one of my favourite genres of character is , specifically a doctor or scientist who is So deeply evil coded but they're a member of the good guy team & actively helping. & theyre not even a reformed villain theyre just like that. going hehehehehee in their dark scary lab while developing an device that will actually help a lot of people

#i'd say Nightshade is like this to some degree #but also Mothwing. who probably comes off as a Shockwave type but is just an aspiring medic #who happens to be mute and look like something between mothman and a dracula

More shademutate ship art

Basically imagine that Transmutate still exploded like they did in BW. The first one is Nightshade not wanting to let go of their dead body and trying to salvage as many parts as they can while hiding them from the others. The second is basically the same but they are in a more supportive (?) resourceful environment so they can just organize Transmutate's body parts neatly on a table while trying to figure out necromancy.

Neither will happen in this AU! Transmutate won't die, not even temporarily. Consider these fanarts of my own AU lol.

think it gets lost in the sauce sometimes that the Terrans' existence isn't predicated on the Autobots and Decepticons being on Earth. the Emberstone still would've been there even if the war never came to Earth. the Terrans would've been humanity's first experience with Transformers, they'd have no reason to think they were even alien right off the bat!
