Chuffed is capable of depositing money directly into accounts but it uses Stripe to do this, which is not available in Palestine or even in Israel

Which means that the middleman party - M. Sliman of the United States should be brought more to the forefront; how are they getting this money to Abed/Abdelmajed? It is not stated.

Abed states that rather than food or medical care, he is raising money to pay the extortionate fees to access the Rafah crossing. That was, earlier in 2023 and 2024, a real demonstrated need that had a criminally heavy price tag. However, the Rafah crossing reopened in January for medical purposes but closed March 18. There is no aid getting in, such that even World Central Kitchen are running out of food stocks. In any case, the ricocheting ceasefire situations mean that the details of the management of the Rafah crossing have changed. There is no price per head and there is no one to bribe. The escape routes have closed.

This person's blog is reblogging aboodfmly, and I think based on aboodfmly's rotating post that the Chuffed campaign is supposed to be for the Abed on aboodfmly and there was another campaign attached to this blog but someone fucked up

This was obviously sent by a botnet because a real person would have looked at my most recent posts and not done the exact thing that one of those posts was talking about.

It's the end of the month and I'm broke. Call your reps and pressure them to find a way to get aid into Gaza. Do not give this campaign money.

sad reality of the fanfic-to-published work economy is that the weirdest people are willing to do it. that's why there's now hundreds of shitty no plot cishet hate-to-love enemies-to-lovers books that are ex reylo fanfic. and it's not even good. that's because the people who wrote book-quality steve/bucky and kirk/spock fic are too normal to think to themselves "i should get this porn published". they're too busy working in local government offices
