "You like being spooky?" asked Sehun. I looked at him, "Yeah, what seems to be the problem? I'm here to stay, you are not getting rid of me that easily." "I didn't say anything along those lines!" he said. I rode with the Chinese members of the group, Kris was still looking at me, I finally asked him, "Why do you keep staring at me?" "Oh, sorry about that, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," he said, looking away finally. We went to the shopping mall that was in the city, I got out first, the nice manager that only manages me, she gave me a wallet with all that won inside. "Make sure that you get what you need," she said. I nodded, I finally went inside of the inside mall, my first instinct was to find Hot Topic and GameStop, I got my PS3 being mailed to me, so I am super excited about playing on it again, my favorite game is Call of Duty Black OPs 2, only because of Carry On from Avenged Sevenfold, I am not getting Skyrim until more updates to the game are in it. I spent 25,000,000 on these items alone, when I gave the wallet back, she said, "This was a gift from him." "But I need to pay him back in some way," I said. She tells me, "He wants you to get your own car, he picked out the one you've been wanting to get." "A Black Camaro? He shouldn't have to do anything for me," I tell her. When we went to the dealership, it was my baby from America, I went to it, "This is my baby from the USA!" "Oh, so you don't need to buy this," she said, "Well, in that case, this money can be used for anything, he said that you don't need to pay him back this is from the bottom of his heart." I've never felt this so protected by a stranger who is a Ceo of my group, "I'll thank him when I see him." I went back to the dorm so I could put all my stuff in my room, it took 30 minutes for me to bring everything inside, then I went to get to permission to paint the entire room of mine, the manager said, "You need my permission for anything, my dear. what color do you need for your room?" "Dark Purple, I was hoping to do a full makeover of that room, since everyone is busy doing their own thing, I'm going to take this time to do what I got to do," I said to her. She understood on why I am doing this, I do not have a place of my own or know a relative that lives near by this big ass mansion like dorm, she went to the Korean version of Lowe's or Home Depot store to get me that Dark Purple and Black paint, hopefully getting what I need for myself to feel like I am at home at last, but it is filled up with me and 12 guys alone, this is going to be a very fun ride of a journey for myself. When I was pulling out objects for my soon-to-be vanity for my makeup products, I spotted that the members were back from somewhere and I am doing handwork stuff that is very easy for me. Chen asked, "What are you doing down there?" "Building up my vanity, then after this I'm going to be working on my dressers and nightstand," I tell them all, "Why?" "Oh nothing," he said, "We were wondering if you would go out to eat with us." "I'll eat once I am done with all this," I said to him, still not making eye contact because I have no makeup on and don't have my brown contacts in my eyes to cover up my Emerald Green Eyes, "I'll meet you guys there when I am done." "Alright, take care of yourself though," said Kris. I almost choked on my own breath, he said it in a way that he knows that something is completely wrong with me and why I am being this way. I can never get close to anyone; they will only get hurt by what is about to be revealed.

