By Artist Deepa Jaisingh - Oil on Canvas paintings Artist Statement:- I m not a writer Still I wish to write For the beautiful paintings That comes in my sight I wish to draw and paint The feelings I have in heart I wish to draw landscapes portraits But to some it might just look like simple art I look forward to critics To talk about my work But if they say I m not good I will not go berserk Because I love to paint And I 'll grow with time This is my love and passion And will always be mine About the Artist: Born in 1984 in New Delhi , the national capital of India , and living in Dubai with her husband, Deepa Jaisingh has developed her own style in state of art oil paintings. Deepa is a self taught artist driven by her passion for self expression through her love for most exquisite and vibrant paintings. Born and brought up in India stayed in Delhi, Jaipur , Roorkee and recently Dubai, she has seen different cultures and weathers, her cultural influence can be seen in her paintings easily. At a very young age of 6, she found her sheer interest in art. She participated in many art competitions and claimed a few prizes from Camlin and other institutions. She has been exhibiting her art in Delhi in Hauz Khas village famous for showcasing and selling art of upcoming artists. For last 7 years, while working as an Executive Assistant, Deepa painted on a daily basis after work and during weekends. Her free hours are always devoted to art. From portraiture to abstracts, from Landscapes to seascapes, painting from the photographs, she immensely enjoys making oil paintings on canvas using palate knives and brushes.
