Jenn's Journey #1

*record scratch* yup, that's me. begrudgingly coming back to tumblr after what? 7 years? It seems strange after all these years to come home to an old friend, almost like coming home for your 25th high school reunion or something. The streets are still the same as you remember it but you no longer live there, your parent's house once holding all those emotions of your youth.

In the time I've been gone, I've done a lot of living. And I think that's what makes me so nervous to come back here specifically, it's something I swore I'd never return to, but I guess this was meant to be. I wanted to document this journey I've been going on, away from the website. It's not a good business model to let your product reflect just how terrified you are. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

So I'm talking about voltagelive.com, my pride and joy. Something I've spent 3 years meticulously building and in the last year growing with an amazing team. We've built something pretty special, a community and a platform to help uplift and empower those in the creative entertainment space who would not have access to resources otherwise. We've now taken the steps to become an official non-profit.

This is the next logical step for Voltage Live. I'm waiting on the paperwork to be official before I announce anything on the main channels. This seemed like a safe enough space to do it