Prologue; Ch2

Chapter 1

Well here I am, in Seoul, South Korea, I hope that I can begin my music career, I've been reached out by music labels from the ones that produces Nickelback and Avenged Sevenfold, but the one that stuck out to me was the one that produces the groups SHINee and Super Junior, SM Entertainment, but I don't want to join a group that I have to wait to debut, I want to join a group that has already debuted so that group has a starting point on where they want to go as long as they support each other. When I walked in, it felt so surreal for me, until I was spotted by my very toxic friend, Natalie, "Hey Kimmie!" "How many times do I keep telling you to never call me that?" I asked, I never once liked her. The Egg Donor forced me to be friends with her, she stuck her nose up, "Don't tell me what to do, freak!" That made me so hurt inside, then I heard, "Yah! Natalie, get back to manage your group that you were assigned to!" "Yes sir," she said, in a panic tone. I was greeted by the CEO of this company, "How may I help you?" "Can you keep her away from me? She is very toxic towards me," I said to him. He nods, "She has been telling her version that you were the one being toxic." "That should've been a giveaway," I tell him, "Oh, where are my manners, I am so incredibly sorry about that." "Oh no you are fine," said the CEO, "Thank you for confirming on Natalie's nature so we can contact her brother." "She has a brother?" I asked. He nods, "He is in another company. We hired her because she was becoming someone's nightmare." "Which happens to be me," I tell him, "My name is Kimberly Fyre Washington. I can go by Shadow if you would prefer a nickname for me." "Shadow it is then," said the CEO. I was following him for my interveiw or audition, he stopped by saying, "By the way, the way you sing as what I hear from you being a victim of something, no audition needed." "Can I join a group?" I asked. He pondered for a while, "We have this new group that just launched their debut, their group is called EXO." "Sounds like the perfect group for me," I said to him, "Where is their dorm so I could get settled in?" "In a little bit, but let me show where the dance rooms are and everything else," he said. He gave me a full tour of everything in this one building, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to make some calls on Natalie's situation." "Alright," I said, sitting in the back of one of the dance rooms. I roamed around for a bit, then a manager of the group came up to me, "Ms Shadow?" "Yes?" I faced the manager. She motioned me over to her, "I know that this your first time being here but if you would please follow me to your group so you can get to know them." "As long as I get my own room," I said to her. She looks at me, "The CEO has a special spot for you, he already arranged a new dorm for everyone, he read your file." Is this really happening? Am I being protected by a f*cking CEO of a music company? The answer is yes but not for long, well I told him to stop being protective over me because I need some time to breath. I was lead to a big isolated dorm, she said to me, "Everyone is trying to figure out why they moved to this big house like dorm. It's because you are being protected by the CEO, he is treating you like he would if you were his child." "I will thank him later," I said, getting out of the van, "Just know that I like doing things privately. I need my alone time, if I don't get that, I begin to lose it because of what happened to me 4 years ago." "What happened 4 years ago?" she asked. I tell her, "I can't tell anyone yet, not until I'm in a position to be fully ready." I went inside and there are voices everywhere, I instantly wanted to back out of there, but the door was closed and locked, I sweared under my breath, I slowly creeped up the hallway, no sight of anyone just yet, more voices getting loud as I got near. When I got close, I saw a very tall guy talking to a short guy, their eyes locked on me, I froze, one of them asked, "Are you the new one that we heard about?" I nodded, the short one quickly got close to me, I backed up immediately out of instinct, the tall one said, "Easy, he's trying to greet you, I'm Chanyeol and this is Baekhyun." "I go by Shadow," I tell him, "That's all I'm giving you." "Noted," said Chanyeol. I went to find an empty room that was already entered by 5 guys who were debating who gets it, I cleared my throat, "Excuse me, gentleman." They looked at me, one of them sassed, "What do you want?" "I was going to take this room for myself, I don't share with anyone," I tell them. The 4 got my message in their heads, the one who sassed me, "You are not going to last long here." Then he left, I sighed in relief, I closed the door and was remaining in there until I can remember on basic human needs of course. I walked to where the living room was located and every one of this group was in the room, there is no chance of me sitting on the floor. One guy spotted me, "Shadow, right?" I nodded, then he walked up to me, "My name is Kai, but call me Jongin if you want to, sweetie." I immediately pinned him up against the wall, "Call me that again, and see what happens!" He apologized and went away from me instantly, this trauma of mine has got to stop! I wanted to let him know that I am sorry but something is telling me that it should never happened in the beginning. I went to the kitchen to find somewhere quiet, I began to make my home country's favorite dish, Spaghetti with Garlic bread for me alone, I heard someone coming in this direction in a rush, I locked eyes with him, he asked, "Are you the one cooking something?" "Yeah, it's garlic bread and spaghetti, I've been learning how to cook ever since I was 14," I tell him, "No need to worry about me burning the place." "You know that you are safe with us right?" he asked, "We can make room for you, if that's what you were wondering." "I just like my own space, I don't like being crowded, I can tolerate loud noises but they put me through a traumatic past of mine, I can't handle anything until someone gives me proof that I am in a safe place where I can go to someone who will never talk down to me or tell me that I can't be a human being if I show any emotion," I ranted, "So do not tell me anything that triggers me, simply let me be for a while and only offer that might interest me." "Alright," he said, "I'm Kyungsoo by the way, my stage name is D.O. You have no worries about me, you need to watch out for Baekhyun, Chanyeol, and Chen." "Why only those 3?" I asked. As soon as I asked that, I hear 3 screaming boys from the living room, I immediately went into panic mode, Kyungsoo, who spots this happening and went to the origins were, and dead silence after. Kai came around the corner, "Are you alright, Shadow?" I held on to a knife, "Stay away from me." "Whoa whoa, easy, I was told to check up on you by Kyungsoo," he said. I let the knife go, "I'll be in my room if you need me." I went into my room to calm down, I need to get a hold of myself, no one is going to keep having me around when awards come around, no one wants to hear my kind of music. I got my iPod out and started to listen to Evanescence, I love Amy Lee, she has that voice that I am wanting to achieve in life, but she said that my voice is 2nd best when I showed her my cover of Bring Me To Life and Everybody's Fool. Amy Lee is basically my hero when I had no one to listen to, minus my uncle, but he was always with my father. I heard a knock on my door, "Come in." Kyungsoo gently walked in, "Are you doing alright?" "I'll be fine," I said, "I've been alone all these years, I never had a motherly role model, so I never knew what I am yet." "You'll find yourself, I believe in you," he said, "Just know that you always have me in your corner, no matter what." "Thanks, but I don't want you to get hurt if you get close to me," I said to him, "I've never been easy to be friends with." "I'm only saying that if you need someone to talk to, come to me or our eldest member Xiumin," said Kyungsoo, "We will make sure that you are getting the help you need in order to grow with us." "Thanks, I'll take that offer another time when I am ready enough to tell anyone," I said to him. He chuckled, "No one is ever fully ready to say on what trauma they had to bear. Just let yourself grow before you damage yourself."

