She just wanted to run and hide. She felt so out of place. Emmy had zero confidence in herself and that showed. She wished she was like some of the other girls, who looked beautiful and graceful as they moved around the hall. She just felt awkward. Emmy looks over at the female, “Good” She replies. Emmy knew that no one was going to ask her to dance, she’d just be stood here on her own for the rest of the night. She felt like a spare part. “I knew they wouldn’t” She carries on. Emmy already knew that no one would notice or even care if she left, she just needed someone to reaffirm it.

 emmy hated events like these. she hated dressing up. she just felt awkward. she was happy her friends where having a good time though, that’s all that matters. she stands at the edge of the dancefloor with a drink in hand. she turns to the person that’s stood next to her, “do you think anyone would notice if i sneaked off?”

Emmeline Vance's outfit for the Winter Ball:

Emmeline wasn’t one to dress up but she was forced into it. She decided to go with her house colours and dress up in blue & silver. Emmeline wore her hair down and got one of the other Ravenclaw girls to curl it. She wanted to keep everything as simple as possible. She didn’t see the point of going all out, after all she was only going to wear this dress once (unless she had another fancy event to go to).

lil’ christmas psa from ya girl corrie

hello ya lovely folks!! i hope you’ve all had a super rad christmas and i hope you’re all having a fab boxing day. i may be on later today but first i’m spending some time with my mum whilst my brother and my dad are at a football match. i know tomorrow will be a bit iffy for me  as we are going to see my grandparents on my dad’s side & all of my dad’s side of the family. they don’t live where we live so we gotta travel a little bit. i doubt i’ll be on tomorrow. then after that i’m staying at my boyfriends!! i will be active then because he works nights and i need something to do!! pls forgive me. it’s the festive season ya’know. thanks for reading this psa. if you’ve got to the end of this then well done. here is a photo of one of my dogs having great fun with one of my christmas presents:

     Reaching the threshold of the Great Hall, Rab frowned and shook his head. “Nope. I am not going in there,” he said to himself as he pulled out a flask from his coat pocket, taking a swig of Firewhiskey. He tried to get himself inside several times, but was always too reluctant and ended up aimlessly walking down empty corridors. Before he knew it the flask was empty, and loud, upbeat music emanated from the hall. “ALRIGHT– let’s party.” Intoxicated, Rabastan charged through the crowded dance floor and just let loose. Dancing without cease, he turned to the person closest to him and asked in the loudest voice he could manage, “ain’t this party fun or what?!” 

Emmy was surviving the dance, it really wasn’t her scene and she’d much rather be back in the common room with a good book. But all of her friends where here, so she kinda had to be here too. So she danced and she drank, she was in the middle of dancing when Rabastan spoke to her. She’d never seen him like this before, it surprised her to say the least. She doesn’t really know what to say to him, “Yeah it’s pretty good. I can see you’re enjoying yourself”

Molly could admit that she did enjoy dressing up for parties like this kind. Growing up she was the only daughter, so she was rather spoiled and put into cute little clothes. Of course she did fight it to an extent because she didn’t want to be viewed as weak or fragile. She re-positioned the mask on her face, but the bright red hair was mostly likely a dead giveaway to who she was. Molly took a cup from the table and sipped it, glancing at the people around her when she noticed someone standing over to the side. “How everyone can dance so effortlessly is a surprise to me.” She never really did learn to dance. Do you know how?” She asked curiously. 

Emmy wasn’t really a dance person. She felt awkward being all dressed up. She didn’t really know where to place herself. Emmy hitched up her long blue dress and made her way over to Molly. She was going to say hello, then Molly spoke first. “You’re asking the wrong person Molls, I’m just as clueless as you are” Emmy replies with a laugh.

hello lovelies!! i’m corrie. it’s great to meet you all, i shall be playing the cutiepie that is emmeline vance aka emmy (she hates emmeline ok). i’m looking forward to playing her, i’ve got a lot of muse!! undercut you’ll find more info on her.

emmy is a BIG nerd. if she lived in 2016 she’d probs have her own tumblr account and would be in so many fandoms.

she is a 100% a ravenclaw. when the sorting hat was placed on her head it had no issue with sorting her. 

she’s the oldest of two. her younger brother is also at hogwarts and also a ravenclaw. 

she was raised in a wizarding household. she was raised in a neutral household. her parents taught both emmy & her brother not to care about blood status.

since going to hogwarts and seeing all of the flack that the muggle borns and half blood kids got from other students, which has made her super angry. she wants to do something about it.

she is a very clever girl and loves studying. she tries very hard in her exams and often gets the top grades in everything.

sometimes she can be perceived as a bit of a loner. she does have a small select group of pals tho.

she loves to read and you can often find her curled up reading something in the ravenclaw common room.

growing up she was given lots of freedom by her parents, she had the chance to explore the world a little bit (well muggle london), which has made her quite wise.

she’s a bit of an old soul. if ur going to do something stupid, she’ll tell you that ur going to do something stupid.

she’s a crazy talented witch! her dad has taught her a lot of spells to “prepare her for the outside world”.
