Enchanted Bedroom Set (Maxis Match Build/Buy CC!)

I really enjoy the mystical, magical vibe (I mean if you know me you know), and I wanted more of that in the game. This set was super fun to make and I learned a lot of things for it, one of them being how to make custom bedding deform properly while animating. It was very frustrating for a while, but satisfying once I got it.

One item I find very fun in this set is the Geode Lamp, which is technically a lamp but can be a plain crystal geode if you turn it off. It emits a soft glow which also lets you customize its hue to your liking in-game as well! The Sun Goddess Mirror can also be placed at any height you choose, similar to paintings in the game.

Stop Sims 4 thievery.

Don’t support Simsulani.

It has been 1 week. @hellosimsulani still hasn’t taken accountability and continues to profit from thievery. One tenth (40/397) of her pose packs are stolen. 25 creators are taken advantage of and over 210 of their rigs were robbed. And more theft is still being discovered. Change is needed.

This has been ongoing for at least three years. This was no mistake, this was a deliberate process where she knew that what she was doing was wrong.

There is hard evidence of her theft, but Simsulani continues to deny all accusations and is doing damage control to continue to profit and make money from (deceived) patrons. An example, Simsulani has quietly been deleting a few stolen packs, but never acknowledged (also to those creators that approached her for those packs) that any theft had taken place and even ignored those creators. She is sweeping her deeds under the rug by keeping silent and ignoring the issue.

That’s why I am taking a public approach again with a harsher tone. I tried to contact her, but she has been responding to others and is ignoring me.

To all pose users, please don't support Simsulani’s behavior. There are many amazing pose creator’s she stole the poses from, please go to the original creators instead and not to Simsulani. Money will aid in enabling her so please cancel your subs.

And Simsulani, cancel all the Patreon tiers until you make your own poses for a while and make your own poses from scratch. Never steal anyone’s poses ever again. Make a public statement of your theft and delete all stolen packs, you know better than us which ones these are, don’t make us search for them all. Take accountability.

My response to that on 7 october (send reminders) and last monday:

An apology is just empty words to appease temporarily if there is no change. This was no apology but damage control. 

I urge you to stand for and behind our pose makers and content creators when it comes to thievery, we shouldn’t take it lightly that original content that people worked hard on is being stolen to make money. Please stop paying and supporting those thieves.

We might not be able to stop all thieves or stop them from appearing this way, but it would become so much more unattractive for them to try. We shouldn’t lose more original creators because of theft.

There is a line between inspiration and theft and here it has been crossed as literal rigs were exported and edited.

The ultimate default underwear collection

These stunning underwear's are from the SxC Lovebirds collection by @caio-cc and @serenity-cc. Also the Midnight and Scandal collection by Sentate! They are by far my most loved underwear's in the game so with that I decided to turn them into a default replacement for the not so pleasantly looking EA ones.

As stated above these are not created by me, I've simply just turned them into a default replacement. These will override the default underwear in game so make sure to only download one set.

Hijabi Sims

Dear The Sims Community please hear me out!

As a Muslim Hijabi woman, I’d rather have no representation at all than misrepresentation.

Believe me, I never cared about having hijabs in the game, I never felt the need to see myself represented in The Sims ever, but now that there IS a hijab I wish that everyone who uses it uses it right.

A hijab is an outfit that has to be not revealing and loose, it has to cover all skin and hair, except the face, the hands and maybe the feet.

Some hijabis do reveal their forearms, a bit of their hair, maybe ankles, or wear tight clothes, but that’s it! If you ever reveal the chest, the knees, the arms, or the hair, we’re no longer talking about hijabs. I can’t stress this enough.

i swear i make new reshades every time i open my game XD… anyway, this is the reshade that my dove legacy posts will be using for the foreseeable future!

*disclaimer: i only tested this in del sol valley, don’t @ me if it looks terrible everywhere else XDDD

This reshade was created using version 3.0.8 and features:

Filmic Pass, Magic Bloom, DPX, Ambient Light, MXAO (shift-3), FXAA, SMAA, Luma Sharpen, Tint, Levels, Depth Haze, and Vibrance

+ 2 DoFs: Ring and GP (toggled with shift-2)

In order for the reshade to work properly:

🔔 IMPORTANT 🔔 : download reshade v3.0.8 here and download the v3 shaders from here. the preset will not look the same if you don’t use a 3.0 version!!! if you’re having trouble, don’t hesitate to shoot me a message!

– Drop the .ini file in this filepath:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin (or where ever your Sims 4 game files are located; the installed reshade files should be there too) – DO NOT place in your  “documents” folder! – Make sure to disable edge smoothing and post-processing effects in your settings! – Use “Printscreen” to capture pics with the reshade effects enabled.

Finally assembled for public realise - some presets, I made for Renathal sim and also use for my dunmers. Works better with custom skin overlays, as it masks minor imperfections in normal maps occurred from importing process.

SOLUTIONS! CAUSE WE’RE ALL TIRED!

So today @isjao asked me if I could post a blender file containing a basic streak mesh to make everybody’s job easier, so I thought: “why not” and decided I would post a whole zip file instead, containing the mesh + all my base textures I use when I have no patience to scroll the whole sims4studio catalog looking for the perfect texture.

The .zip file contains:

The streak mesh (modifier on);

My hand-painted base texture (EA dirty blonde, 13th swatch);

The other 23 EA swatches (if you like my version. If you have your own actions, you can recolor the base again);

My 40 PuppyCrow swatches;

A hand-painted scalp texture, if you want it. (png and dds);

Bump map and Specular map ready to go!

A text file for troubleshooting and TOU.