Prologue

It has been 4 years ever since that traumatic day, my uncle has been taking care of me ever since then, he has done everything to make sure that I remain close to him because he is still facing the repercussions of that day. I was turning 14 that year, my birthday is on the very last day of every year. It’s December 31st, I never have to rush about it because it’s always remembered by my uncles, my stepmother Stephanie has taken the role of mother because she knows on what her sister has done. My uncle is married to my father Jordan, him and Stephanie has an open marriage, Jordan is very much a bottom while Uncle Astaroth is a 100% a top so he and father are always “busy” when I am trying to relearn everything. Thankfully, I know on what is going on in the basement, Uncle Astaroth never wanted me to go down there, ever since I was stripped down there thanks to that egg donor of mine. Stephanie has always made sure that they are out when I am around but that doesn’t stop Astaroth from making my father very erected by using a strange tool to make him stumble on his words. I never knew that my uncle is an actual demon! He is an Incubus, and my father so happens to be his plaything, but he leaves Stephanie alone? So, I asked him finally, “Why do you never play with Stephanie?” “She terrifies me,” he said, “Do you think that I have to ask her that?” “She’s been sad ever since you always spent time with only my father,” I said, “Why only my father?” “I told you that I am only attracted to men, didn’t I?” he asked. I shook my head, “I was never told this.” “You were never told?” he asked, “Why else have I have playing with him immensely?” "Good point, plus it's not like you being an Incubus was the reason why that woman assaulted our good relationship, right?" I asked, wanted to make sure that was never her intention. He froze, "I've never thought of that actually, you may be on to something that never cross my mind on why she did to harm my good terms with you? She never liked you being around me because I AM a Incubus, I wonder if that was a way to control us on becoming like her but I steered you right away from being in that direction of what she wanted you to be." "You hooked up with my father after that awful incident, was that to teach me a lesson?" I asked. His eyes went wide open, "Ah Hell NAH!!! I never wanted to do that to you in the beginning!! She has messed you up big time! Now you know why I have full custody of you!" "For what though?" I asked, "You never told me why you got full custody of me." He knew that he blew it, and I should've known from that time because turns out that my mother wanted him to get me back to her and reconnect with her, but he covered it by saying, "So you can begin your music career, right? You did say that you want to share your music out in the world." "Thanks, that means so much for me," I said to him, not knowing why he did say that. He booked a flight and paid a hotel room for me to stay for a week in South Korea so I can be familiar with everything which is going to be a very long time because I do not know anyone from that country, celebrities maybe, but no relatives live in that country. This is the start of me finding my true passion and find a way to look for my missing twin sister because Stephanie told me while I was living them, she said that I have a twin sister, she is currently being cared by Sailors and Marines, she is always on the sea, not once has she gone on land, she tried once but she only has another 26 years to get on land again, she can be on the docks but never step on solid ground. Once I find her, I can try to break her out of that curse of her’s but she said to never worry, she'll wait it out, only when she reaches the age of 18 or 24 years of age, the curse will be over. Stephanie has looking for loopholes for my twin, apparently the one who cursed her happens to be Zeus, she was not happy, as a matter of fact, she was so angry that Uncle Astaroth had to stop playing with my father because it was getting so intense for anyone to ignore on what was going on.

