lance is the prettyboy frontman. the sex symbol

keith is the “bad boy” with a heart of gold

bc hes really a loser

he also wears the weirdest clothes hes disgusting

like skin-tight black jeans with silver fishnet stockings ON TOP and a hot pink crop top and like the most edgy black pump combat boots youve ever seen

hunk is the pure sweetheart whos just adorable and good and the embodiment of niceness

shiro is the mature dad figure that every mom and dad thinks is hot

(bc he is)

pidge is the androgynous smartass who can rap like no ones business

allura is their manager and coran is their stylist

(hence keiths disgusting garb)

haters think theyre dysfunctional but lovers say theyre the new spice girls

lotor and his crew are rival performers and they always leak fake shit to the media to destroy their rep

the media always compares the two

think like 1D vs. 5sos

but with way more inside drama

lots of people ship lance and keith together bc of their dynamic, but of course the stans think otherwise

lance stans think keith is the worst one in the group and that in order for lance to shine he needs to leave. that hes dragging the whole group down. also who the fuck dresses like that?!!!

keith stans think lance is annoying as shit and not talented. theyre convinced hes only there bc he had a thing going on with allura and she owes him. they think hes stereotypical and boring

(the truth is that keith started the band and it was unanimous that lance be the frontman amongst every member)

(also, maybe pidge saw them making out behing a venue once. maybe not. who knows)

fans love pidge bc they are #1 when it comes to fanservice

pidge stans are the theorists. they know when an album is coming out before the band does

hunk stans are the only sane fans. they care about the music more than anything really

everyone agrees that shiro is the dad of the band but shiro likes to see himself as the cool older brother

they name the band voltron bc of a story shiro told them all during their first rehearsal

(lance didnt vote for it though. he had his mind set on “lancey lance and the cadets”)

lotor tries to divide them constantly, always saying that keith should be the frontman. that if keith joined his band, he could have it all

it never works obviously. keith and everyone else are very confident in each other and what they bring to the table

as allura once put it “voltron wouldnt be voltron without each and every one of you. none of you are more important than the other, and none of you are any less valuable to this team”

(also allura may have punched lotor in the face after he released that statement. pidge wont say one way or the other)

[listen we know its been done but hear us out]

- keith and pidge are really serious about it. like genuinely looking for cryptids theyre utterly consumed

- lance doesnt believe any of it so he just fucks around and touches shit

- he also fucks with data and nothing ever gets done

- hunk is the camera man, but hes so fucking scared all the time

- like constantly

- always running away from the action

- coran is the one that researches everything before hand, he gives them the history and lore and stuff

- allura analyzes everything

- every time they go out, keith and pidge remember all the history, theyre so excited and then lance FUCKING RUINS EVERYTHING

- EVERYTHING

- but they have fun and its worth it

- eventually they do find mothman

- lance goes out on the hunt with like 15 lanterns bc “moths are attracted to lanterns keith. god do you even know anything about bugs!!!” 

- “were not hunting bugs were hunting mothman”

- “half of the name is moth so hes gotta be part bug. at least half of this plan is BOUND TO WORK KEITH, im thinking logically!!”

- “can you please take this seriously for once?”

- “you know what?! i dont need to take this from you!!!”

- he throws the lanterns down and storms away dramatically, only to be back a few minutes later begrudgingly holding one of the sound recorders

- “this is stupid moths dont even make noise…”

- “by youre theory hes half man and humans make noise”

- “yeah but moths dont”

- “but????? humans do lance!!!”

- “the picture you showed me had the head of a moth. and most of the body of a moth. im starting to think mothman is just a really big moth”

- pidge chimes in with “he basically is”

- “and SOMEONE shot down my lantern idea when were just hunting a big ass MOTH?!!!”

- keith tried to kick lance out but the viewers like him

- lance says its because hes smart but keith insists its only because hes pretty
