There needs to be a bar or club or something that when you walk in there’s a rack of different color wristbands with words like “I’m looking for-“

girls

boys

anyone

no one

friends

etc

So that everyone would know who’s looking for who.

Like:

“Hey that girl is cute. And her wristband says she’s also looking for a girl. Sweet!”

Or:

“He’s cute, but his wristband says girls. Oh well.”

Can we meet for a coffee?

After 3 years without seeing each other, he asked me out for a cup of coffee. We discussed our past for hours and then he said we should discuss our future from now on. He looked at me like I was the center of his universe and said he was ever longing for the day I would say the words he wanted to hear. I had never felt so hypnotized in my life. He kissed me and suddenly all of my defenses were off. I almost gave in. I almost told him I’d loved him for all those years. But then his phone rang. It was his ex-boyfriend.