I got most of my stuff moved over to my old home, Belle notices this and doesn't say a word because it feels right when I still live in the house that started this journey. I've noticed that Myeon found a cherry blossom tree and planted it in front of the house, "Thanks Myeon." "No problem, just thought I would improve the beauty a little bit," he said. I walked to where the others would be.

Suho sees me, "Ah, Lindsey, I've noticed you asked the tree of life for something." "Yes, I asked her to transport the house that I used to live in here, so I could remember the start of this whole journey," I said, "Plus, if he asks, Chanyeol is not allowed to move over there." "Why?" he asked. I pointed at the 6, "It's already a full house."

He got the idea quick, I'm serious about trying to see if Chanyeol is still loyal to me, if I remained by Yeol's side, I hope to trigger something. Once everyone was out, Chanyeol made his way over to sit right next to me but was blocked by both Yeol and Baekkie, he just shrugged and decided to sit next to Luhan and Sehun.

Then Yeol moved a piece of my bangs away from my face, and sure enough that triggered Chanyeol, his eyes were starting to change color. When the 6 were following me to gaze at the stars, Chanyeol shouted, "HEY YEOL!!!" We all turned around, Yeol asked, "What do you want?" "Get away from my woman!" he shouted back.

Yeol shouted, "No, as far as I'm aware you are remaining at Shadow's place until further notice!" "Who told this lie?" he asked. The 6 looked at me, I tell him, "I need my space, as far as this relationship goes, I'm friendzoning you until you get your act together." I turned away and walked to my old home with the 6, leaving Chanyeol surprised that I friendzoned him.

I walked away to the original house that started this all, I went into deep thought as to what should I do in order for Shadow to feel safe around everyone and spend time with her boyfriend, Vernon and the 17 pack. She needs help, like we need to stop whatever we are doing and focus on what we need in order for her to be welcomed everywhere.

Nini walked in, same with the 5, sees me thinking about the state that Shadow is currently in right now, he asked, "Should we focus on her or the Red Force?" "If we focus on them, she won't be able to help us, she didn't aid us on the last fight," I told them, "This has come to an end, you will have no choice in the matter." "I wasn't suggesting that, but I was making sure that you will make sure that she gets what she is wanting all along," said Nini.

I nodded knowing that Shadow is hiding her true self underneath all her tough girl act, I mean Kris is tough but he is not that tough like her. It's something that we outta do for the sake of her and everyone's future. Myeon suggested, "We can seduce her out of it?" "And risk of losing her trust?" I asked. He got the idea quick, Yeol, Hunnie and Baekkie were thinking, Nini suggested, "My only suggestion is still developing, maybe ask someone who is close with her."

I walked out of the house with Yeol and Nini, I tell them, "Stay here, guard the area." They nod, I began to make my way towards the campfire, I see Kyungsoo walking towards the area, "What's up, Lindsey?" "I was wondering are you close with Shadow?" I asked. He nods, "She is slowly getting comfortable here. Her and Vernon are not actually together, they have a brother and sister kind of relationship." "Between you and him, who is the closest to her?" I asked. His answer, "I think Vernon, she was there before she came here." "Make sense," I sighed. He asked, "Is there a reason?" "Trying to make her finally have some peace," I said, "I want to end her suffering once and for all."

As I was walking to where Shadow will probably be, I was stopped by Kris saying, "She might want to be alone for right now. She'll open up eventually." "But when is the question, she can keep us in the dark," I tell him, "Wait why are you defending her?" "I may have developed a protection feel towards her ever since she came here," he says, "I think that she might need someone who she can trust on more." "But she keeps on saying that she is still with Vernon from Seventeen pack," says Luhan.

I shook my head, "Something is definitely wrong with her situation." "She is right that this is a very different situation from all the battles we've had thus far," says Yixing, "But where can we lead on?" "She might be somewhere far from the Tree of Life," I said, "Maybe something inside of her might give us something to lead on." "Inside of the Tree?" asked Tao, "Shadow was living inside of Her?" "Yeah, this was before I gave her that manison to her," I tell him.

