okay and maybe I am just an annoying tenrose shipper, and maybe every mention of Rose Tyler in any season of doctor who that has ever existed makes me kick my feet and twirl my hair like a silly little middle schooler with a crush, but hear me out. the doctor loved rose so much you guys. So much that after all these years she’s so present in his mind he becomes her. the doctor loves rose tyler so much that after a whole season filled with the angst of never being able to have a family in the capacity that he had hoped, the doctor becomes the one woman who he wanted to take the slow path for. Why??? I have so many theories and absolutely no answers. but in the incredibly odd world that time lords exist in I can��t see regenerating into a woman with roses face as anything other than romantic.

extremely underrated dr who scenario is pairing up classic who companions w later incarnations of the Doctor and having them be like 'wtf why is the Doctor hot now'. just like people who have never for one second thought of the Doctor as attractive suddenly having the most disconcerting crush of their life.

anyway here are my top picks for Doctors to do this with:

Three: listen im not into Three personally but I do think he's the sexiest classic doctor. if you are into older men just unbelievably charming & debonair & well dressed. definitely some guys n gals who would love this Doctor to sweep them off their feet and feel very confused about it.

Eight: something i love about Eight is how oblivious he is to his own prettyboy status. 'I am treating people the same as I always do,' he says. 'why do my companions keep falling in love with me.' they would all fall under his spell.

Thirteen: now i have to say i don't think Thirteen is a very sexy Doctor due to being some kind of weird little gremlin, however, great one to sick on any and all lesbian companions. thought you were immune to the Doctor's weird flavour of sexiness?? think again!

Fifteen: nuclear bomb!! nuclear bomb!! companions who've never experienced one iota of attraction to the Doctor are drowning in his eyes. companions are having their bi awakenings. honestly i think he is flustering everyone regardless of whether they're attracted to him due to his warm and loving nature. insanity inducing incarnation.

The Weeping Angels are really scary until you realize if any organism sees them they are fucked so they get hard countered by geckos, who don't blink and can see in the dark. If the Doctor strapped like two geckos onto him he'd be fine.

Thinking about Rose Tyler again but specifically from a working class perspective. Like her whole rant about how she can’t just go back to work and live a monotonous life after being away and traveling with the doctor is so relatable. Like obviously this isn’t an exact 1:1 comparison but I kind of felt a similar way when I first came home from college and had to go back to my old part time job. Like when I finally went away to college and stepped out of my hometown into a place where no one knew me I felt totally free. Like I could be completely myself with little to no pressure and then to come back home and be stuck in my childhood room and my same shitty part time job? It felt like going backwards. Anyway idk where exactly I was going with this I just love the first season of Doctor Who and Rose Tyler especially.
