MIHAWK IS NOT A SADIST PLEASEEEEE AHHHHH 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 nothing about him has ever shown him ENJOYING and finding fulfillment in hurting others, if anything they made a big point in saying how bored he is while doing it, and he often ends it as soon as possible if he thinks the person is not worth his time.

I can maybe get the point of him being extremely petty, arrogant and holding little value in others' lives but he never protracts people's suffering because he's simply not interested in doing so. Times and times again we're shown how Mihawk finds thrills in challenging fights, not the delight in hurting others. When he kills on a whim it's almost nihilistic, short and efficient.

When he's interested in the fight, he is because of the fun of the battle, not the chance or prospect of hurting others.