Kris followed me to the Tree of Life, she asked, "What is it, my children?" "We need to get into Shadow's room, we need to find clues that can lead us to ending her suffering," I said to her. With that, she opened, we both went inside, I walked around the room, it feels so warm and welcoming. Kris started to search on her dresser and desk, I went to look for everything else. I spotted a jewelry box, I took it out and opened to seeing just rings, necklaces, and earrings. "Anything?" he asked, I shook my head, "Just jewelry." "Jewelry? Never pictured her being into jewelry," he said.

He raised a great point, I looked at the rings again, Kimberly only wears skull rings, and her earrings are all bats. I saw one necklace that she always wears the Tree of Life necklace. Then we hear her ask, "What are you guys doing here?" "Kimberly," Kris said, being startled, "Why are you here?" "It's my alone space," she said, defensively. She has every right to get defensive with us invading her space, I simply said, "We are just trying to help you out, Shadow, we don't want to be left in the dark." "I was missing that necklace," she said, looking at the necklace that I was holding, "It was in that box?" "Yeah," I said, "Why?" "Leave it out, burn the box," she said, "He must be looking for it."

"Who is this he, Shadow?" asked Kris, "We deserve to know." "And you will, just not now," she said. Then he grabs her by the wrist, that scared her and me, but I guess that she has severe trauma from this guy, I tell Kris, "Let her go, Kris." "Why should I? She has been giving us little information about this guy," he said. I shouted at him, "That doesn't give you the right to be entitled to control on what she gives out!" Yeah, that stopped him quick, "I am so sorry Shadow. Just don't keep us out of your life, we are here to help you."

She looks at him, breathes heavily, "First can you let me go?" "Yeah, absolutely," he said, letting her wrist go, "What else?" "I'll give information when you burn that jewelry box," she said. I went to her, "I am going to give this to Belle, she's wanting more jewels to burn."

After Shadow had her melt down, I'm guessing she is wanting to be called by her real name, so I asked, "May I call you by your actual name in this situation?" "I'm fine being called Shadow, besides I don't want to share what I've been called by other than being called a freak, I'm used to that," she said. Baekkie asked, "What's her real name?" "Her real name is Kimberly Fyre Washington," I said to him.

Nini asked, "So, Fyre, what made you so upset?" "Well, um it's a serious situation but on a emotional level," she said, "I'm basically hiding from someone that's trying to find me." "Why were you hiding this from us?" asked Xiumin, "We could've helped you on what is you are going through." "Like I said, my situation is nothing compared on what we had done, with the 2 battles of the Red Force soldiers and all that, no, my situation is a completely different story and on a very different level," said Shadow.

"We understand if it will take a few days for you to tell us," I said to her, "Just take your time, there's no rushing you, you are safe here, no one is going to harm you." "Yeah, no one is going to harm me, not yet anyways," said Shadow. That took us by surprise, someone's hurting her? I hope it's not all that bad but it completely changed my mind when she said this, "I've been a previous relationship that was not healthy at all, it was so bad, this guy was treating me horrible." "Thanks I'll have to think on that," said Shadow, "Besides, this was not easy I had to think of a better way to bring this all up but I guess this time was right." "I'm going hold on to that because I might need that because I told you guys that I just came back from the Seventeen pack right?" she asked. We nodded, she said in a panicky voice, "My friend Mingyu told me to come back here because they think that my ex is on the move on finding me and hurt me even worse because I wrote him a letter saying that I deserve better than what he had done to me."

"He's after you? How? When?" asked Suho, sounding very on the alert. Shadow said, "I don't know that's why I'm waiting for him to update on his whereabouts. The 17 pack is doing this is because they want me to finally living my life without living in fear because that's what I've been living my life on in fear on what's going to happen to me next." "Don't worry Myeon does that once in a while," said Baekkie, "But yeah, Miss Shadow, since you are in a very rough situation we can protect you and nothing will stand in our way." "I don't want to do that to Lindsey," said Shadow.

