Some user i saw on TT: "I'm a Theriantropy educator!"
*Proceeds to make a bunch of videos where they ALWAYS gotta mention how Theriantropy can never be physical and mentally ill folks can't be Therian*
Tumblr media
I wasn't even able to find a proper reaction pic for the absolute DISSAPOINTMENT i felt
Funniest part is that they use cultures that include physical transformation to an animal, AGAINST PHYSICAL NONHUMANS. They just, exclude the transformation part
"Oh but Theriantropy is based on cultures that have deep connections to animals!" Yeah and some of them also believe in transformation, how about you also mention that in your "educational videos"

Idc how many people hate Aaravos and/or Claudia, I swear if they don't get to heal too in arc 3 I'm going to be very upset.
The show loves to focus on morality, character development/growth and forgiveness, but if they are going to be partial and only give that as a privilege to the "good guys", then that would be atrocious.
It's already horrible how Viren's story ended, especially since he had changed his ways and saw things in a different light, and the only thing I feel positive about regarding his unfair death is the fact that he died doing the thing that's most good: sacrificing himself for everyone else's safety and life. It's the exact same thing he was talking about and believed before Claudia resurrected him, except by the time he did it himself, he had already realized the error in his ways.
I don't want the other dark mages—Aaravos and Claudia—to have the same fate as Viren just because their actions, like his, were way worse than everybody else's. Yes, I believe they should both atone. Yes, I believe that their crimes shouldn't go unpunished or be immediately forgiven just because they say "sorry"... but to anyone who disagrees with me, think about it this way:
Out of everyone in the show, Aaravos and Claudia have it the worst. Unlike the protagonists and their allies, Claudia and Aaravos have lost all of their loved ones (ik he played a part in that but bear with me on this). Claudia's mom left and because of that, she'd developed a fear of having to choose, so she was once again hurt when Soren left. Then she worked very hard to resurrect her father, only for him to die and leave her too, and then Terry left.
And then you have Aaravos, whose sweet, loving daughter and very likely only family was killed by his own kind—cruel and heartless—had succumbed to overwhelming grief and rage (exactly like Zubeia and Harrow but has anybody mentioned this?) to the point that he made getting vengeance his life's purpose. Since he's probably not powerful enough to kill the council, the only way he can hurt them is by destroying the balance they uphold. And even though I assume Aaravos is the most hated character, he has it the absolute worst, even worse than Claudia. He'd forced himself to live a now-meaningless existence, carrying with him the hatred and torment for *eternity*. Forever.
If we get arc 3, I want both of them to have a revelation and a change of heart like Viren did, going through all the emotions, the vulnerability (maybe Claudia can realize that her actions were pushing her family away, and Aaravos can realize that Leola wouldn't have wanted all this), but I don't want them to die too.
I want them to earn forgiveness by doing exactly what Viren did, the most good thing: giving themselves to help and save others. They should be treated the same as everyone else, because if Aaravos and Claudia both die, it sends a bad message: that they (along with every other dark mage) don't deserve to be happy and live on like the "good guys" because of how horrible their actions were, even after changing for the better.
