“ i’m sure that’ll be a great skill, worthy of a great magician. ” she peeks up from her readings and picks up the offered timetable, her grimace reading pretty plainly that she doesn’t necessarily agree it’s anything that terrible. with a sigh, she sets it back on the table and springs up to her feet, knuckles ramming into the wooden surface as a display of her frustration. “ you think that’s bad? spellcasting class is right after photography club meeting. which is all the way to the other side of the earth. how am i supposed to get to class in time? i wasn’t aware i joined the track team. ”

“well, keep your grades up and one day you’ll be just as great!”  graeme replies with a gummy smile. all too proud. homework’s a sham, anyway. especially when he’s — well, someone’s — paying what they are in tuition. which is a high number. some people say. “you should. the track team has the best snacks,” graeme points out.  “and don’t dismiss a mid-day jog. you’ll arrive to spellcasting pumped and warmed up for the hand geometry.” he mimes a few fake spells, exaggerating the flicks of his fingers. “don’t be afraid to stand out, make your impression.” he leans forward and continues seriously, “be the girl who arrives ready.”

       “listen,  my mom installed it for the whole house to share   —   there’s no way it violates some housing - building code,  y’kno?”  graeme does know,  in fact.  they’re always tricky wtih bulky electronics.  energy suckers,  like they don’t live in a magical school with magical things and . . .  magic.  standing in front of a humongus chrome,  cafe-grade cappuchino maker,  graeme uncrosses his arms and flashes his smile  —  his best and brightest,  “come on, regent.  boss.  can’t we come to some sort of agreement about this?”  //  @elektranoe​

       “dude,  my schedule is kinda ass this semester,  barely saved by scoring that enchanting lab with professor fritz.  i heard he lets you color for homework.  just got to figure out how to enchant crayons . . .”  squared up at a polished table in the library,  graeme squints at his timetable before he tosses it over towards ametrine for her viewing pleasure.  “you?”   //  @girlicarian​

SUMMARY.

a born vampire.  parents are snobby 

youngest in the family — graeme’s older siblings are perfect  ( oldest, sister = house regent  &  swim team club president.  brother = chess club championship team of ‘15 )  they’re successful adults & he clashes w them frequently 

his mother’s favorite child  &  he knows it!  the bane of his father’s existence

graeme is little brother energy. incredibly competitive.  entirely capable of taking punches.  knows when to stay down  &  fight another day 

has a bit of a problem with sticky fingers.  likes to take things  &  never remembers to put them back  —  is always getting into fights  &  is on the soccer team after leaving the tennis team his second year 

determined to get the soccer club to a big win this year.  they’ve been in a slump 

likes painting,  music,  flying kites,  bad movies,  hanging out anywhere that’s not his bedroom  &  wearing jewelry 

all his jewelry are enchanted with luck charms

is super into kin studies — he’s nosy, he’ll ask questions or halfway read a book 

wants to be a professional athlete,  but his parents want him to take a more secure route.  he doesn’t super know what to do after graduation 

is known to cut it super close to curfew — is very close to formal warnings 

has the most random friends on and off campus. graeme always knows a guy 

is very into leather jackets this semester. last semester it was coach jackets 

most of the time he’s just like ugh love me i’m fun

has four bumble bee toads all named after a witch he learned about in class the semester he got them

he doesn’t spend a lot of time in his room aside from napping, but when he’s there the door’s open. likes when people pop in & the place is surprisingly clean  ( his mother’s known for impromptu visits. brings gifs to campus a lot. keeps him in good w admin )

WANTED DYNAMICS.