"Hey, I'm letting them because they know that I trust you knowing that you would come around soon," I said, "Plus, it's his first decision to make without my judgement which means he really wants you to finally be at ease." "Oh wow, I can't believe that I did that," said Baekkie. I told him, "No backing out now." "I know but I want to feel what it's like making my own choice without being told no and being like a puppet," said Baekkie. Yeol had to gonk Baekkie on the head, "I don't like those word choices you made." "Right, sorry," said Baekkie, rubbing the area Yeol just hit him in.

Shadow said again, "It's only a matter of time before he actually finds me here and I might have to run away again, but I have no where to go." "There's the Super Junior, BTS, and SHINee packs, I'll lead you to where they are if he gets close," I offered. I saw a glimpse of hope in her eyes, we are willing to do everything we can for her to be able to relax finally and settle down for once in her life.

I was walking alongside of my side basically I'm taking my time walking to my home, then I noticed that I was remembering on what was going on with me before I joined this pack, I looked back and at my house then headed towards on where this whole journey began. No one was watching me do this because I would like to remember on how I met these guys and how we started to trust each other.

Then I saw my old previous house, I walked in and felt like it was my home, everything was left untouched. I remembered where everything was, I went to where my old bedroom was then I noticed that there was a note on my old desk, I read it and instantly remembered on what happened to me. I only trusted Chanyeol, Kai, and Xiumin because they were promising me that my life with them would change everything and it did change thanks to the Tree of Life.

"I knew you would be here," I heard Kai's voice. I looked and asked, "Did you follow me here?" "No, I knew that you weren't in your other home so I decided to teleport to the house where our friendship began," he said, "I teleported in here without knowing that you were changing into your pajamas." "Yeah, thankfully I did not tell Chanyeol," I said to him, "Otherwise, you are burnt ashes if he finds out, though he will soon enough." "Lindsey!!" he said, in a panicked voice. I said, "Look, Shadow is a very vulenrable state, we need to make sure that we do not keep secrets or unsaid things while she is in this fragile state."

I took the time to think on some things, and then I went back to base but can't seem to move away from where the place were this crazy journey began. I need to ask the tree of life if she can move it so Shadow could have my other home but it's too big for me and it's making me feel like the guys are making me forget on where this began in the first place. So, I went to her first and asked, "Ma'am, can I ask for a favor?" "What is it, my dear?" she asked.

"Can you move her old house over here?" asked Kai. I looked at Kai and he gave me a warm smile, he's doing this for me. Then she said, "It will be done in a few minutes for you, Lindsey, you need to tell on what is ever on your mind to everyone so you can help out Kimberly." I nodded and looked at Kai, "Kai, at first I didn't have any feelings for Chanyeol in the beginning of all of this, I had a tiny crush on you but then I saw love in Chanyeol's eyes and decided that you weren't the one for me." "Thanks for clearing that up for me," said Kai, "Now, I feel slightly embarrassed about that."

Then I went to Baekhyun, Chen, and Sehun, "Baekhyun, when I first saw you, I thought you were younger than Sehun and I didn't know that you were such a mood maker." "Why, thank you," said Baekhyun. I said to Chen, "Chen, I hope your girl would be the best for you because you deserve the best in this cruel world." "Aww, thank you, Lindsey," said Chen. I looked at Sehun, "Sehun, you are lucky to have someone that makes you happy that you would return the favor because there has to be balance in every relationship. Sehun, no pun intended but blow this girl away with just being yourself."

I told everyone on what I wanted to tell them from the heart, I haven't went to Nini, Yeol, Baekkie, Chennie, Myeon, Hunnie, Shadow, and Chanyeol. I do not know on where Shadow went, she's probably with the Tree of Life which I understand that she wants to be alone for now. I went to Chanyeol, he's talking to Baekhyun like he always do everyday, every time he talks to Baekhyun he tends to not notice me when I try to get his attention. This time I didn't even bother, I was still upset at him for treating the 6 like they are not welcomed.

I noticed that my old house was finally here, so I went to it and felt complete again, I read that all of my stuff was transferred over here, same with Nini's stuff, Baekkie's stuff, Myeon's stuff, Yeol's stuff, Hunnie's stuff, and Chennie's stuff. So, I led the 6 over to their temporary home, Nini said, "This is great that you have this tranported." "Well, the one over there is getting too much for me to handle," I said, "Plus I don't want to forget the house that started this all." "This is true," said Baekkie, "I had a feeling on where you were." "Yeah," I muttered.
